Chapter 2 - Ponyville Exploration

Fluttershy has been tending to Angels wounds for two days now and she forgot to buy food for her animals and herself. She saw Bun about to leave the house for the day again so she stopped him. Fluttershy told him "Um... Bun... if you could... I mean if you’re not busy... could you take some bits and buy some food?" Bun stopped and turned to Fluttershy "Yes... You've done a lot for me. It’s the least I could do..." and Fluttershy said "Thank you. Here is eight bits, this should cover for everything." "Okay. I will be heading out now..." Bun responded.

After Bun left the house and had just entered town, he realized that he did not know where to buy food. He went to the first pony he said. The first pony he saw, which was a purple pony with a purple mane and grapes and a strawberry cutie mark. Bun said "Hi. I'm Bun and I am a friend of fluttershy" the pony responded with "Woo! I must really be out of it if I am seeing talking bunnies." and then she trotted away. Bun thought "Wow... What a strange pony..." Bun then went to talk with another pony. He found a group of three. One had a pink coat with bright green hair. When Bun said hi, the three ponies said "AH! Talking bunny! Everypony panic!" and all three ran off. Bun thought "Wow... They are really rude. I am not that bad... am I?"

As Bun walked and talked to other ponies, most ran away from him or ignored him. Bun was just about to give up hope until a pink pony jumped by and said "Hello! You’re cute. You must be a friend of Fluttershy and Angel." Bun quickly said "Wait! You know Fluttershy?" and the pink pony said "yes! She is my best friend!" Then her happy face changed to shock and she said "Ah! A talking bunny!" and she was about to bolt of when Bun said "Wait! I need your help" and the pink pony stopped and turn around. She then said "Oh! What do you need! I always help friends. That means I also help friends of friends and friends of their friends friends and..." the pink pony rambled on for at least twenty seconds. Finally she finished with "and ponyville needs more maple syrup. Oh! What did you need again Bunny?" Bun exhaled and then said "I need to find a place where I can buy food for Fluttershy and her animals. Do you know of a place?" and the pink pony quickly replied with "Oh! Like sugar cube corner or the market? I know the way! Follow me! We!" and she started jumping away.

On the way there, the pink pony said "You forgot to tell me your name. My name is Pinkamena Diane Pie but most people call me Pinkie Pie or just Pinkie. Now that I think about it everyone calls me Pinkie Pie! Hahaha! Isn't that funny!" Bun shrugged and said "My name is Bun but you can call me Bunny. It sounds nice how you pronounce it." Pinkie Pie responded "It does! Okay Bunny! Bun Bun Bunny Bun Fun! We! You’re so much fun!" then Pinkie Pie started singing. It was a song about how fun it is to say Bun's name. They reached the market as soon as the song ended like it seemed like Pinkie Pie planned ahead. Pinkie Pie said "I don't think the ponies around town would talk to a rabbit. So! I can go buy what Fluttershy wanted. You just tell me what." Bun then responded "I'm not sure. She told me food for her animals and food for herself." Pinkie Pie then said "okie dokie lokie!"

Bun got some carrots, lettuce, and some potatoes for fluttershy. Also he got a bag of pet food. Bun also managed to save one bit due to Pinkie Pie making a deal with one of the sellers. Pinkie and Bun walked back to Fluttershy's cottage. Pinkie Pie told bun "It’s been fun! Let’s meet up together again" and she hopped away singing a song. Bun felt happy to meet another pony friend. Bun entered the cottage and gave the food to Fluttershy. Bun knew what he wanted to do tomorrow. He slept happily even with one of his friends severely injured.
