Think We Kissed But I Forgot
Celestia's sun was pounding on Fluttershy's eyelids, its powerful rays making their way into her small cottage bedroom and effectively waking her up. The yellow mare rubbed her eyes, opening them slowly as to not let too much light in them at once.
Upon opening her eyes, Fluttershy noticed something very strange. Two things, actually.
One: She had the worst headache.
Two: She wasn't alone.
Fluttershy's horror only increased as she realized exactly whose company she was in. These ponies were not strangers. No, far from it.
These were her five best friends. Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity were positioned in various spots in and around her bed.
Twilight was draped over one of the tall posters on the bed, her legs dangling over the edge while her head was positioned almost directly above where Fluttershy was laying. The oddest and most noticeable thing about her, though, was that she was wearing every single Element necklace (plus her tiara), one around each hoof as well as one knotted up in her tail, the small golden tiara hanging haphazardly from one ear.
Rainbow Dash was sprawled out on top of the bedsheets, limbs spread every which way. On her head was strapped a red plastic cup, poorly held on by a string and some duct tape. Her mouth was hanging wide open, inside of which was a large quantity of carrots.
On top of her lay Rarity, whose usually perfectly coiffed mane was in shambles. Taking a closer look, Fluttershy could spot easily several rainbow-colored strands woven in the dark indigo. Her face had multiple drawings on it- stallionhoods, curse words, and gang symbols littered the normally-impeccable white fur.
Fluttershy peered over her bed, anxiety only increasing as she spotted Applejack. The orange mare was splayed on the ground, back leg twitching wildly as drool flowed from her mouth. More interestingly was what was obviously meant to be an apple-shape of beer bottles surrounding her. Since whichever brilliant architect constructed it was obviously hammered, it more resembled a blob.
"Hey, Fluttershy, weren't you gonna look for me?"
Fluttershy didn't even have time to blink as who was likely Equestria's most famous party mare appeared in front of our face.
"Um... hi, Pinkie."
"Hi, Fluttershy! Oh, Flutters, last night was so awesome! I mean, I know that's kind of Dashie's line, but, oh my gosh, last night was so much funnnnnn! Me and you and Applejack were-"
"Um, uh, Pinkie " Fluttershy whispered.
"What?" Pinkie asked as she bounced up and down on top of the bed, somehow, maybe miraculously, not waking any of the rest of the mares up.
"What... what exactly happened last night?" Fluttershy asked, her usual meekness showing itself once again.
"Oh! Well, see, we were all at my five-days-since-my-last-party-party, and then Twilight decided that finally she really really really wanted to try a drink since she'd never had one before, so we all went over to the bar, and then we all got drunk, except I didn't see Rainbow Dash drink any, but since she was acting all drunk and stuff she must'vvvve-
Fluttershy's eyes widened in alarm, looking down at the multi-hued mare and her exquisitely crafted hat.
"R-rainbow drank?"
"Well, yeah! She had to've because she was flying all over the place and trying to make out with Twilight-"
"Pinkie!" Fluttershy exclaimed, her usual meekness overcome by her desire not to know the specifics of what went obviously went on last night.
"What?"
"Rainbow is allergic to alcohol! She's broken out in hives every time she's drank!"
"Huh?"
"Oh, no, let me make sure she's okay," Fluttershy said, her pupils dilated in worry as she hopped out of the bed, head still slightly spinning, and went over to where Rainbow Dash lay passed out.
"Hmm... no hives... huh. You, um, sure she was drinking, Pinkie?"
"Well, either that or she's a really good actress!"
"Pinkie, I think we should take her to the hospital. I don't want anything bad to happen to her!"
"Wait, Fluttershy, aren't you a doctor?"
