Everypony noticed it but it was Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack and Dash who saw what it left behind. Four colts were passed out on the ground, while two more were unconscious lying on some stray clouds. "Oh my," Fluttershy gasped, she and Rainbow flew up to assist the two Pegasi colts to the ground, Dash helped Fluttershy, because she thought she needed it. "Hey, have you noticed something?" Pinkie said abruptly. "What?" Twilight asked her, looking back at her. "They look like us!!!" Pinkie grinned. It was true, the six colts were coloured the same as the mares. Using her magic, Twilight teleported her friends and the unconscious colts back to her house. There they awaited for the stallions to gain consciousness. "Hey Twilight, I wonder what their names are." Pinkie glanced at her lilac friend, Twilight looking back in return. "I'm not sure Pinkie, we'll have to ask them when they wake up." She said blankly, while Rarity made everyone some tea. Rainbow was pacing the room, she was nervous and excited, Fluttershy was panicking but for no real reason. After a few hours, they heard a groan from upstairs. The six mares raced up to see the awakening colts. When they got up to Twilight's room, they all came to a sudden halt running into the mare in front, only to find three colts waking and the other three still out cold. The stallions who were waking up were the ones who looked like Twilight, Pinkie Pie and Dashie. The light pink colt looked up and stared at Pinkie, he looked exactly like Pinkie with two exceptions-he was a boy and had shorter hair. It was the same with the other two colts, as they stared at Twilight and Rainbow Dash. "Hi, my name is Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack." Twilight introduced them to their male company. "Err... uh...I'm Dusk Shine and these are my friends, Bubble Berry, Rainbow Blitz, Butterscotch, Elusive and Applejack." The lilac colt introduced them. Rarity came forward and whispered something into Twilight's ear "The white colt is hawt." She said, not sounding like her usual self "Rarity, that's because he looks like you." Twilight whispered back, "So anyway, how did you get here anyway?" Twilight asked looking back to her male look alike- Dusk Shine, who, not very subtly looked back at Rainbow Blitz, "Well at the time, Rainbow Blitz was doing his 1000th Sonic Rainboom at 11:30 this morning. And then this 'portal' opened, my guess was that it was caused by him breaking the space-time continuum to shreds that must've acted like a vacuum and pulled all seven of us in." Dusk explained. "Wait seven?" Rainbow Dash looked at the lavender unicorn colt strangely. "We only found six of you." At that moment Spike entered with a female dragon that looked like him. "Hi guys, this is Barbara, she was in a bush near the 'explosion area'" he motioned to the female look alike. " Did you say 11:30 in the morning? That was when Rainbow Dash was doing her 1000th Sonic Rainboom! which means-" "Two Sonic Rainbooms in sync has the potential to rip the fabric in the space-time continuum!!!" Twilight and Dusk said in sync. "Wait till I report this to Princess Celestia." Twilight said eagerly, "She's going to want to know of this discovery. Spike, take a letter please." She asked her assistant, who ran over to where the quills and parchment were usually kept and began to write down everything she said. "Dear Princess Celestia, I have made an unbelievable discovery! Two Sonic Rainbooms that happen at the same time can open a vacuum-like portal that lead into parallel universes, in this case a universe mares are colts and vice versa, My friends and I have come face to face with our colt counterparts. You're faithful student, Twilight Sparkle." She finished as Spike wrapped it up, and sent it to the Princess in Canterlot. NextPrincess Celestia's response was a quick one but what was unexpected was that she wanted to the for herself what she had read. She also asked that each mare let one colt stay with them until she arrived next Monday. "So, if you're my colt version you must be like me right?" Twilight asked Dusk as she showed him the guest room. "I guess, but what are you interested in? Just in case." Dusk Shine asked the lavender mare. "Well, I'm very studious, so I like to read, I am also willing to help my friends, I love learning new spells, I can get skeptical when I don't understand something and I also like to spent time with my assistants. What about you?" Twilight asked the stallion, twisting around to look at him, but he looked at her lost for words. "Pretty much the same, thank you for letting me stay here Twilight." He smiled at his mare counterpart and she left him to get settled in. Everybody else was also enjoying their new company as well. "So Barbara, you're Dusk Shine's assistant right? I'm Twilight's. I'm gonna have to go out for a while to get an extra bed for you while you stay here." Spike said walking over to the door. A short while later, Spike came back with a basket with a silky purple cushion in it, complete with a green blanket."Thankyou Spike, it's lovely." Barbara said as he set the basket down next to his own bed. Twilight and Dusk Shine trotted down the staircase, "Hey