After another night of crazy dreams, I awoke in the morning to see the sun shining. I grinned. Finally my curiosity would be put to rest. Repeating what I did yesterday, I went to wash in the river and chomped down on some grass. By the time I had gotten ready for the day, Annie, Tom and Beth had woken up. Following a similar routine to me, we were quickly off walking to the building.

As we walked we did little talking, solely concentrating on putting one hoof in front of the other. The sun moved slowly across the sky. It was going to be a long day. By the time we were hungry enough to decide to eat some lunch, we had appeared to have made little progress. Spirits were low as me munched down on our grass. However I told myself looks can be deceiving. I still hoped to reach the building by the end of the day.

========

Night was starting to fall but finally after hours of walking, we had arrived. I turned around to face my group.

"How should we do this then?" I asked cautiously. Tom rolled his eyes impatiently.

"Just walk in!" He demanded.

"Fine." I turned back around and opened the door. I peered in.

"Hello?" I asked. Torches flared to life.

"Hello," replied a regal, welcoming voice, "please come in, take a seat." I followed the voice's instructions. As I entered the room my eyes were met once again with the regal form of Celestia. We all gave a collective gasp as memories of how we came to be here flooded through our minds. Somewhere behind me I heard a collection of thuds of varying tones, before I could question what the noises where however, darkness covered my mind as I too passed out.

========

I woke up once again to the sight of Celestia.

"Didn't I pass out last time we met?" I asked her. She nodded in agreement.

"Actually I think you did it twice." I sighed.

"Well hopefully next time we meet there will be slightly less fainting." Once again, she nodded, smiling. From behind me came a group of groans.

"Ah it looks like your friends have come to as well."

"Oh hello again Princess." Annie greeted her.

"Hello there Annie". So her name was Annie. I thought... Odd that.

"Wait.. so my name was Annie!" She said triumphantly.

"Actually you got all of the names right, although you were all friends before you came here." She said calmly.

"Well Twilight did say something like that in a friendship report once" I said without thinking. I stopped. "How do I know that... and who the hell is Twilight." I asked worried.

"Some of your past memories may start leaking through every now and then, especially now that I have weakened the barrier that blocked off your old memories."

"What for?" I asked curiously.

"Because some things shall be necessary for the next part of your journey." Was all she said.

"Now then, to business."

"To buisness!" I cheered. She looked at us incredulously.

"What's that about?" She asked.

"Oh I thought it was a toast." I said laughing at my reference. Celestia just shrugged it off and carried on.

"Today you shall obtain your pony body. So ladies first." She said gesturing to Annie and Beth. The looked at each other before stepping forward.

"Annie from this day forth you shall be..." She paused for dramatic tension. I facehoofed. "An Earth pony." She finished as Annie and her horn glowed with a white ethereal light. Nothing appeared to happen. However Annie did look more solid.

"An Earth pony's speciality is not visible, its powers are from within." Celestia informed us.

"As for colour you shall gain it when your personality's are more defined." And with that she turned to Beth. The same process on her. As Celestia's horn glowed something started to protrude from Beth's head. It grew longer until it was a good 5 inches long. We stared at it. Beth sqealed in joy.

"I'm a Unicorn! I'm a Unicorn!" She cheered adorably jumping around.

"Hnnnnnnnng" I said pretending to pass out from the cuteness.

"Okay." Celestia said looking at me strangely a smile of amusement on her muzzle. "Moving on. Gentlestallions step forward please." Tom and I did so.

"Oliver you first." She indicated for me to step forward. I did so apprehensively. Once again her horn glowed and my body was surrounded with light. As it did I started to feel something on my sides. I grimaced at how uncomfortable it was.

"Sorry I'm trying to make this as comfy as possible." Celestia told me apologetically. Then the feeling stopped. I fell back to the floor and stretched. A whompf came from behind me. Annie gasped. I turned to look at where the sound came from. At each side of my body were two pearl white wings. My jaw dropped.

"They're...They're beautiful." I said breathlessly. I moved them around for a while before finally working out how to fold them away.

"They'll take some getting used to." Celestia told me smiling.

"And last but not least, Tom." Tom steeped forward. Once again her horn lit up and after a few moments of magic, he landed again, proudly sporting a new horn.

"Very well my little ponies it is time for you to move on." She informed us as she opened a door behind us.

"Step through this door and the next section of your journey shall begin." She stepped aside. The four of us traded glances and without a word, stepped through the door.
