Everypony, fillies and colts laugh at me because I’m still a blank-flank, and my horn is still growing. Dr. Scale says I have a rare horn condition that can damage my horn if I use magic. As an urban myth, once a pony’s horn is destroyed, they die from traumatic injuries from inside your head, but most myths are wrong, at lest I hope so... Still I may be not able to use my magic at all and all the fillies with magic do stuff to me. Once a filly used a levitation spell to make me throw an apple at our teacher, Goldenanpple. Long story short I was placed in intensive care. I may need it though. I’m not a bad pony but when I think of doing something, I HAVE to do it. I seriously didn’t think fire is that fun, so I found the coal in the heater room (the heater adventure was another example) and put it in the Shcool Cafeteria oven. I don’t even want to say what happened. As you can tell, I don’t fit in well. Everypony has parents to talk about or that still take care of them. Me? No. I was found in a box on the corner of Foggy-Bottom Bog road and a dirt road to Ponyville. It saddens me to see Everypony has some pony to take care of them, but no pony cared to keep me or take me, that is untill I independantly aged a bit. I was just a tiny filly, but I remember that some pony requested animal pony containment unit on my little box. Before long I remember a white chariot made in a box like shape. The chariot pulled next to my little box, but so did some mud that splashed on my coat. My blue-purplish coat turned a grimy dark gray and brown. I saw a stallion come out but, then everything went black! I woke up in a metal box that had only one way but blocked with bars! I needed to escape! I rammed into the bars with all my might putting every ounce of strength into my hooves, and something cracked! But it wasn’t the bars… Suddenly, my display of courage ended with a loud scream and muddy, wet, sobbing little pony. I felt pathetic! I flopped down by my hind hooves caving inward. I slivered into my own little dirty ball and pleaded for my hooves to stop aching. I turned to look at my hoof in the corner of my eye, and it looked odd and miss placed. I turned to look at it completely and my cannon was bent in half! Something brownish white stuck way out of my leg! Then soon some red sticky liquid soaked up my wound! I had no clue what was happening, I didn’t even know that white thing or red stuff was in me, much less know what it is. I felt like a total freak! “Trixie, PSSSSSSTTTTTTT!!!! TRIXIE! ” What? I snapped out of my old life to my boring self again. I saw a girl that I know her face, but not her name. She was a popular pony with great friends and a bit as a cutie mark. Her mane was blue and she had a gorgeous coat of silver. From the coat and mane I could tell she was not from Canterlot, but a far state. “Meet me behind the magic slide at recess!” she whispered. I had a gutsy feeling, but ignored it. This maybe the only time I may make a friend. EVER. I glanced back over to the window, then at the clock. Three minutes felt like an eternity! I sat and waited in my class forever! When the horn was sounded, I sprang from my seat, over the pony’s heads and out to the hallway. I poured out into the hallway, and galloped quickly to the back door leading to the playground. I was just 10 hooves away from the door now. Suddenly, I couldn’t control myself, I fell over face first on the hallway floor. I felt like a hundred pounds fell on my inward hooves. My heart raced and my brain trying to register what happened. I heard snickering, and then it hit me. I was in the up most attention and it was so embarrassing. Some ponies must have tripped me. Oh no! Not now, not when I was waiting to meet my friend! OH MY GOD! What if she saw me like this, or the colt of my dreams(Fat chance he'd know me?!? I clumsily opened my eye lids and peered off in from of me. Sure enough there was THAT pony. The one in my nightmares. Light colored purple coat, blue mane, and the horrifying cutie mark of a dress. (T)he (f)ashion (p)olice. “Ha ha, girls look what we have here he he!” She spoke. Mira is her name, the ring leader. I readied my legs and pushed up to get up, but one behind me shoved her hooves into my hip and I fell backwards. Now about to cry through how embarrassing and how weak and useless I felt. The one who pushed me spoke up “looks like Trixie, the blank flank! Ha ha, what should we do to her?” I weakly yelped “nothing! Leave me alone!!!” Mira spoke in a mocking manner “Ohhh I see the twerp wants us to leave her alone eh? Girls, two bits say you can’t scribble a mustache on her face.” I squirmed but the other two ponies held my hooves. I was a like a fruit wanting to be picked but the stem won’t budge. I saw an evil grin on the pony with the marker. She had a curly mane with glitter all in it and a fancy set of shoes. Her evil grin made it look like a big scary clown is actually funny. I felt the cool wet sharp feel of the marker brushing my face. A rat was being made on my face, and I just sat there like a big idiot! Everypony was laughing and taunting me! It was so humiliating! “Ok girls I owe you two bits each, and for her, well… we have something