Will you Be my wing pony?
It was a bright summer morning in Ponyville as Celestia shined her sun above the beautiful town of Ponyville. Rainbow Dash was soaring through the air, a large smile engraved across her face.
"It has always been my dream to be a wonderbolt." She thought to herself. "and now I am a wonderbolt. Can this day get any better?" She came to conclusions, as she began too move several clouds out of the skies that were not supposed to be there.
after clearing the clouds out in mir minutes, Rainbow Dash smiled at her work and began to gaze around. "Nice work noobie-" Rainbow Dash turned too see Spitfire behind her who had been watching her work.
Rainbow Dash gasped and saluted the way a wonderbolt should always due, too there commanding officer. "Spitfire Ma'am." Spit fire just floated closer, and removed her hoof from her fore head.
"At ease noobie, you don't have to do that all the time." Spitfire advised her, for she had huge respects for Rainbow Dash ever since her, and soaring made her a wonderbolt.
Rainbow Dash blushed with embarrassment. "Sorry ma;am. I'm still new at this." Spitfire just smiled and responded in the way all wonderbolts due to new recruits.
"Like I said at ease, your one of us now remember that." Spitfire reminded her, before taking off like a rocket leaving Rainbow Dash alone in the sky.
"I maybe a Wonderbolt, but I still feel like a new recruit. Hmmm" she thought to herself, before coming up with a solution, revealing that it could have been because Lightning Thunder became lead pony at the time.
It had to be, for she injured her wing, and nearly demolished her friends at the time. Even though she became a Wonderbolt, it was as if she was just given the space for free without any intentions of actually earning it herself by hard work.
After flying continuously throughout the skies, Rainbow Dash than looked down and spotted a familiar green Pegasus, with wings out, walking through the Ponyville streets.
Just the sight of the Stallion made Rainbow grin evilly. "Ah my prey has arrived for a pouncin" she said with delight as she soared after as quietly as possible while using the clouds to screen her movement.
As soon as the stallion grew suspicions, he glared upwards scanning the skies, only too find nothin in the process. Rainbow hid herself well in the clouds, while the stallion was searching around.
After taking a quick peak the stallions continues onwards, through the ponyville streets. "Your good," Rainbow Dash commented with an evil grin, and at one point she charged towards the Stallion, but just before she was about to pounce the Stallion leaped into the sky and pounced onto her back. "But I'm better.." He finished off smirking before getting off her.
This was a surprising site for Rainbow Dash, usually it is her that pounces him and not the other way around. "Whoa! It's supposed to be me pouncing your!" she said stunned getting back on all 4 hoofs, the stallion just continued to smirk, before walking off.
"Well looks like we're even kid." Rainbow Dash after clearing her mane with some dirt she blocked the Stallion's path hovering right in front of him.
"Well, well well, Rivera I can see that your starting to know my moves now." Rainbow Dash asked with a little smile. "Hey, you've been pouncin my Ass, for almost 2 years already, some one had to do somethin about, and now finally at last we're even." Rivera commented, as he passed her, only too stop for something in her mane caught his interest.
"Hey what's that thing?" Rivera asked focusing his eyes on a badge of the Wonderbolts that she got, while she was at the Academy. At one point Rainbow was looking confused.
"What thing?" she asked hopping to receive more details on his question. Rivera than pointed a hoof at her mane, "That thing on your hair, near your ear."
Rainbow finally realized what he was talking about, and answered. "Oh, that's my Wonderbolt badge, I just got it 2 weeks ago, after joining the Wonderbolt Academy." Rivera just raised an eye.
"Wonder-What?" he asked in even more confusion, than Rainbow Dash ever was. Hearing that response made Dashie very surprised. "Haven't you heard of the Wonderbolts before?"
Rivera just gave a sign representing that him Godzilla, and Israel were never from Equestria, in which caused some sense to flow into her head.
"Oh right," Rainbow than starts too pat Rivera's head repeatedly. "Looks like I got a lot to teach you tough Monster, and our first lesson will be the Wonderbolts." "Oookay?" Rivera replied now even more confused, than before.
