Fluttershy Discovers XBOX
It was a beautiful day in Ponyville. The sun beamed warming the Earth with its presence and the blue sky looked like a vast ocean in the Bahamas. Rainbow Dash did a great job today as not a single cloud could be seen from Fluttershy's point of view. Fluttershy decided to go for a walk because such a beautiful day could not be passed-up.
" Be careful, Angel," Fluttershy squeaked while trying to catch up to her furry friend. " You know running will tire you out and give you cramps. You just ate a huge carrot, remember?" Fluttershy coaxed. She grabbed Angel and placed him on her back. "That is much safer for you. Plus, you can rest," the yellow-coated Pegasus commented.
Angel, being the slight ass he is jumped off of Fluttershy's back and continued running.
" Angel, wait! Watch out for Rain--" Fluttershy tried warning.
CRASH!
" Angel, I understand I have a nice plot and all but will you please get off of me?" Rainbow Dash questioned.
Angel promptly got up with a loo of rage in his eyes and kicked Rainbow in the shin. He nodded in triumph as he walked back over to Fluttershy.
" OW! What in the hay was that for Angel?" Rainbow Dash said in a pissed tone. She rubbed her leg and winced in pain.
" Now Angel, what did I tell you about hitting people during this week?" The Pegasus inquired.
Instantly, Angel ran back to Rainbow and kissed her shin.
" Good, remember our deal. If you don't hurt people for this whole week you will get a special carrot from Sweet Apple Acres' Carrot Farm," Fluttershy reminded the bunny.
" Heh, thanks Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash stated. " Hey Fluttershy, have you ever heard of an XBOX?" Rainbow Dash stated while giving a gesture toward her bag that said GameStop.
" No, why?" Fluttershy asked.
" Duh! Because it is one of the most popular items in Equestria today." Rainbow said in shock that her friend didn't know about this trendy item. " The creators, Microsoft, made a pony-friendly version for Pegasi, Unicorns, and Earth Ponies to enjoy," Rainbow informed. " I have one in the bag along with a few games. You can have them I'll just buy all the items again," Rainbow commented giving the bag to Fluttershy.
" Oh Rainbow, I couldn't this is yours and it looks very expensive," Fluttershy said eyeing the Xbox, the videogame and card that said Xbox Gold Membership- 1 year.
" Oh it is alright Flutters, I am rich after all. I will just buy another one," Rainbow Dash said with a proud tone," Either way, your birthday is in 3 days. Consider this my gift to you," Rainbow said.
" In that case, thank you for you generosity Rainbow. I will treasure this gift," Fluttershy thanked grabbing the bag in her mouth.
"No problem Fluttershy. You will need our gamer tags in order to play with all of us. Memorize these. Pinkie Pie x2, Applejack x2, Twi Sparkle x2, and Rarity x2." Rainbow Dash told Fluttershy. " When I get my Xbox all set up add me also, Rainbow Dash x2."
With that Rainbow flew off to buy more merchandise. And left Fluttershy in the park with Angel.
" What in the world was that?" Fluttershy asked Angel who simply shrugged it off.
As Fluttershy and Angel walked back to her cottage to start her Xbox Membership only one questioned clouded her mind.
What adventures await me with the strange human beings and ponies on Xbox Live
When Fluttershy arrived at her cottage the only thing on her mind was the setting up of this Xbox. It seemed complex and her TV wasn't exactly the most modern spectacle in technology, it was a 12x12 in television that are seen in homes whose families make low wage.
Of course, the Xbox comes with an instruction manual Fluttershy thought to herself quickly opening the box and fishing out a small packet with the instructions.
When Fluttershy was finished with this she logged on Xbox and started setting up her own account. She decided to go with the gamer tag Fluttershy x2 because that seemed to be a trend among all her friend. Their name and x2 written after it. She added all of her friends and got ready to begin her Xbox Live journey.
Pinkie Pie x2 is online
When that appeared, Fluttershy got very excited. She finally had an Xbox live buddy as she called it and promptly joined Pinkie's Xbox Live Party.
" Hello Fluttershy!" Pinkie exclaimed in her very usual tone. " How re you?"
" I'm fine thanks, how are you?"
" I'm great! if I remember your birthday is in a few days so I took the liberty of organizing the surprise Party. WAIT! Crap, I wasn't supposed to tell you that. Forget you ever heard it," Pinkie said chipperly. " Fluttershy, when did you get an Xbox?
" Just today actually. Rainbow Dash gave it to me as a gift," Fluttershy exclaimed.
" Dangit Rainbow Dash stole my birthday idea for you. But, that's okay I have a second and back up plan," Pinkie stated slyly." Fluttershy, what size is your TV?" Pinkie questioned.
" 12x12 inches. Why?" Interrogated Fluttershy.
" No reason, just wondering," Pinkie evaded the question.
" Oh OK," Fluttershy replied.
" Can you believe we got Applejack to get an Xbox?" Pinkie said changing the conversation.
" I didn't know they had Wi-Fi let alone the bits to get an Xbox," Fluttershy replied.
" Wanna play a game?" asked Pinkie Pie.
" Sure," Fluttershy replied glancing at the game Pinkie Pie was playing. She smiled when she noted that Rainbow Dash had given her the game. Fluttershy opened the plastic wrap on the game very slowly savoring every moment of it. She hesitantly opened the Xbox and placed the disc inside waiting for the start up.
Finally, it gave a whir and her Xbox Dashboard turned into a load-up and sponsoring scene.
Let the adventure begin.
