'Fight For The Cook'

Chapter2: Ouch

As you walk into the restaurant you hear someone calling you. You turn around to find it is your fellow coworker, Golden Spoon.
Golden Spoon was one of your few friends. He was a light brown colt with a yellow mane. His eyes were a dark blue color.
“Sup Spoon?” You ask walking over to the kitchen doors.
“We’re way more busy then we usually are today! I need help filling in all these orders!” He says frantically flipping pancakes and popping toast in the toaster.
“Don’t worry I'm coming.” You say running over to the order board.
“OK. I’ll do the sandwiches and the drinks. You handle the toast and griddle.” You say going to your station.
You look over to the pile of sandwich orders and you are utterly amazed.
‘We’re never this busy! Twenty orders for daffodil wraps, And that’s only half the stack.' You thought
“Five more orders of daffodil wraps!”
The voice of one of the waiters bring you back to reality.
You start to make the wraps. Being careful not to add to much ranch on the bread so it doesn’t get to soggy.
'Why does it seem like everypony in Equestria is going to our little restaurant?' you thought finishing your nineteenth wrap.
“Hey! You still have to pour all the drinks!” Golden Spoon reminds you.
“On It.” You reply running to the barrels of juices.
“Okay twenty glasses of cider. Fifteen of orange juice.... And ten of grape juice.Got it!” You say to yourself aloud.
You look over at Golden Spoon. He burnt the toast and was trying to put out a fire on the griddle. As you watch him you forget to move the glasses and you get the sticky cider all over your hands. You turn off the faucet and quickly rinse off your hands. You then start putting the glasses of juice on the right trays.
Right as you do that though a group of waiters come to the counter with five orders each.
“Oh fuck,” You sigh as you look at the orders “This is going to be one long day.”

9:00pm The Same Day
Your finally finished with the last order. In total you served over two thousand customers. Thats half the customers the old food joint gets in a week!
“I wonder why there was so many ponies today? Did we finally pay to have a spot in the newspaper?” Golden Spoon asks you.
“There’s no way our boss would pay that kind of money” You say throwing the leftover ingredients in the waste bin.
“Your right. The old fart is probably not even going to raise our paychecks for today” Golden Spoon sighs wiping off all the gunk on the griddle and frying pans.
“Probably? I know he won’t. He is probably sitting in all the bits we made today.” You say letting anger go into it.
Your boss,Mr.Greedy Mitts, Had to be Equestria’s most selfish pony. It’s in his name. He never gave you a pay raise. Never gave you more days off and never let you have a break.
You thought it was ridiculous, But this was the only job you could of got at the moment that would allow you to be a chef.
You remember the day you first started working here.....

Two years ago
“Hi Mr.Mitts.” You say when you went in his office for the interview
“Your hired” He grunts and handed you an apron.
“When do i start?” You asks
“Now. Get going or I'll take the time out of your paycheck” He says.
That surprises you, but you head for the kitchen.
This is where you meet Golden Spoon. He was arguing with a customer.When you first started working here there was no waiters, So the customers would walk up to the counter and tell you the order.
“I said I wanted an orange sliced salad! Not a mixed nut salad!” The obviously pissed off colt yelled.
“You said nut, And nuts is what you are going to get!” Golden Spoon yelled back.
“I don’t have to put up with this” The colt said walking out the door.
“See you later you bucki....” Before Golden Spoon finishes, The door to Greedy Mitt’s office swings open
“YOU IDIOT!” Mr.Mitts yells smacking Golden Spoon
“The customer is always right!” Greedy yells again delivering another smack on the back of Golden’s head.
At the sight of the second smack you punch your new boss in the gut.
He lets out a puff of air and drops to the ground.
You should never slap your workers.” You huff slowly recovering from your rage.
You thought right then and there you were going to get fired, But Greedy Mitts says through ragged breathing “Your not getting a paycheck for a month”
You were relieved that you weren’t fired and this little dilemma caused you to have a friendship with Golden Spoon.
For you, it was a win.

Present
You just left your job and was heading home when you trip on a rock.
“Ouch,” You say getting back up and brushing off your clothes.
When you get up you think what you and Octavia are going to do this week.
‘The first thing we could do is wake up and have sex.Then eat breakfast. Then we could have sex again. After that we could have lunch. Next we could have sex.’ You stop yourself before you go on and think to yourself ‘Lets find a schedule that is more then having food and sex.
You know Octavia would never agree to that anyways.
‘We could go out to a fancy place to eat. Maybe see a play a play after that.Then go for a night walk.’ You thought,‘That’s a better plan.’
You were about four blocks from your house on the outskirts of Canterlot.Still trying to decide what to do for the week when a chariot round a corner. It was heading down the street.
You thought nothing of it and kept on walking.
That’s when a squirrel runs onto the road. The chariot swerves and comes straight at you.
You were going to dodge it, but had know time.
The chariot hits you.
The last thing you think before you slam into a building and black out is ‘well fuck. There goes our week’