Spike, Dusk Shine and I are heading over to Sugar Cube Corner. Wanna come?" Twilight asked the baby dragon as she headed for the door, using magic to open it. With a glance at Barbara, who subtly nodded, jumped up and clambered onto Twi's back, and noticed Barb doing the same thing but with Dusk. The two ponies trotted over to S.C Corner, only to be greeted by five pairs of 'identical' ponies-Pinkie and Bubble Berry were the most hyperactive of the bunch. "Pinkie, what's going?" Twilight asked the hyperactive pink pony. "BubbleBerryandImadesomesupersugarysugarcookiesandgotamassivesugarrush!!!" Pinkie said way too fast for anyone to understand "Soweinvitedeveryponyoverfornoparticularreasonexcepttoseehowlongasugarrushlasts!" The pink mare giggled. "Okay, not really sure what you just said, but thanks." Twilight said raising an eyebrow. Rarity's colt version, Elusive, came forward and explained it "I think she's saying that Bubble Berry and her made some sugar cookies and added too much sugar, now they're having a sugar rush." The white stallion, winked at his friend and trotted back over to Rarity. "Er...what...what was that about?" Twilight asked raising both eyebrows, but Dusk let out a sigh-apparently of frustration. "Um..did I offend you, or your friend? I'm sorry if I did." Dusk shifted his gaze over to the lilac mare and smiled, shaking his head. "No, you haven't offended anyone. Whenever Elusive winks like that something weird is going to happen, how he knows I have know idea-it's usually Bubble Berry who knows these things." He said pointedly, and that reminded Twilight of Pinkie's 'Pinkie Sense', and it reminded her just how similar these colts were to them. Later that night, Twilight awoke to the sound of pacing hooves, so, she got out of bed and headed downstairs to see who was making that racket, only to find Dusk Shine pacing nervously, he had mad a 'dint' in the wooden library floor about 1 metre deep. Blinking sleep out of her eyes Twilight continued to watch him for a while before showing herself, "I see you're a late-night pacer too." She said with a small smile. Ignoring her, Dusk jumped out of the large circle in the floor and began to search the library for something. "Is there anything I can help you with? I am a librarian y'know" She asked the lilac colt, who just turned around and levitated a book off a shelf, "No thanks, i'm good." He replied, and trotted outside, the only light-the moon, stars and Dusk's magic aura which glowed bright magenta. Twilight, going into what she called 'stalker mode', followed him, without any artificial light, only relying on the moon for light. Double Rainboom SyndromeIt had been several hours since had started following her colt double, the sun had already started to rise, Twilight came to a halt when she saw Dusk stop near RD's house, where Blitz was staying. Twilight inched closer to hear the squabbling coming from her cyan friend's home. "Hey, just because you're a guy doesn't mean you're better than me!" Rainbow's voice shouted from he cloud home, "Yeah well, I am, so deal with it!" Blitz yelled back. The argument carried on until Dusk called up to his friend, "Hey Blitz, got a minute? It's me, Dusk." The lavender magician waited for a response. There was none. Sighing as he turned away, the rainbow-maned stallion, poked his head through a window, "Hold on Dusk. I'm coming." His maned was even more frizzy than usual, probably from the arguing with Dash. The blue colt jumped down and landed in front of his friend, "You wanted to talk?" He inquired, the unicorn raised his head slightly. "Yes, see this?" The colt asked as he levitated the book in front of him, "This could be our only chance of getting home." He mused turning the pages to a particular page. Twilight could only just make out what it was, there was a diagram on that page, a sonic Rainboom diagram, but there was something strange about it, no...they can't do that one, not yet...Twilight thought hastily. There it was, Twilight erupted from her 'hiding place' and charged straight at the two colts. "A double rainboom? Are you CRAZY?!" She screeched at Dusk, glaring at him. Her colt double stepped back a bit, surprised, before Dash stepped out of her home. "Mind keeping it down guys? the whole town will be up in an hour, you want them up earlier?" She asked briskly. "These two are the same pony! Do you think they'd be able to pull off a Double Rainboom!!!" Twilight continued, apparently not hearing Dash. Blitz and Dash burst out laughing "Twilight, I could do one of those in my sleep!" Rainbow Dash laughed, almost gasping for air, but stopped laughing abruptly. "And we are NOT the same pony, just because he's a guy version of me doesn't mean we're the same!!!" She said wryly, half glaring at the lilac filly. Blitz zipped up into Dash's face "I'd like to see you do that! A rainboom in your sleep, don't make me laugh." He scoffed, which seemed to make Dash really peeved. "Y'know sometimes I make me want to kill myself, and by me I mean you." She said sadistically running a hoof through her multi-hued mane. "But I can't because of the consequences." After the two rainbow maned ponies settled themselves down, Dusk Shine explained his idea.