else planed for her soon he he! Tah, tah Trixie, hope you love your new facial feature!” Mira snorted, and then she and her posse galloped away. I felt immediate pressure release on my hooves, but just sat there catching up on my breathing. I heard a faint roar in the audience that grew louder. “Trixie, Trixie, Lunamoon! You’re such a freaky little loon. Trixie, Trixie, Lunamoon! You’re such a freaky little loon.” I heard these taunts and I wanted to cry, but instead I bottled it up and galloped hard out the door to the magic slide where my only friend was awaiting. I sped up and jumped over the log dividing the park and the outside world. I then braked and slid behind the slide. “Hello Trixie” Sounded a voice familiar. I stood there behind the slide while a figure immerse out of the shadows further under the building of the playground. I called out “Hello? Are you here?” “HAHA HA, why yes Trixie it’s nice to meet you!” The pony staggered out of the darkness and was indeed confirmed the pony in my classroom. “I’m so glad you decided to be my friend!” I spoke with glistening eyes and hope. “Me, you’re friend? Ha you’re joking, please... Oh I see you met up with my friend Mira, and why would I be friends with your creepy face? Hold her down girls!” A Dark TredI stood there behind the slide while a figure stalked immense out from the shadows further under the building of the playground. I called out “Hello? Are you here?” “HAHA HA, why yes, Trixie it’s nice to meet you!” The pony glided out of the darkness and was indeed confirmed the pony in my classroom. “I’m so glad you decided to be my friend!” I spoke with glistening eyes and hope. “Me, you’re friend? Ha you’re joking, please... Oh I see you met up with my friend Mira, and why would I be friends with your creepy face? Hold her down girls!” My eyes went cold and small. I stood there silent, scarred, and betrayed. I felt a warm drop of salty water slide off my nose and trickled onto my muzzle. “How could you!” I barked as one pony grabbed my right hooves. “How could I what? Hrm? Ohhh, now I see; you wanted me to be your only friend.” She spoke with a smirk. “You know… you’re a pathetic creature, I almost felt sad for you.” She remarked, and came closer. “I’m not the pathetic one!” I shouted in disgust. The other pony grabbed my left hooves. The two ponies both pulled me back. “Ha, so I’m the pathetic one now? Let me get this straight; I have parents that care about me, I have a cutie mark, and I wasn't abandoned by my true parents. I’m pathetic? You’re mistaken,” She snapped back at me, then commanded her friends to tie me onto the slide. The two goons held me against the slide before I knew what was happening. I stayed silent. It was pointless… I am pathetic, I do live in a backroom shop, and I don’t have parents. I didn’t know what she was going to do to me, but I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be short or painless. The filly's words still echoed relentlessly in my brain, bouncing around helplessly. I had already known these things... but out loud... in the open... it hurt... that much more. The next thing I knew I was bound. The rope cut across my chest, holding me tight against the cold slide, the slide that brought so much joy during the day would be the table during my torture. Screaming wouldn’t help... I was pathetic... no one would hear... I’m not worth it... but that didn’t stop my pulse that was hammering against my temples and chest. The filly with the bit on her flank reached down and took a hoof full of dirt from the ground. She moved closer and I tried to squirm my way out, but I couldn’t do crap! I made the mistake of looking at her. That smile; it scared me. I felt like the headless horse had nothing on her; she was like tenfold more horrifying than the devil himself. She was right in my face now. She was like a ninja; I didn’t even hear her move. I didn’t know her next move, but I was paying Celestia my last dues. “Trixie, you’re such a freak. Why do you even show your face here?” She then stomped on my hoof. “AW—“I exclaimed, was soon stopped by the two other ponies who tied me up. Suddenly, the pony with the bit cutie mark shoved the dirt into my mouth! “Eat this you trashy slob! Go back to where you came from, Freak!” The pony mocked. “mhan- gamhar!” I tried to speak, but couldn’t with all the dirt in my mouth. It tasted awful, like sand that crunches on your teeth. “Look, filly, either eat the dirt, or stay there forever!” She starred at me hard with a menacing look. I gagged, but I had half the dirt down now. It really wasn’t much different then the food I get. I don’t know why; I guess some ponies are nice and leave food out in a can for me. Finally, I swallowed the last chunk. “I don’t have time so I’m outta here. Girls you know how to handle her. Ohhh, and for your sake Trixie, stay away from me and never forget this name: Amanda,” She teased, and then she galloped off hard. I gagged a little and felt sweaty. The ponies who tied me up quickly untied me and galloped off. I wasn’t going to let her get off so easy now; I sprinted towards one pony who tied me up. She had a yellow coat and promising blue eyes, like the