Set in the same Universe as The Weeping Gardens and takes place directly after, but you don't need to read that in order to understand this. There are only a few subtle hints linking the two.


The Doctor's TARDIS malfunctioned. It died, in a sense. The soul of the TARDIS has gone.

And now, the Doctor, Derpy, Twilight and Spike remain in Equestria, just as Jack Harkness makes his way to the Pony-Verse, in order to aide the Doctor in a fight that will surely shake all of Equestria.
