Another bullet went whizing past you,lodging itself into the floor.You felt another bullet hit you in the back,not that it matters though,as the bullet bounces straight off of your armor and by the sounds of it,straight into one of your assailants.You take a quick glance backwards to see how many of them were chasing you.You count five.
You pull out your standart pulse pistol and turn.As soon as you see them you automatically detect and pinpoint the locations of their function chips.Aiming carefully you shoot each of their function chips.Your pulse pistol leaves no marks as its beam passes through the metal hull.As soon as it hits the function chip the shot from the pulse pistol uses just enough electricity to fry the function chip.Five shots is all it takes.You walk over to their lifeless husks.Nothing more than scrap metal now.
As you walk through the corridor you wonder what on earth could have gone wrong.You were supposed to sneak in,destroy the objective and then sneak out again.Silently,undetected.You had been told exactly where to go and which routes to take.Yet those guards had been waiting for you.Had the operation been sabotaged?If so were there more guards waiting?
Not that it mattered.This would be the only chance to destroy the objective before it was relocated.
You were a corridor away from the objective now.Before advancing any further you decided to check yourself incase any of the guards had damaged you.Besides a few scratches everything seemed to be okay.The "Zak-Inc" logo that was on your back before also seemed to be missing.Only minor damage.
Your objective is the newest teleporter prototype.
According to your briefing its difference from regular teleporters is that it can freely teleport the user anywhere whilst regular teleporters can only teleport the user from one teleport module to another.This is the last step of the operation.The blueprints had already been acquired by another AI similar to your design.
Once you get to the entrance of the room containing the prototype you scan the insides for any form of AI.Zero AI detected.Thats strange,you think to yourself.You would think something this big would atleast have a few guards guarding it.After performing a second scan to make sure,you enter.The inside of the room isnt too big.In the corner sits the Prototype teleporter module hooked up to the generator in the middle.
After planting "a few" deadly explosives to the generator and prototype,you set the detonation time for five minutes.These explosives will bring the entire base down.Now to get the heck out.You know fairly well that five minutes is not enough time to get out of the underground base.Which is why you will be using the prototype teleporter to escape.
Once you enter the module you start to enter to coordinates.But after only entering three digits of the coordinates the doors burst open and a dozen heavily armored guards storm in.As soon as they see you they open fire.As quick as possible you punch in random digits.It doesnt matter where you teleport too as long as its away from this place.Once done you push the button to activate the teleporter.
Dozens of bullets bounce of of your armor every second.A few even getting lodged into the armor.You pull out your pulse pistol and try to aim for their function chips.After eight shots you had only managed to take out two of them.The prototype was starting to warp you.After another five shots you had taken out another three of them.Just as you were about to shoot again a bullet hit you in your arm causing your pulse beam to go astray.The stray pulse beam hit one of the explosives on the generator.If a pulse beam were to hit an explosive it would cause it to instantly explode.
For a few seconds nothing happened.
Then it detonated.
When you finally re-booted you found yourself lying somewhere very bright.Your vision was still adjusting to the bright light.Once your vision finally adjusted you realized that you were in a forest of some kind.The first thing you realized is that your left arm was gone.Had it been shot off?Or had it been exposed to the explosion?None of that mattered though as it could be replaced with a new one as soon as you got back to HQ.Your armor had been riddled with bullets and cracked in numerous places.Damaged beyond repair by the looks of it.After removing your armor and tossing it aside you checked to see if you still had your pulse pistol.Surprisingly enough it was still in its holster.
Taking a quick look around you saw there was a few bits of debris lying around the forest floor.The bits of debris must have teleported with you.But,unfortunately,your left arm was no where to be seen.The ground also apeared to be slightly scorched,as if lightning had struck.Trying to stand up was a little tricky but you managed.You decided that it would probably be a good idea to contact HQ and arange for a pickup.You were rather startled when you realized that there was no signal.Where on Earth cant you get a signal from?But,before you could ponder that thought any further you heard some noises coming from a deeper part of the forest.Deciding to invastigate what was causing the sounds you headed towards them.
When you reached the source of the noise,you were -to say the least- rather surprised.A pack of wooden wolves were surrounding six colorful equines.The equines apeared to be talking to each other.Wooden wolves?Colorful talking equines?
Something told you that you werent on Earth anymore.