devil. Handsome, but fearsome, is the devil. I grabbed her by the tail, and she and I both landed hard on the grass. Fear swarmed into her eyes. I quickly shoved my hoof into her mouth. Sure enough, a really quiet yelp released. “If I remove my hoof you won’t scream, right?” She nodded her head, yes. “Ok, but if you scream, I will hurt you.” I removed my hoof and sat there, watching her breathe. Sitting filly to filly felt great, like she was a friend. I never experience that before. It felt great! Although, she was, the filly I hated the most besides apparently Amanda. She looked scared and jumpy. Her breathing slowed and eased into regular breathing. “I-I… I had to.” She spoke with sorrow. “I had to or else…” She shuddered. I tried my straight face, but a small frown crept onto my muzzle. I had known where this was going; she must have been forced to by Amanda. “Amanda forces us to do stuff,” She said with ease, but yet also sorrow. I thought for a little bit… I couldn’t decide what to do. I’m not a leader, and I’m not that smart. I thought for a long disturbing five seconds. Nothing. “If you speak of this, you’ll regret it!” I told her half heartedly. “Now run.” I spoke sharply. I figured before lunch is called, I should go and clean up. I ran my hooves under the cold water of the sink. Whispers flooded my ears, but all I heard were faint whispers. This spiked my curiosity. As do, I have a problem with just letting mysterious things go. I left the sink water running for less suspicion and trotted over to the side of the stall, standing on two hooves to make sure I wasn’t seen. I gulped in a deep breath to hold myself in as tight as possible. Words slowly became clearer with every second of air released. My lungs felt like a vacuumed sac, like those cleaning bags. My head swam, but I hear the words now. “That was a close one!” Spoke softly a familiar voice. My curiosity now was now its peak; I didn’t know who, but I could hear movement of eight hooves. There were two ponies in the stall. Now I HAD to know what was going on. “I can’t believe that stupid Trixie filly actually fell for it!” Another voice said snidely. “GASP!” Slipped out of my muzzle, as I realized who those ponies were now… Out ColdI ran my hooves under the cold water of the sink. Suddenly a burst of colorful light surged into my eyes. Rainbow spectrums blinding me, but yet I insisted to purge forward. I tried to move forward, but I wasn’t in control. A shivered ran down my spine, and moved my front hoof to see it so it would reassure me that this was reality. Stunned, I couldn’t move at all! I was in utter darkness, nothing like reality at all. Time shifting, light bending, no movement, and worst yet, has just begun. A film of color and shapes danced all over my field of vision, and then they all connected. They formed an image. The image was me. Only I wasn’t me, I was younger me. Then, everything played, like a movie clip. I could tell where I was! I was right in the animal control vehicle, and then a shard of pain shook through my hind leg… Memory slowly fading back to me, I realize I had just rammed into the cage locket. My vision scanned randomly, but I couldn’t control it. My vision slowly gazed upon my cannon, covered in blood and still to be known a long cylinder with a brownish tint. My coat spread swelling around the open wound. Uncontrollably my gaze fell to the cage door. My vision slowly dissolved, like mist breaking apart. Suddenly, like as if I was torn from space and placed in a new area, I found myself leaning on an old building. It was dark out and the chill of the humid night made my coat matted and damp. It was so cold... so unbearably cold. Yet, my hind leg was on fire with a burning sensation of immense pain. Without my permission my young body stammered and limped down the alley. It looked familiar… I just… couldn’t put my hoof on it. The pain kept stinging, but I couldn’t turn my head to look or cry out, I just had to suffer… The night chill breezed through my mane. It felt amazing, but the nagging pain in my leg kept making me lose focus. I just wanted to drop on the stone brick road and curl up and die. I limped to a dumpster, and leaned on it, relaxing my body. The cold metal of the dumpster cooled my body, but my leg still felt hot. I started trotting toward a place that would be fit to sleep at. My eyelids felt like the sandpony gave no mercy. I slowly inched closer to an alley with a load of garbage bags that looked like a really good pillow. Suddenly my leg caved in, though I wasn’t actually in my past life, I felt the pain. I wanted to scream my lungs out, but of course my luck would be that the animal control car would have came back and found I had fell out of my crate. Soon after I scrambled onto my hooves, my body got unusually hot. I was burning up all over my body, the pain was gone, but the surge of hotness was unspeakable. My stomach started rumbling, and well… I won’t speak of what happened next… The smell was awful, like a rotten apple… avoiding the smell, I found a nice shell of bags. I hesitated, but then found a comfy spot. I limped up the mountain of garbage bags, and triumphantly sat on the softest looking bag. Oddly, it