Roanoak is home to many, many ponies and every single one has a story to tell. And we try to make sure they all get a chance to be told.

But sometimes these stories wind up taking everypony who comes into contact with them for a bit of an adventure. And for the little filly Akasa, her story managed to embroil not only the crown of Roanoak, but also one of the royal sisters of Equestria and Twilight and her friends…

Indeed. Twilight and her friends, emissaries from Equestria, have been in Roanoak for some time to examine the Leylands north of the empire. They have been granted housing for the duration of their stay by the crown of Roanoak, and, in their way, assist as they can. Twilight, for example, has somewhat taken over the library in town and spends her free time tutoring foals in the magical arts.

And that is where our story begins…
