My first story in years, my first ever pony-related story, and unsurprisingly my first story on this site. I've tried my best to make it not too terrible. Constructive feedback would be highly appreciated. Nonconstructive feedback - meh, I welcome it too. Please excuse my appalling attempts to write in the style of the show itself.

Mostly focusing on the Mane 6, although loads of characters make some kind of appearance. The story is, on the whole, about trying to reach a goal that might seem impossible.

The basic premise is inspired by various real-life events. I've tried to follow a vaguely Shakespeare-like five-act structure - not sure if this works or not in this piece. Also, sorry if I'm not the most die-hard fan of the show. I've tried my best to keep everypony in character but if there are deviations, let me know and I'll improve.
