The Clone

A lonely pink mare stood deep in the shadows of the Everfree Forest. All she wanted was to be able to have fun with all her friends. She used a hidden magical mirror pond to make clones of herself to be all over the town; and cover every single bit of fun that would be had in the small town of Ponyville. Things went horribly wrong, as the clones became obsessed with having fun. The clones ended up causing trouble for the townsfolk. Her friends gathered up all the Pinkie's and used a test to send off all the fake ones, all but one.
That is where I come in; I did not get gathered up with all the others. After Pinkie starting taking all the clones out of the forest I stayed behind. While jumping around the forest I got caught by some timber wolves and got severely injured. I have been recovering outside the town with a zebra by the name of Zecora. I told her what happened and she agreed to let me stay, seeing as I became more "regular" than any of the other clones. This is only where the story begins though, as I begin to fall in love...

Pinkie Pie
Pinkie stood behind the counter of the local bakery selling various baked goods to the townsfolk. She greeted them and exchanged chat about when the next time they may need a party, or how much closer their birthdays were. Though every conversation was different, each one of them left the counter with a smile on their face. The pink mare was glad no one had thought less of her after her fiasco the other week, which she still thought about. Her mind always wandered and wondered if she was the actual Pinkie, if she would be living her life as a lie. It a very disturbing thought of living her life as a lie, but she decided she could not think that way. There were no other Pinkies around so she had to do her best to be the best Pinkie she could be.
As she waved off another smiling customer her boss, Mr. Cake, had told her she could go for the day. This was great news for Pinkie, because she was no longer restricted by the counter to how many ponies she could make smile. Leaping out from behind the counter Pinkie went out to start her day, but she did not know what she was going to discover today.

Clone Pinkie Pie
“You know what we must do today, instead of keeping you locked away?” Zecora said, giving a serious look towards a familiar pink mare.
“Of course I know what I am going to do today! It’s going to be the best day ever! I will get to meet so many ponies, make lots of friends, and I might even get to meet myself! I’m so excited I could burst!” Pinkie said, jumping excitedly around Zecora’s hut.
“Indeed Pinkie that is what we have planned, but you must focus on the task at hand.”
“I know,” Pinkie said sadly, glancing towards the forest, “if I misbehave they may send me back into the mirror pond.”
Zecora walked up to Pinkie and wrapped a hoof around her neck, “I for one would hate to see you go, but the other ponies must know.”
Pinkie smiled as Zecora began to walk down the path from her hut, and Pinkie was bouncing right behind her.

Pinkie Pie
Pinkie leaped carelessly around the town, waving to ponies as she passed by. She would never grow tired of seeing her friends, and making new friends, and making friends for her new friends.
“Hmmm, today is Tuesday so Zecora should be coming into town again,” Pinkie thought out loud, before abruptly stopping in her tracks and letting out a loud gasp.
“I just remembered something very important! I need to find Zecora right away!” Pinkie shouted in an excited and somewhat panicked state.
Pinkie was just about to bolt off when she ran abruptly into a purple unicorn.
“ohhhh.. Pinkie watch where you're going.” Twilight grumbled, rubbing her head and picking back up the book she was carrying with her magic.
“I’m super duper looper sorry Twilight! I just remembered something REALLY important and I was really in a hurry.”
“It’s alright Pinkie. Just what is so important that you’re in a rush anyways?”
“Well I was just hopping around, and then I realised that I never threw Zecora a party once she became my friend! And how is she going to be friends with everypony when she hasn’t had a party with everypony in Ponyville!”
“Pinkie you don’t need to throw Zecora a party, she—”
“Of course she needs a party Twilight! And who else in ponyville to throw her a party but Pinkie Pie! I need to find Zecora now, I will see you at the party Twilight!” Pinkie said, rushing off before hearing the rest of her friends words.
Twilight let out a deep sigh before continuing on her way.

Clone Pinkie Pie
“Ponyville we now approach, be wary of actions that may reproach,” Zecora said warningly towards Pinkie as they exited the forest.
Pinkie simply nodded as she grinned from ear to ear. Excitement seemed to flow out of her as she looked upon the town. Her new home.
“It would be wise if you stayed close, if I side with you they will not oppose.” Zecora said happily as she looked over to where Pinkie should have been, but she was not.
The last Zecora saw of her was the pink blur that headed towards town.
Pinkie could not help but to try and indulge herself into her new environment, besides the last few days she had been stuck in a scary old forest. Now there were many more ponies for her to interact with and have fun with, and she had no idea where to begin. There were all sorts of things here she would not have imagined doing out in the forest, and she wanted to do all of it: The games, the food, and most importantly the parties.
Pinkie was just about to bounce right into the town when she noticed another pink mare heading in the other direction. She quickly hid behind a nearby cart and watched as she saw herself bounce by. The real Pinkie did not seem to notice her, but she hid a bit longer just to make sure.
“Well if I am going that way, then I should be able to go this way!” Pinkie said as she jumped into town, the opposite direction that her former self was going.
As Pinkie was bouncing along the path into some of the more crowded places in town, she noticed a little colt crying next to some ice cream on the ground. Pinkie immediately halted her advance into the town and went to investigate.
“Hello there, why are you so sad?” Pinkie said sympathetically towards the colt.
“I dropped my ice cream,” He said tearfully, before continuing to cry.
Pinkie knew she wanted to do something to help him, but she did not know what to do! She just arrived into town and did not know where she could get ice cream; nor did she have the bits to pay for it. She would have to come up with another way to make the colt happy... But what could she do?
“Well how about we... play a game?” Pinkie said as she gave a nervous smile towards the crying colt.
“What kind of game?” He sniffled as he got up from the ground.
Good, I’m making progress! Pinkie thought excitedly as the colt looked away from the dropped ice cream.
Pinkie snuck up right next to him and poked him right in the middle of his chest with her hoof.
“You’re it!” She shouted as she skipped away from the colt.
“Hey that’s not fair! You never said we were gonna play tag!” The colt ran towards Pinkie in an attempt to tag her back.
Pinkie and the colt ran around for awhile playing their makeshift game of tag between the two of them. After she was fully satisfied that he had forgotten about the ice cream, she admitted defeat to the young colt and went along her way.
That was... Fun! She thought, as she walked away from the happy colt on his way back home.
