I Have Fairy Godparents!?

The front door flew open as a frowning Scootaloo came in, head hanging low. It was raining hard outside, and Scootaloo fell in a mud puddle on the agonizing way home from school, getting herself drenched in mud and tears.
Everything started to change for the worse for Scootaloo since she entered fourth grade. The teacher of legends, Miss Cheerilee, had taken over role as principle in her school, meaning that the school had gotten a horrible new teacher, Mr. F.
As poor, stressful Scoot made her way to her room, her Dad had stopped her in the kitchen.
“Hi, daughter! How was your first day of school?” He asked, raising his eyebrows. Scootaloo looked up at him with a very unamused face.
“Look at all the mud covering my face, Dad. How do you THINK it went?”
“Uhh... good?”
“IT WENT HORRIBLY!” Scootaloo outraged at her father. He set down the newspaper on the table and looked down at her innocently.
“Aww, what happened, sport? Did you get in a fight? Because if you did, please tell me you beat him.”
“No, Dad,” Scootaloo sighed. “There's a new teacher in school. He's really mean and unfair. We all hate him.”
“Aww, come on, he couldn't be THAT bad.” Scootaloo's Dad said. Scoot suddenly looked up and remembered it like it was an hour ago, because it was.

“Hello, class! I'm Mr. F!” The young, black and white earth pony said.
“Hi, Mr. F.” The class monotonously responded.
“POP QUIZ! What's the capital of Saddle Arabia!?” He yelled.
“Uhhh...”
“Time's up! F's! F's for everypony! Aha! Ahahaha!”

“... It was that bad,” Scootaloo sighed. “If you need me, I'll be up in my room, wondering why the world hates me.”
“A-ha-halright, Sport!” Her Dad said, picking the newspaper back up. Not but thirty seconds later, Scootaloo's Mom trotted into the kitchen.
“Hey, umm, why does Scootaloo look so upset? Did she have a bad first day at school?” She asked. Scootaloo's Dad dropped the newspaper and shifted his eyes toward his wife.
“Scootaloo's home?”

The poor, sad filly was stretched out on her bed, looking up at the ceiling. She was so depressed that her own sadness was patting her on the back.
“Why does this world hate me so much? I just want a normal life.” She said quietly to herself. Just then, bubbles from her goldfish bowl came up and popped, grabbing her attention.
She walked over to the fishbowl, and her two happy goldfish came out of the small castle Scoot had made for them and happily smiled at her.
“Humm...” She sighed. “At least you guys like me.”
“Of course we like you! But could it kill you to wash this bowl? It smells like a dead fish!” One of the fish responded, sticking out his tongue in disgust.
“Sorry, I'll-- YAH!” Scootaloo flinched in horror, flying back to hide under her bed. “Wha... how can you talk!? WHO ARE YOU!?”
The goldfish looked at each other and giggled. Scootaloo's heart was beating at the speed of sound. Even the heart of her heart was beating fast.
“Don't you see, silly?” The female goldfish asked. “We're your...”
Pink and green dust began to swirl magically in the air as the goldfish flew up into the air, beginning to be surrounded by the mist. And then, suddenly, POOF!
“Fairy God Parents!” They finished with gracious style. They had changed into flying, humanoid creatures with Scootaloo on the verge of fainting from fright.
“F-F-Fairy Godparents? Wh-What are th-those?” She nervously said, slowly crawling out from the darkness that was under her bed.
“Well, we are assigned to help kids... er... fillies... that aren't having a good childhood and grant any wish they desire! Oh, sorry, my name's Wanda!”
“And I'm Cosmo!” Cosmo said as he flew over to Scootaloo. “Don't listen to a word she says about me. She's loooooony!”
Nervously and nearly speechless, Scootaloo responded, “uhh... okay. I'm... Scootaloo... hey, wait a sec! did you say 'any wish I want'?”
“That's right, buck-o! Go on, wish for something! Can you make it food while you're at it?” Cosmo encouraged cheerfully.
“Umm... okay. I uhh... I wish I had... a smoothie!”
The two fairies looked at each other with beaming smiles and raised their wands.
“One smoothie, coming up!” Wanda said.
In a sudden poof of magical dust, Scootaloo saw that in front of her was indeed a smoothie, right from her favorite restaurant. She smacked the side of her head with her hoof in astonishment.
“You weren't kidding!” she said, delightfully sipping the cherry deliciousness.
“Of course we weren't! We're fairies! We can wish for whatever we want! Watch!” Cosmo said as he held up his wand again.
In mere seconds Scootaloo was looking at a picture of the Mona Lisa leaning against the wall. She blinked several times and began to laugh as if she was a foal who had just ate chocolate for the first time.
“Wow! I can't wait to tell-”
“No!!!” The fairies interrupted simultaneously. “If you tell anyone you have Fairies, we'll be taken from you! You mustn't tell a soul about this!” Wanda added.
“I don't want to go back home! THERE'S NO GOOD FAST FOOD THERE!” Cosmo roared, nearly knocking the wind out of Scootaloo.
“Why couldn't you just... poof up some fast food?” Scootaloo suggested, rearranging her mane. Cosmo gasped with astonishment.
“What an genius idea! Wanda! Why didn't you think of that for me!?”
“I have told you. At least twelve times.”
“Told me what?”
Their conversation interrupted by the voice of Scootaloo's Dad calling for her with the sound of hoofsteps soon after.
“Oh, Scoooooot!”
“Oh, no! Guys, hide! Hurry!!” Scootaloo said, quickly hiding the smoothie she wished for under her bed.. Cosmo and Wanda quickly poofed back into goldfish as Scootaloo's Dad knocked on the door.
“Due to being your father that interrupts your private time, I have the right to come in even if you don't want me to!” He yelled from the other side of the door.
As he barged in, his smile changed almost instantly to a confused look. “Ehhh, daughter?”
“Yes, Dad?” Scootaloo said, sweating up a storm.
“How'd you get the Mona Lisa in your bedroom?” He asked. Scootaloo glanced back to see the picture sitting on the wall.
“Uh... the internet?” She answered, putting on a lying grin. Her Dad rubbed his chin in deep thought, squinting at Scootaloo.
“Hmm... good enough for me! Just wanted to check on you for no in particular reason other than that I can!” He said as he slammed the door. Scootaloo wiped the sweat from her forehead as the two fairies poofed in front of her once again.
“Whew. Close one.” Scootaloo said.
“Whaaaat? That wasn't a close one! A close one is like that one time we were traveling on the highway in the middle of the desert only three hours after I ate Chicoltle's tacos!” Cosmo said.
“Cosmo, I warned you that 'one does not simply eat Chicoltle on a road trip',” Wanda responded, putting her hands on her hips.
“Yeeeeah, kinda forgot about that. Words of wisdom, Scootaloo. Take them.” Cosmo said as he shivered by simply remembering the incident.
“Anyway... what are ya gonna do now?" Wanda asked.
Scootaloo and Cosmo glanced to an XBox 360 laying on the ground, and then glanced back at each other with grins on their faces.
"VIDEO GAMES!" They cheered in unison as Wanda covered her forehead with her hand.
