Chapter 1: The start of vacation.

The Start Of Vacation.

Twilight wakes up from the of sleep. When she stands up she stretches. Today is the day her and the others are going to be going to Maylet Island to party on the amazing things that have been going in there lives, "I should get Shinning Armor up so we can head out as soon as we can." Twilight tells her self as she quickly changes into tight jeans and a t-shirt that has 'I love books' on it. As she walks over to Shinning Armor's room and opens the door, "Wake up Shinning Armor." she said smiling seeing he laying on the floor doing push ups. Shinning Armor stands up, "I've been up for about an hour. I was going to wake you up, but I wanted you to sleep. It's going to be a long time till we get to Maylet." he tells Twilight as he slides on a white shirt, "You have to hurry up. They mite not be able to seat us on a ride if you're slow." she added as she starts to get him some cloths for him to wear. Shinning Armor smiles, "Twily it's okay. We have plenty of time. I book us a special plane to the island. I'll just need to make one small call and we can head out whenever we wish. Well before it hits dark." he tells Twilight, "We still have to go and pick up the others. You know how I feel if when we are late." she said in a bit of an angry voice. Shinning Armor just chuckles as she hits him playfully on the shoulder.
"Wait!" Twilight said looking at Shinning Armor, "How will we get everyone. My car can only carry 4 others." she added thinking. Shinning Armor smiles, "Don't worry I have have that cover to." he said walking outside. Twilight follows close after him. Down the stairs, though the living room, and out the front door. When the door opens Twilight looks out to the fresh green grass. As she follows Shinning Armor to a big Jeep, "I made this beautiful Jeep myself." he opens the drivers door and starts it up. It roars loud as it starts up then lowers into a nice steady purr. Shinning Armor gets out and leans on the car, "I made this one with peaces of old Army jeeps and the ones that out of duty." he said rubbing the hood with his hand, "This was the down time we had on the base when we where not running for miles or going after someone." he added smiling. Twilight watches her brother talk about the car he created himself, "Also I made the engine myself." he tells his sister that is taking a step back, "What's wrong?" he asked walking to her. She slightly smiles and tilts her head to the side, "Well if I can remember correctly, when you use to crate your own 'Hand Made' cars. Then engine tents to be..." she stopped watching a sheet of smoke start to seep though out of the hood of the car.
Shinning Armor waited a moment for her to finish her sentence, "Well?" he asked looking back at the jeep that is leaking smoke from the hood, "They tend to do that." she replies with a smiles as she crosses her arms over her chest. Shinning Armor runs over to the drivers seat and turns the car off, then popping the hood off. Walking to the front of the Jeep he opens the hood. A fast rush of warm smoke rushes out into his face. He coughs trying to fan the smoke out of his face with his hands, "Not again!" he said taking a few steps away from the smoke. Twilight stands smiling, "As I said, how are we going to get the others." said tilting her head to the side. Shinning Armor looks at her, "Give me a few minuets and I have it running again as if she was new." he said watching the smoke rise into the air making a pretty thick cloud. Twilight signs and walks back to her room. Before getting to her room she stops at a picture hanging at the wall. The picture is of her and Shinning Armor at the park many years ago, "Shinning Armor you haven't changed much, but no matter what you do you're always my big brother." she said placing her hand on the picture right at under him and smiles.
Twilight makes her way back into her room. She walks over to her closet and opens it, "Shirts, pants. jeans, bras, panties, socks, and a few books. I can't wait till we get going." she said closing her suitcase with a smile. Then she walks over to her bathroom and grabs her toothpaste, mouth wash, and her toothbrush. Walking back to her suitcase Shinning Armor is standing at the door leaning on the frame, "I told you that I could fix it in no time." he said smiling. Twilight smiles back, "If I can reach more then ten feet and not brake down then I will think your starting to get good at it." she said with a little giggle and places her stuff in a hand bag, "Now go and get your stuff and let's go pick up the others. That's if the car can make it." she added giggling and gathering her stuff up then walks over to Shinning Armor. They make the way to the jeep. Shinning Armor grabs her bags and place them in the back, "Who are we picking up first?" Shinning Armor asked jumping into the drivers seat. Twilight make her way into the passenger seat and sits.