"For animals, but I don't have to the resources to treat a pony for alcohol poisoning, or hives- or worse!" Fluttershy said, before she got an idea. Grabbing a notepad off of her nightstand, she scribbled out a quick note to her remaining friends before climbing out of the bed onto her floor, and in an uncharacteristic show of strength, brought on only by desire to save her friend from a horrible fate, heaved Rainbow on to her back, and beckoned for Pinkie to follow her as they ran toward Ponyville General.
They arrived at the hospital, Fluttershy panting, and Pinkie Pie bouncing happily... if not a small bit worried, beside her. Rushing the counter, they were greeted, though not warmly, by a purple-and-white receptionist mare.
"Welcome to Ponyville General," the grumpy mare droned. "How can I help you?"
"Well, see," Fluttershy began, still gasping for air, "my friend Rainbow Dash drank a lot last night except she's allergic to alcohol and gets hives whenever she drinks-"
"Okay, ma'am," the receptionist said as she hit a button on a tiny switchboard at her desk, alerting a unicorn mare who brought out a stretcher in a waiting room. She took Dash into her magical grasp, floating her onto the stretcher and pushing her back into the halls of the hospital.
"When she's ready for visitors, I'll let you know," the mare said, and with a roll of her eyes, went back to the crossword puzzle she had been working on before.
Pinkie and Fluttershy made their way over to one of the small couches in the waiting room, the latter taking a seat while Pinkie, of course, chose to bounce in place.
"Oh, I do hope she's okay," Fluttershy said, the worry evident in her voice. "I don't know what I'd do if she was hurt. I remember the last time Rainbow drank- we were at our Flight School graduation, and the punch was spiked-" Fluttershy blathered on, the storytelling comforting her. Pinkie wasn't really listening, so when she saw the remainder of their friend group walk in the door, she seized the distraction.
"Fluttershy! Twilight and Applejack and Rarity are here!"
Fluttershy turned her head to the front doors, where her three messy-looking friends were standing, looking for her and Pinkie. Fluttershy waved them over, and the trio ran to where she was sitting.
"Is Rainbow okay?"
"We came as soon as we saw the note!"
"What happened, Flutters?" All three mares, plus Pinkie, had their attentions directed at her.
"Um, I don't really know. All I know is that last night, we drank, and then probably had-"
"Yeah. We know." Twilight deadpanned, a slightly sick look on her face, accompanied by a blush that was soon common among the five mares. "What happened with Rainbow, though?"
"Well, she's allergic to alcohol, and when Pinkie told me that she remembered her having some-"
"Ah don't think Rainbow had any drinks last night, Fluttershy," Applejack said, an odd, suspicious look on her face. Some of the others nodded in agreement.
"Well, apparently she was acting drunk, so I brought her here for treatment, just in case."
Just then, a nurse walked out, signaling to the receptionist mare, who then nodded at Fluttershy.
"All right, girls, let's go," Twilight said, and the group made their way to the swinging doors, where the nurse, her clipboard floating in a blue aura of magic, led them through multiple corridors until they reached room M42.
"The doctor's waiting inside," she said, pushing open the door before leaving them. One by one, the mares made their way into the small white room, where Rainbow Dash lay awake, hooked up to multiple devices and fluid bags, with an embarrassed blush brighter than a tomato gracing her face. The doctor in the room turned around, his glasses resting squarely on his muzzle, giving the girls an odd glare.
"While Rainbow Dash here's medical records do signify an intolerance toward alcoholic beverages, she does not appear to have any alcohol in her system."
Only Twilight understood the implication of this immediately. "How far do the tests go back?"
"We're able to test the blood alcohol levels from approximately the last 48 hours."Twilight turned her glare onto the chromatically-maned pegasus.
Slowly, as the others caught on one by one, they too turned to look at her, a fire in their eyes asking for an explanation.
"So... you weren't drunk?" Applejack asked, her green eyes narrowed to slits.
"Uh... well," the pegasus stammered.
"And you had sex with us all anyway?" Twilight asked, a few tell-tale strands of her mane springing out of place.
Rainbow gave a sheepish grin.
All hell broke loose.
