Wings of Hope
My name is BlazingSkies. I am an ordinary pegasus. I have a darker lavender coat, a silver dotted goldish mane, two fast wings, sky-blue irises, and a cutiemark of a golden feather inside a flame. I am basically your average pegasus. I love to fly, play with my pet wolf,Fang, hang out with my friends AquaWave, Sour Sweetie Belle, BriarHeart, Emolta, WonderLight, and Elisif. I have a loving Super-Special-Somepony, BlaciousBlair or just Blair for short. I always went out of my way to help others. I am always kind and thoughtful. Almost everyday was a routine for me. Get up, shower, eat, clear the skies, hangout somewhere, eat lunch, goof off, eat dinner, settle down, and go to sleep. Everyday was like that....until one day.
It all starts on a warm sunny day in Ponyville. I woke up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "6:00 A.M. is not a good time to wake up." I grumbled lazily, heaving myself out of my warm cloud bed. I stumbled sleepily over to my shower to get ready for clearing the sky. I turned on the warm water and stepped in, letting it soak my mane and coat. As I got ready, I suddenly remembered a very important detail. "It's my birthday!" I grinned as wide as my mouth would let me. Fluttering a few inches off of the ground, I gave an excited twirl with the flap of my wings. I hurriedly finished showering, hardly able to contain my excitement. I flew outside and zoomed around in a circle, drying off her coat and mane and tail. As I dried off, I created a mini tornado. "Oops." I smiled a sheepish grin, glad that nopony saw my excitement since most everypony was still asleep. "I can't have a tornado on my birthday, now can I?" I flicked my tail like a whip, and the tornado broke apart. As I chuckled to herself, I headed off to clear the skies.
When I reached the heart of Ponyville, I saw that the skies were already all clear, except for a single, fluffy, white cumulus cloud in the exact middle of the town. As I flew up to investigate, I saw that the cloud had a blueish tint to it. "Now how in Equestria did a cloud get to be blue?" I spoke softly to myself. Suddenly, AquaWave popped out holding a cupcake, looking like she'd burst. " HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAZE!!" She shouted, giving me a rib crushing bear hug. " H-hi Aqua..." I stuttered, forcing the words out. " Would you....mind...letting..go?C-can't breathe." She backed off and I took an enormous gulp of air, as if I had never breathed air before. "Oh, sorry Blaze," She grinned, holding out the cupcake. " I'm just excited that it's finally your birthday!" " Yeah, I could tell Miss Crush-Your-Friend-On-Her-Birthday!" I retorted back, teasingly. Aqua smiled and handed me the cupcake. " Here Blaze, I had Pinkie make it special for you." As she handed me the cupcake, I knew that this was a very thoughtful gift from Aqua. It was a purple cupcake with a single candy feather at the top,and the icing looked like actual fire. It was my cutiemark on the very top of the cupcake. " Oh Aqua! This is amazing! The work on my cutiemark is exquisite! This must've taken forever! I won't eat it now, only because I want to take a picture of it!" Aqua pulled out a camera. " I thought you would say that." She snapped a picture and I bit into the cupcake. It was better than any of Pinkie's creations. It tasted like the sweetest berries with the creamiest ice cream, while maintaining a cake's moistness. In short, it was like Rainbow Dash did a sonic rainboom in my mouth. As I scarfed down the rest of the cupcake, Aqua took my arm. " C'mon Blaze! You have off today and I want you to have the best birthday ever!"