Shining Armor starts up the car, hearing the rawr of the engine, Twilight smiles, "It at least started up." she said with a giggle. Shining Armor smiles to her remark and start to back up, "Hey look we went past ten feet." Twilight told Shining Armor in a joking manner. He looks over to her, "I got it running... I would like so see one of your books help pick up the others." he said with a smile knowing he won. Twilight looks out the window, "At lease books down brake down after start up..." she said smiling. Shining Armor mind goes blank finding out his won was shot down. After a few minuets of driving, Twilight kisses Shining Armor on the cheek, "Love you brother!" she said with a happy smile, "Love you to Twily." he replied as he drives the car to the first stopping point.

When Shinning Armor arrives to Pinkie Pies house, Twilight looks over to her brother, "I'll go and get Pinkie. I'm afraid if you have to stop and start this thing up we will be here for a few hours waiting for you to fix it." she said in a chuckling voice. Shining Armor rolls his eyes and sighs, "Fine, I will be waiting here." he replied putting his elbow on the car door and resting his chin in his palm. As Twilight giggles, she opens the door and walks to the front door. When ringing the door bell, a sound from the bushes of the leaves rubbing on each other.
As Twilight looks over to the bushes an alligator jumps out and chews on her leg with it's toothless mouth. When the door opens Pinkie Pie looks down at the green skin reptile, "There you are Gummy!" she said pulling him off of the leg of Twilight, "Sorry about that. We where playing hide and seek. I guess he wondered outside when I was counting." Pinkie Pit said smiling and hugging Gummy. Twilight smiles at her friend hugging her beloved reptile, "Well we are going heading out to the island. Are you ready?" she asked petting her green pet.
"Yay! Let me go and get my bags!" she said running up the stairs and grabbing her two bags sitting on her bed. When running back down, she misses the bottom step, she falls down with one of her bags opening up spilling her cloths on the floor, "Ahhh!" she yells laying on the floor. Twilight quickly runs over to Pinkie and helps her up, "Are you okay?" she asked sitting her up. Pinkie rubs her head some as looks at her bag that split out her cloths, "I'm okay." she said with a smile," I just didn't see that last step." she said when she is picking up her cloths. When her bag is repacked they head to the car, "Am I the first?" Pinkie asked putting her bags in the back of the car. Twilight nods as she opens the door for Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie sits in the back seat, "Hello Shining Armor! It's good to know you didn't get shot out there!" she said with bight smile. Shining Armor looks back to her, "Thank you. I think?" he replied vary puzzled on if it was a good thing or not. When Twilight sits in the passenger seat, Shining Starts to drive, "Who are we picking up next?" he asked as Twilight thinks, "Well Fluttershy is the next closets one." she said pulling out her cell phone to check the time. Shining Armor nods and starts to dive off.
Twilight smiles as looking back to Pinkie Pie, "This is so amazing. Who knew that we would really reach our dreams so fast." she said with a bright smile. Pinkie Pie returns the smile, with her hands on her knees, "I know! It is so AMAZING!!!" she said throwing her hands up into the air. As Shining Armor arrives to Fluttershy's house, just about fifteen minuets away, Twilight jumps out of the car and walks to the front door. She knocks on the door, "Fluttershy, let's get going." she said waiting at the door. After about ten minuets the door opens. Fluttershy is smiling with a small suitcase, "I hope I didn't keep you waiting for to long. I just needed to make sure all of the animals are well feed so they will be good." she said holding the suitcase.
Twilight leads Fluttershy to the car. She opens the back of the Jeep for Fluttershy to put her luggage into the back, "Wait, what will happen when the animals get lonely or finish their food fast?" Twilight asked looking puzzled. Fluttershy places her luggage into the jeep and smiles, "I planed ahead for that. I asked a few workers of they may stop by here now and then to make sure they are well fed and nothing is wrong." she replies to Twilight's question. They make the way to the car doors, Twilight in the passenger seat and Fluttershy sits along side Pinkie. Shining Armor looks over to them, "Two down three more to go. Who is next?" he asked starting to drive off. Twilight thinks, "Well the next closest is Rarity. Just about five minuets that why." Twilight replies pointing down the busy street.