smelt really good. For once I thought I understood clean freaks. I stretched my horrifyingly leg out to rest on a broken bench. It felt great to rest my leg, but I couldn’t stay awake long… Slowly my eyelids closed and I was into the sleep realm… Though I wasn’t in control of my young body, I just stared into empty darkness. For what seemed like eternity, I finally awoke. Even though I was a street pony, sleeping on a pile of bags, I felt great when I woke up. I just realized that my leg didn’t hurt anymore. I did a quick 360 scan around. Sure enough; was not where I fell asleep at! I was in a alley, yes, but I wasn’t where I really was… I was on the stone right next to a wooden fence. Something tugged my flank! I jumped backwards to see the mysterious tug. … Nothing was behind me. I thought maybe I’m going insane? I did another look around, but only found a dumpster, and a crate as well as an opening to escape to if I needed. I waited a few more seconds… Nothing. Then I realized I was weighed down, but it was hard to tell because I was still sitting. I scanned my head to look down from my shoulders to my plot… I was wearing a purple cape. Though it did look nice, I quickly took it off. Holding the cape with two hooves, I pulled it into my vision. I followed every crease and fold on it, then I stumbled into a yellow slip of paper. I literally jumped up, and for a split second, I swear I tasted a cloud. I fell back to where I was, but it looked only an inch or two away from where I launched. Something wasn’t right… I was standing fine on my bad leg. I stiffened myself and turned to look at my blue tinted leg. Everything was the same before the time I pushed it hard in the wrong way in that animal control truck. This broke my tiny heart, to know I looked so much like a rat fest that animal control took me in. My leg was pristine and better than before! Actually, come to think of it, my leg looked clean… I checked the rest of my body. All of it was clean, even my blue-purple mane. I looked like an actual pony again! I jumped with joy this time. Though I may have looked like a fool, I literally beamed with glee. This was the first time I have ever seen myself as a filly without dirt, or grim on me. I settled down after about three minutes of just playing around with my clean body. I got really close to the note, but I already knew I couldn’t read. Now I know what it means, But the symbols back then I described as “Celestia has answered your prayers.” I pulled the cape back to me and put it back on; I thought at least this will give me warmth. Out Cold Part 2I pulled on my new cape, but it was missing something. Maybe something besides just the blue cloth, but of course I was used to not worrying about the small things. Survival was my mission, and I will never give up! I started a slow trot out the alley way onto the sidewalk of the dirt and stone road. My destination was to find an area to live off of, but I guess I am just new at the whole traveling thing. I’m used to living in a tiny rotting box. I followed the sidewalk passing several ponies who just glared at me like I was in their territory. I kind of was, but I was just passing by. There were some nice looking ponies, like one that was kind of grayish and had a nice symbol on her flank. I liked her look, but she was more interested in her companion, a white pony, with shades. I galloped a little with a skip, but then I saw it. In a window of a shop, I saw the most amazing thing… A perfect shade of blue to match my cape, and a few stars, that made this hat stand out. I stared at it with envy. I never had wanted anything but to know I can see tomorrow, but this… I didn’t want, I needed. Though I am not a pony for design that hat was a gem! I stood on my two hind legs, not paying attention to the fact that my hind leg was working fine again, and stretched my front legs to rest my hooves on the glass pane of the shop. I drooled over that hat. I would kill for a hat with the power that one showed. I quickly ran to the door and nudged it open to go into the shop. One the door was opened; I raced over to the glorious hat. I stopped dead when I stood right in front of it. My heart just melted looking at it. I stood on my hind legs again and reached my hooves up to it, then took it into my hooves down to my level. I propped it onto my mane, and it fit almost perfectly, but slid just a little down to stop at my tiny horn. A smile crept onto my muzzle as long as I had it on. Then after first bliss, I started to trot out the store door, when a salesmare stopped me. “That will be twenty bits” The salesmare spoke, while gritting her teeth to me. “W-what is b-bits?” I asked horrified. “Look kid, you got twenty bits or not?” She snapped even more enraged if possible. I frowned and then mouthed “no” kind of choking on sadness. She then ripped the hat off my head and then shoved her hooves on my rump to push me to the door. “OUT!” she said coldly, with disgusted written all over her face. I pulled my head down, and slowly inched out of the store. Now, with all new low, I sauntered on the side lines of the road, going to nowhere. Somehow, I ended up next to the train station of the