"The Wonderbolts are a squad of Pegasus ponies who perform aerial acrobatics and demonstrations, for other Ponies." She started off while Rivera was listening as carful as possible.
"It's always been my dream to join them, and so I did 2 weeks ago. Wonderbolts act like Equestria's aerial military, and would sometimes protect Equestria if needed. This was proved when Spike was out there demanding gifts from every pony and he became a giant monster." "I See..." Rivera said looking at her, less interested.
"It was great, although I did kill myself a bit while trying to get in due to some mare, who nearly thrashed my friends." she than added on sitting right infront of him.
After taking a deep breath she continues speaking. "But I try not to think about it." "Yea I can tell" Rivera said tryin not to say words that can cause trouble or be considered offensive.
Rainbow just took a deep breath and replied "Yea," in agreement, which would later be followed by complete silence between the Stallion, and Mare.
Rivera would be however the first one to break the silence between the two. "Hey you a part of the Wonderbolts now as a Trainee you should be proud." Rainbow just smiled feeling a little better from her current horrifying memories when she first entered the academy.
"There that's better tough mare," Rivera said with a chuckle before walking away. Rainbow glare and blocked his path again. "Hey only I can say that tough monster." She said while playful pointing a hoof at his nose.
"Well I can't help it, if I'm always right." Rivera said walking around the hoverin cyan pegasus, and continued on down the road ahead.
As Rivera was about to vanish into the crowd of ponies, Rainbow Dash took one glimpse at the sky, and notice spitfire, fling past at fast speed, just than an idea popped in her head.
Within seconds Rivera found the face of Rainbow Dash for a third time, blocking his path. "If you think that I'm going to take back what I said about me being right, than you've got another thing coming." Rivera said chuckling a bit.
Rainbow Dash just was staring with a cute puppy face that was starting to creep him out. "Okay that's just F**kin creepy." Rivera muttered backin a way a bit.
"Rivera your perfect," She begins too fly around him at fast speed get him dizzy, while he felt her insoectin him all over, from wings too hoovs. "Your wings, always being out, your strong hoof boots, and your black suit, and mask." "What are you talkin about?" Rivera demanding now looking even more nervous than ever.
Finally Rainbow Dash flew back infront of Rivera's face, with a large grin. "you wanna be in the Wonderbolts with me?" She asked hopping that he would say yes.
Rivera's eyes widened at the sound of that and responded "Pass," as he continued trotting off, but Rainbow just kept blocking his path. "Oh come on Rivera, you'll love it, you can be my wing Pony." Rainbow added on thinking that she convince Rivera this way.
"Wing what?!" Rivera said raisin an eye. "A wing pony is a wingman, that is always by the side of the lead pony who is pretty much in charge. They are pretty much partners." Rainbow Dash explained, as best as she could while twiddling her hoofs.
Rivera just gave her look of concern. "Listen kid, I appreciate the offer, but at my age I'm not interested, ask Godzilla, maybe he'll wanna do a couple of tricks in the skies above Equestria." Rainbow blocked Rivera, one last time, and picked out of her head her wings pony badge, showing it to Rivera himself.
"If you join you can receive this," Rivera was about to get annoyed, until he looked at the shinny badge. "Ooooh shinny" he said while attempting to reach only for it to be taken away by Rainbow Dash, who is now smirking.
"But you can only receive it when you join." Rivera glare, but eventually was turned back into his usually wow face when Rainbow Dash revealed the badge again. "So will you be my wing pony." Rainbow asked again. "No!" Rivera snapped again, only too be tormented by the badge a 3rd, time.
Rainbow Dash was now grinning evily, now knowing that she has Rivera now. "Well?" she asked again. Rivera finally gave in while still eying the badge. "Ah I guess it won't hurt."
Rainbow Dash sky rocketed into the air over joyed, to hear those words. Rivera just watched while raising an eye again. It wasn't long before she descended, with cheeks red. "Sorry about that, Come ON!!" She said grabbing his hoof and yanking him towards the Academay.