Shining Armor arrives to Rarity house, "When we pick her up, we will need to stop at a gas station to fuel up." he said looking at Twilight. She nods and quickly got out of the car then to the front door. When knocking on the door, "Rarity we are here." she said waiting for a reply. After a few minuets Twilight knocks again, "One minuet!" Rarity yelled from what sound like from the other side of the house. Twilight finally opens the door and walks inside, "Let's go Rarity! We are going to be late. We still need to pick up AppleJack and Rainbowdash. You know how far AJ lives from us. Let's go!" she yelled though house till she makes it to the bedroom. When opening the door she sees Rarity standing in front of a huge mirror.
Twilight looks at Rarity, "Rarity! You should be ready right now!" she yelled loudly at her. Rarity turns around, "I am ready darling. I just wanted to try this dress out to see how it looked before heading out. Don't worry. I wouldn't want to miss this trip for anything. Now excuse me and may you wait outside. I need to change." she told Twilight walking to her cloths that are set out on her bed just under her pillow. Twilight stepped out of the room and closed the door to wait for her. After a few minuets Rarity opens the door and smiles, "Okay Twilight lets get going." she said walking down the stairs to the front door. They leave the house and head to the jeep. Pinkie Pit is half out the car thought the window, "Come on guys! Dashie just called me and said that AJ spent the night at her house so we do not have to dive all the way out to her! So let's get going!" she yelled sliding back into the car.
"O good. If AJ spent the night with Rainbowdash then we can arrive early so we can head out asap." Twilight said smiling. Rarity placed her suitcase into the back of the jeep. Twilight sits back into her seat as Rarity sits on the other side of the car, "Hi Rarity!" Pinkie Pie said with a huge smile. Rarity smiles back, "Hello darling." she reply. Shining Armor looked over at Twilight, "We going to pick up Rainbowdash then off to AppleJacks?" he asked starting the car, "No just go to Rainbowdashs house. AJ spent the night there so we don't have to go all the way out to them." she said with a smile, "Now go." she said smiling.
Rarity moves to behind the drivers seat and placed her head on the seat shoulder, "Hey Shining Armor~. I haven't seen you in a long time. Good to see your still alive." she said with a giggle and an arm wrap around to rest her hand on his chest. Shining Armor looks down at her hand sitting on his chest, "Hum... It is nice to see you to Rarity..." he replied looking back up at the road. Twilight looks over at Rarity, "Rarity you're going to distract him... Sit back down." she told her. Rarity sits down crossing her arms over chest, "Humph... Fine..." she replied to Twilight. Pinkie Pie giggles and leans over to Fluttershy, "Hey Fluttershy, why do you think Rarity likes Shining Armor so much? She does know that him and Cadence are seeing each other..." she asked Fluttershy in a whispered voice. Fluttershy looks back at Rarity, "Maybe she thinks he is cute or something..." she replied to Pinkie Pie as they giggle.
After fifteen minuets of diving, Shining Armor arrived to Rainbowdash's house, "Okay we are here. Go get Rainbowdash and AJ so we can get going." he said looking at Twilight. She gets out and walks to the front door. Applejack opens the door before Twilight got to knock on it, "Hey there Twilight, We where just about to wait out here on the front porch for you. Dashie! They are here!" she yells back into the home. Rainhowdash walks to the door holding both her and Applejack's suitcase. She carries the suitcases to the car, "Thank you sugar cube, I'll get them next time." she tells Rainbowdash, "You better. I'm not going to be your mule the whole time." Rainbowdash replies sitting the back with all the others. Shining Armor looks in the rear view mirror, "Okay, so do we have everyone here?" he asked heading to the airport, "We are all ready to go." Twilight said giving Shining Armor a kiss on the cheek and a bright smile.
