Cassidy led Sarah to their new apartment. It was about a five minutes’ walk from Sugar Cube Corner. They now lived in apartment 3B, a small, two bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen. Cassidy had already gotten acquainted with modern pony life, so she was used to something like this. But Sarah hadn’t seen anything like this apartment before in her life. She stared around the room in awe.

“Sister, where is the light coming from?” She asked. Cassidy pointed up towards the ceiling.

“Up there. Those are called light bulbs. They produce light using something called electricity that is hidden within the walls.”

“They burn so much brighter than candles.”

“And they last a lot longer as well.”

“And this home, ‘tis ours now? We need not a suitor or parent?”

“That is correct, Sarah. You may do whatever you please now. I won’t even give you a bedtime.” Cassidy yawned. “Though after the day we’ve had, I think I might go to bed soon.”

Sarah wandered around the apartment more. She opened up the refrigerator and jumped back at the sudden breeze of cool air that came from within. “Windigo!”

Cassidy quick ran over to her. “No sister, that’s a refrigerator. It stores cold within itself so that we may preserve food inside of it.”

Sarah stared in awe at the fridge. “Amazing…” She said. “Are there more wonders such as this?”

“There are many wonders to be found here, Sarah. I will show you them all in the morning.” Cassidy led Sarah to her room and tucked her into her new bed. “Sleep tight my dear sister, tomorrow begins our new life.” She left and climbed into her own bed.

Sarah stayed awake though. She was trying to take in all that was happening. She had now left her parents and the only life she had ever known for that of her sisters. The life she was now living had always been frowned upon where she lived. Her parents had always told her that Pinkamena Diane was evil and that she lived with the evil. But Pinkamena Diane doesn’t seem that evil. Weird, yes, but not evil. And this world was filled with wonders that she could not begin to comprehend as well. Could it be that her parents had lied to her?

Rainbow Dash opened her eyes slowly. She instantly felt hooves wrapped around her body. She looked to the side and saw that Pinkie was hugging the cyan Pegasus in her sleep with a smile on her face. Rainbow smiled as she slowly slipped out of Pinkie’s grasped and made her way downstairs, her legs still shaking from the experience she just had. She poured herself a glass of milk.

“Rainbow,” Mrs. Cake said from behind her.

“Mrs. Cake? What are you doing up? It’s three in the morning.”

“I just got done changing the twins.” She smirked. “Did you two have fun?”

Rainbow spit her milk out. “How’d you know?”

“Well dearie, you weren’t very secret about it.”

The cyan mare blushed. “Were we really that loud?”

“I’m just glad Pumpkin and Pound aren’t old enough to remember any of it.”

Rainbow’s face turned even redder. “Sorry…”

“Trust me dearie, you weren’t nearly as loud as Carrot and I were our first time. We got complaints from every other resident in the hotel we were at.” This caused a laugh from Rainbow Dash. “Yeah. Now I suggest you go get back into bed before Pinkie wakes up.”

“Why?”

“Because there’s no better feeling than waking up after your first night of passion and seeing your lover still there with you.” She looked up and smiled as if remembering her own experiences. “Take good care of her, Rainbow.”

“I promise.” Rainbow said confidently as she walked back up to Pinkie’s room. Pinkie was still asleep in her bed. Quietly Rainbow Dash slipped back into Pinkie’s grasp and wrapped her own hooves around her as well. “I love you.” She whispered as she gave the pink mare a quick kiss on her lips. Tears fell out of Rainbow’s eyes. “I just wish I didn’t have to betray you.”

Trixie laid back blissfully in her cart on the soft pillows she kept for her to sleep on. She was flat on her back with a magazine hovering above her head and one hoof in a very private area. “Damn you’re hot, Spitfire…” Trixie moaned as she pleasured herself to the obscene material floating above her. When she was finished she put the magazine away and sighed. “Another lonely night…”

The blue showmare’s live had been nothing but lonely. She spent the better part of her life traveling across Equestria putting on a show for whoever would pay her. Her showoff personality caused many ponies to not want her friendship. And as a consequence she could never find the companionship she so desired. She couldn’t even scrap together the money to hire a whore with her budget.

“But soon that will change.” Trixie said merrily. “And maybe…perhaps The Great and Powerful Trixie…will finally have a friend…”