Not quite sure about what was going on, you decided to help the equines.Pulling out your pulse pistol you took a shot at one of the wooden wolves.The pulse beam went straight into the wolf.Nothing happened.However the wolf must have felt something as he turned and started dashing towards you.Something told you that he didn't want to be friends.The wolf jumped at you.You braced yourself for the impact.But just before he reached you he burst into flames.He didn't even hit the ground.He was just gone.
Upon seeing this the other wooden wolves ran off deeper into the forest.The five equines just stared at you.You wondered if it would be better to just leave instead of- Wait a second, weren't there six of them?The purple one,the white one,the yellow one,the orange one and the light blue one.You could have sworn that there was a pi-
Suddenly you found yourself on the floor with the pink equine on top of you.She seemed to be talking to you although it was bit hard to understand as she was talking at a crazy speed.
"Oh my gosh i can't belive it thanks so much for saving us i thought we were goners when those timber wolves showed up because there were a lot of them but then you showed up and saved us using that thingy of yours" The pink equine said.
"Pinkie get off of it!That thing could be dangerous!" One of the others shouted.
"I don't think so Twilight!I know dangerous when i see it and what i see here is one hundred percent not dangerous."
"Umm.Do mind getting off of me please?" You said.
"Whoopsies.Sorry!" She said as she got off of you.Once she was off you got up and dusted yourself off.Or atleast the best you could with only one arm.
Slowly,the other equines made their way over to you.
"Sorry, but, who exactly are you?" The purple one asked.
"I am TEFDroid Mark five." You said.
"Thats quite a mouthfull of a name yall have got there.Mind if we just call ya Mark?" The orange one said.
"Sure.And if you dont mind me asking who exactly are all of you?"
After finding out all of the ponies names and that they are infact, ponies, you asked them why they were in the forest and why those wooden wolves were attacking them.
"Well you see what happened was-" Twilight started to say but Pinkie Pie cut in;
"Weeell you see we were all having a picnic in a clearing near Fluttershys cottage and Rainbow Dash asked us if we wanted to see some of her new tricks and we all said yes so she was doing these aweeeesome tricks when all of a sudden this lightning bolt apeared out of nowhere which caused her to-"
*Pinkie stoped for a moment to breath*
"-go spiraling out of control into the Everfree forest so we all went to see if she was okay and when we found her she was fine exept her wing was damaged so we started walking back when all of a sudden that pack of Timber wolves showed up and surounded us so Rainbow asked why Twilight couldent just teleport us out but twilight said-"
*She stoped for another breath"
"-that magic doesnt work very well in the deeper parts of the forest and then you showed up and then i was telling you about how we got surounded by the timber wolves!"
At this point you were questioning whether Pinkie Pie was sane or not.
"So, is there anywhere i can get a replacement arm around here?" You asked.
"No i do-WAIT YOU LOST AN ARM!?" said Twilight.
"Shouldent that hurt?" asked Rainbow Dash.
You thought that you heard Fluttershy say something aswell but if she did, you didnt hear it.She seemed to be the most afraid of you.And the others werent even that afraid.
"No it doesnt hurt.It would if i still had my pain inhibitors though.But they were removed a while ago." you said.
"Pain whats?I dont think that we have any spare arms lying around.When we get back to Ponyville i could check my books to see if there is anything about replacing arms.Although i must say that i highly doubt it." said Twilight
You agreed and all seven of you slowly started making your way towards Ponyville.
After some time you found yourselves in a clearing.There was a small but deep looking pond to one side and the other side was just a thick groove of trees.Twilight told you that they were only a little way away from Ponyville now.Suddenly you heard a howling coming from the groove of trees.Turning towards the howling you saw a much larger timber wolf emerge from the groove.
The ponies started to run.You also started to run.You pulled out your pulse pistol whilst running and took a shot at it.The shot rebounded off of it.It was gaining on you.Turning your pulse pistol to the highest setting you took another shot.This one went went straight into the wolf and set him on fire.However unlike the smaller one he didnt combust straight away.He finnaly caught up to you and jumped at you.
Him pushing you caused you to get pushed into the pond.You slowly sank towards the bottom of the pond.You saw him attempt to jump into the pond in a last ditch effort to try to put the fire out.However the timber wolf combusted just before hitting the surface.Your systems started to lockdown as soon as water started to get inside of you.You hoped that somehow they would be able to get you out of here.
