Agent Tavi and the Assassin of Canary

Fluttershy was dancing her heart out at the club. The drunk mare in front of her kept putting bits in her box. Another drunk mare was at the bar. And she saw a face she had been hoping to avoid. She thrust against the pole hiding her face as the familiar rainbow haired pegasus walked over to a mare in a coat.

Rainbow Dash had made an unfortunate habit of coming to the Canary she was always entranced by the mares up on stage and tonight was no different. She slurs and hiccups "Anotzer...hic....Shpiced cider bar...hic...keep."

The earth pony spoke firmly "sugarcube I think you've had enough tonight."

"Wazzat you called me. Only one pony's able to call me that."

Dash felt two strong arms hoist her up and she then felt the cool wind as she tasted dirt. She struggled up and attempted to fly in a straight line. She came across Fluttershy's home and saw, to her horror, the Rarity and CMC statue. She entered in and went up to Fluttershy's room and saw very lifelike dolls of Pinkie Pie, Zecora, Scootaloo and girls, and finally Rarity. She backed away and became very angry. She rand downstairs she blacked out.

Fluttershy came home after a hard night. Her body was sore but she had earned over three hundred bits. She smiled then that smile became nervous when she saw her home was open. She entered and turned ou the lights to see the words written on the wall.

I know what you did Flutterbitch. You won't get away this time.

Fluttershy fled from the living room and outside. It began raining and she saw a rainbow blur out of the corner of her eye. She ran some more then bucked knocking Dash out of the sky. She walked over to the dazed pegasus and whispered "oh Dashie I'm so sorry. Would you like me to wrap that injury." She then pinned Rainbow Dash to the ground and grinned. "Here let me take you back home." Dash struggled under the surprisingly strong pegasus. She whimpered. Then nothing.

Even the brightest of rainbows fade. Rainbow Dash was found impaled on a branch near the Everfree Forest this morning. Her best friend Fluttershy found her while tending to her animals. She said to police " Oh it was horrible. I was waking up the birds when I felt liquid drip onto me. I looked up and saw her limp lifeless body. Oh by Celestia she was so kind and loyal."

There you have it folks prized Wonderbolt material cut off at the prime of her life. Police chief Axel Foaley had this to say. "The coronary report says miss Dash was drop dead drunk when she died. How she even managed to fly was beyond us." All this reporter has to say is we are sorry to see such a great flyer pass away. We will miss you Rainbow Dash.

Tavi looked at the article. She closed her eyes what was the connection? Then it hit her someone was after the heroes of Equestria. Vinyl had come home last night bruised from a drunk Stallion that hadn't liked her music. Octavia looked at her mare friend and covered her and her changeling pet Wubsy up. She ran outside and ran to Twilight Sparkle's library. A purple dragon opened the door. He looked terrible. She spoke while showing her badge "Agent Octavia of Canterlot secret service. I need to speak with miss Twilight Sparkle."

The bleary eyed dragon grunted and said "Twilight isn't here she went to help Applejack with a problem. She won't be back for at least another hour."

"Well tell her she's in danger someone is after the heroes of Equestria." The door slammed in her face and she left.