Chapter1: Beginning

“Ow,” you grunt as you accidentally hit your hand with a hammer.
“Are you okay dear?” a angelic voice behind asked in concern.
“Nothing Octavia,” you say.
The grey mare walks over to you certain that you are lying.When she sees your hand she gasped.
You looked to see that where your hand got hit it’s bleeding.
“lets go clean you up,” Octavia says leading you to the bathroom where the first aid kit is.
Your house is not overly big.It was a small, one story house with a living room,kitchen/dining room,bedroom and bathroom.
when you get to the bathroom Octavia goes to the cupboard and pulls out the first aid kit.She then pulls out a roll of bandages.
“Go wash your hand so it doesn’t get infected,”Octavia instructs pointing her hoof to the sink.
You walk over to sink and put your hand over it to make sure it’s all clean
when you are done cleaning you turn around and say “I’m done Octavia.You can wrap it up now.”
Octavia comes over to you and starts wrapping your hand in the soft,fluffy bandage.As you let her cover your hand in the bandage you can help but, look at her beautiful face.
Her soft,Jet black hair.Her Purple pools that are her eyes.
As your mind focuses on her beautiful facial features you don’t notice that she was done bandaging your hand.
“All done”Octavia says.
You jump so high you swear you could of made it to the moon.
“Sorry,”She giggled when you steady your footing from the jump
“Not funny,” You say.
She pecks you on the lips and says in a more seductive voice,”I’m Sorry”
“It’s okay,” you say brushing your hand through her silky hair.
You yawn loudly and it makes Octavia giggle,”We should probably get you to bed mister yawny pants.”

The Next Day
You awake to see a certain grey mare holding you tightly in her arms with her mouth wide open.
Making sure you don’t awake said mare you get out of the bed and walk to the kitchen.First think that enters your mind is “What should I eat?”
Being the amazing chef you are you decide on making Belgian waffles with whipped cream and strawberries for you and your cute marefriend. You know you could do better, but considering you had to go to work in about a hour you didn’t exactly have enough time to make a all you can eat buffet.
Getting all the necessary ingredients you mix them to make the batter.Pulling out the waffle maker you pour the thick batter on the quickly heating machine.
About fifteen minutes later you were adding the strawberries to you amazing looking waffles you here the clip clopping of hooves.
“Morning sleepy head,” You exclaimed setting the waffles next to the silverware and glass of orange juice on the table of the waiting Octavia
“Good morning,”Octavia replies tiredly.At seeing the plate of waffles, she perks up,”Are those for me?”
“Mmmm hmmm,” You say smiling down at her
She sticks the fork in the fluffy goodness.She moans is pleasure when she taste the waffles.”These are really good..... mmmm....,”Octavia moans once again when she shoves more of the terrific waffles in her mouth
“I'm glad you like it,”You say sitting down on your side of the table to enjoy your meal.
“So how long do you have stay at work today?,” The lovely cellist asks you as she finishes up the last bit of her breakfast.
You sigh and respond,”I have to work to 7:00am to 8:00pm.”
“That’s so unfair!”Octavia whines,which surprises you.
“What’s the matter honey?”You say concerned for her.
“You always have to work late nowadays!We never have time for ourselves anymore.With yours and my schedule!,”Octavia yells which is very unusual.
"It’s okay Octavia.You don’t have a concert this week and my boss gave me a week off after tomorrow because we’re remodeling.”you say trying to reassure your marefriend.
“Really?” she sniffles in response.
“Yeah.Imagine what fun we can have together.”you say walking over to her so you can rub her nice soft coat.
She moans in response and cuddles up to your standing body,but before you two get further you squeeze away.She has a confused look and you answer by saying,”Not until tonight”
She gives a pout but then sticks her tongue out“That’s fine with me,But you don’t know what your missing out on.”
All you can to is sigh and smile.”well better get going.Don’t want to be late.”
“Come right home.I want to wait as little as possible.”Octavia says.
“Bye.”You say walking out the door.
You smile and think to yourself about the time you first met Octavia.
You were serving food at a canterlot party.As you finish serving the appetizers they started playing the music.As you served the food all you can think is how good the music is.You especially liked the cello in it.You can also say the same about said cello’s player.
She looked beautiful in her purple dress.It matched her eyes perfectly.Her hair seemed to shine in the light.You couldn’t help but stare.
You watched her so intensely that you forgot to look at where you were going at spilled the wine you had over a noble.
The noble yelled at you and called you a “worthless human”
Being a human was hard for ponies at first.they thought there couldn’t be other intelligent humanoids anywhere.It was hard for the few humans in Equestria to find jobs.Ponies soon realized though,your fingers were a amazing tool.Most humans got jobs that was easier for things with hands but you?You wanted to be a chef,But there was no need for human chef’s,so when you went to got a job application you had to be a waiter.
It wasn't bad,But you really wanted to be a chef.
After the noble was done yelling at you he got up and walked out of the party.
All you could think at the time was that he was a prick.
You went back to serving other ponies.
After the party you,the other waiters and the musicians were packing up.
You remember that Octavia walked up to you and asked you for a glass of wine. You gave her a glass and she drank it in one gulp.
You were thinking how bad of a idea that was,but before you could say anything she asks for another glass and motions you to sit down.
You talked to her and later it ended up in a relationship.
As you finish with your flashback you sigh looking at the small restaurant you work at.
“well...Time to go to work,” you say entering the building
