There are 4 races of equines in the magical realm of Equestria. The Earth ponies, Unicorns, Pegasi, and the Alicorns. Each race has their own unique powers and responsibilities. The Earth ponies are strong and rely mostly on brute force for work, that is why they usually on things such as agriculture or mining. The Pegasi are quick and agile, their wings make them able to fly and reach supersonic speeds, their job is weather stability. The unicorns are smart and organized, their horns enable them to use magic to levitate objects, teleport, and much more. They deal with economy and order. But their entire civilization would fall if it wasn’t for the Alicorns. They have the combined abilities of all 3 races, which means they are able to fly, use magic and have brute force. The perfect being. There are no records of how many Alicorns exist in the world. There could be a few tens to hundreds of thousands. Their responsibilities are the most important. They need to keep the world stable. Some Alicorns are able to bring the sun and the moon up each morning and evening. They control the tides, the winds, and even the earth itself. The thing that made the Alicorns even more powerful was the fact that they never age, never get ill and never drown or suffocate, making them almost immortal.

There are very few records of Alicorns making contact with the other races, the princesses took advantage of that and made themselves royalty. Thousands of years passed and the princesses were still in power. One day, another Alicorn walked into the palace gates.

The stallion Alicorn walked into the throne room where both princesses were chatting. He had a serious, deadly look on his eyes. Both princesses turned when they sensed his presence. The stallion coat was a dark grey, his spiky mane was black and green, so was his tail, his cutie mark consisted of a world shaped like Equestria. The stallion was a couple of inches taller than Celestia and his horn was about 2 times as large as hers. He started to slowly walk over to her, Luna began to back away, but Celestia stayed still, with the same look as he had.

When both Alicorns were about an inch from each other, the stallion stopped. He still had that stern look in his face. "Celestia." He said.

"Atlas." She responded. "What do you want?"

"You know you can't keep this up forever. Right?" Atlas asked the princess who took a step back.

"I don’t know what you're talking about." She turned her head.

"I've seen your kingdom Tia, I've seen how these ponies adore you and treat you like a god. But I know, you're no god. You're just a liar." Atlas didn’t change his expression.

"How dare you!?" She shouted.

"How dare I? How dare you? How dare you exploit the weak, how dare you make this place into your own little private tea party. These ponies think you're their savior, their leader. You aren't any of that Tia. You have been lying to them for thousands of years. "

"Guards!" Celestia shouted. In a matter of seconds a dozen guards burst through the door and surrounded Atlas. They all pointed their spears at him. Atlas just chuckled and put his head up. His horn began to shine bright white and a shockwave pushed all the guards away, knocking them unconscious. Atlas smiled and looked at Celestia who stood agape.

"I've been doing this way longer than you Tia, do you really think a couple of inferiors would be able to hurt me? You can't beat me." Atlas walked closer to Celestia, she didn’t move, all she did was stare into those expressionless green eyes. When their mussels where nearly touching, he spoke. "I won't hurt you, not now that is. I will give you a chance to redeem yourself, a chance where all you did will be forgiven. I want you to publicly announce to your beloved subjects that you're aren't so powerful as they think, that you are not the omnipotent being that you claim to be, I want you to show them your true colors, Tia. If you do that, you are allowed to keep your empire, your castle, and all of this will just have been a bad dream. But, if refuse my offer, then I will tell them personally, and after they learn that, I will proceed to kill you, just like I should have done all those years ago. I will give you a year to decide what you want to do. Until then, I will be watching." Atlas extended his wings and started to trot to the palace window. He jumped up and began to fly away.

Celestia was staring at the ground, old memories crowded her mind, anger took over. Her eyes became dark green, a purple aura surrounded her horn. She ran to the window and fired a bolt of magic at Atlas. "MY EMPIRE!!!" She screamed as she propelled the beam.

Once Atlas felt the attack, he tried to block it, but wasn’t able. The energy that was contained in the attack was too strong. The evil and the anger that surrounded the attack was overwhelming. Atlas felt his inside burn and his skin boil. He started to feel dizzy. When the pain ended, the stallion fell from the skies. Everything felt so peaceful, Atlas felt like the world was perfect. He felt himself crashing on the water. He looked up and saw the blissful night, all distorted by the water. His eyelids felt heavy. Soon, everything was dark.