town. I still was sad, but as right now, still along for the ride, I knew that one of the best things would happen next… Here it was. “Hey” spoke an unfamiliar, and kind of silly, voice. I turned my head to gaze upon the speaker. I saw the same happy friendly face. A gray Pegasus with blond hair stood to the side of me. The pony looked like a filly, but I could be wrong. She was young, maybe young enough to be my age. “Names Ditzy, but you can call me… Derpy” She said, then lowered her head and spoke again “Everypony does…” I turned my head to look full on at her, and I saw her warm smile. She turned to look at me now, but I missed something, her eyes were not straight. “Hey.” I spoke in reply. She shuffled a bit, and then looked interested, then not so much. Her face was an array of emotions all in one, but it did not seem to mix well, and I couldn’t begin to imagine what she was thinking. “Hey, um, well…” She stumbled for words. She blushed then tried to speak again. “I saw you a while ago, and I wanted to say hi…” She said almost sadly. “Well, now is your chance.” “Well, I just want a friend, and you looked like you are about my age…” I thought a bit, then realized I had noticed a gray splotch a lot after I left that alley way. “I wanted to become your friend… I don’t mean to sound weird, but I don’t have many friends, and you look like a nice filly…” “Why thanks, I don’t know what to say really, I am quite flattered.” Nopony ever told me I looked nice, or even cared to know me. I wonder what was going on? “Well, I guess we can be friends?!” I spoke, but cracked my voice at “friends”. Derpy then cast a bright smile on her muzzle and then her eyes began to water up. For a second her eyes were in sync, and then they went back to the last position. “T-than-k you, for being my frwend” Derpy spoke, and cracked even more than I did, then a tear streaked her face. I didn’t know how to feel or how to act; this was a total new experience. I felt like I just discovered the meaning of life itself. “I have a gift, for you… I wanted it, but you can have it. It is the best I can do for a friend right now.” Derpy continued speaking, but I was a sentence behind. She spoke in a weird manor, but I have no problem with that. Derpy turned around, and tugged something in her mouth, then turned back to me. She blushed then laid it next to me. “There you go!” Derpy said with her head upward with a look of triumph in her face. I studied it; it was brownish and wrapped in a foil of some sort. I wondered whether I should pull the foil off, or leave it on. I didn’t understand it. A few seconds later I poked it with my hoof and it squished inward and fluffed itself back out. “Thanks?” I said as gratitude to the “gift”. “Hrm? You are supposed to peel the wrapping off first!” Derpy replied with a little laugh. “Ok?!” I nonchalantly said, but entertained by pulling the wrap off the object. “Bahaha! It’s a muffin; you’re supposed to eat it. Trust me, they are really good!” I looked confused, then nibbled off a chunk with my teeth, then swallowed. I had a little feeling that I should have not eaten it, because that this pony really mysteriously wanted to be my friend. Some ponies are not as good as they look. It tasted extraordinary, with a flavor of bananas in it, and the creamy light feel of bread soft on your tongue. I felt like I was going to drool. I whipped my head down, feeling the tug of my cape and ignored it, and chomped a mouthful of the “muffin”. Once when my teeth split the soft bread, I stopped all motion and my eyes drifted upward to see Derpy. Derpy was fondly entertained, and curiously asked “Is it any good? I know I like them, but do you?”. I sort of nodded and then swallowed hard leaving just a little bit of crumbs where the muffin was. “It was amazing! I truly loved it!” I replied cheerfully. “Wait hold on, you have some crumbs on your cheek, let me get that for you.” She said with a tilt of her head. She reached her front hoof out to my cheek, and I felt like my face was burning, and I hope it wasn’t a noticeable blush. Lightly scrapes of her hoof made the crumbs fall off my face. I then thanked Derpy when she stopped. “ALL ABOARD!!!” yelled a pony in a checkered shirt and an overall. “Well, this is my train, I have to go to my mom’s house in Los Pegasus.” “I don’t have anywhere to go could I come along?” I questioned A look of excitement came over her face, but something was wrong. My vision was bending… Everything was distorting and then it split into two or three images. Finally everything disintegrated, leaving nothing but complete, utter darkness.

Hold her down girls!”
A Dark TredI stood there behind the slide while a figure stalked immense out from the shadows further under the building of the playground. “GASP!” Slipped out of my muzzle, as I realized who those ponies were now…

Now I HAD to know what was going on. “I can’t believe that stupid Trixie filly actually fell for it!” Another voice said snidely. “GASP!” Slipped out of my muzzle, as I realized who those ponies were now… Just then, I heard a loud “POP”, everything slowed down… as if time itself was bending to match the rhythm of my heart beat… I felt so… relaxed?
