In the deepest reaches of the farthest corners of Equestria lies a land forgotten by time and most of pony-kind itself. A place of legend, said to be filled with an unspeakable amount of treasure waiting for a brave adventurer to come and claim it as their own. Mare`Derado, the lost city of gold. Many ponys have attempted this quest of both mind and body.Some for the treasure, some for the fame, and others for satisfaction. However this is the tale of two individuals. Two ponys Mare and Stallion. One of might and one of magic. One born seeker of fortune, and the other of fame. This is the story of Rift and Navi. Rift is the older of the two, a strong proud mare. Confident in his ability and is an avid and well known seeker of fortune. Hes not one much for talking but can more than hold his own if the need comes. The other, Navi has a special gift. Magic. She is a unicorn, pretty much the only one of her kind for hundreds of miles. With all her magic comes yet another special talent, HER special talent. She possess an unnatural gift of direction. She never seems to get lost and usually can navigate the two out of most of the problems Rift cant solve with force. (Navi = Navigate get over it.) They come from Two of the many tribes that are scattered across the regions, Rift from the most well known and prominent of all of them, The Strong-mane Clan. A tribe that focuses on the idea of brute force, having lived with the clan his entire life Rift has adopted some of these ideas and teachings. Some. They ended up being his reason for leaving everything behind. His family, Friends, Everything. After hearing of his decision the rest of the clan pursued him with the intent of simply returning him to his home.This is where our story begins......

How did i manage to get myself into a situation like this? I was what? Some fifty feet outside of our boundaries and now i seem to be surrounded by virtually every freaking guard in the village. And now guess what? they're coming closer with what im pretty sure is an intent to capture. They were getting REALLY close. But then the strangest thing happened, a massive green bolt of lightning dropped in front of everyone. This of course terrified all the ignorant magic fearing ponys away. I couldn't do anything but stand there in shook of what just happened. it was a few minutes before i got a hold of myself and began to walk off. No point in attempting to go home now. I was just a few feet from where the bolt dropped when i heard a small voice coming from underneath the base of large tree in front of me Filly~ "Ge-Get away from me!" she squeaked. She was young? What was a filly this small doing out in this part of the woods by herself? He thought to himself. Rift~ "What are you do-" his heart stopped. She had a horn. He knew what this had meant. Unlike most of his tribe Rift took the time to learn about local folklore and such. But a Unicorn? His people believed they didn't even exist in these parts. Rift~ "What are you doing out here by yourself?" Filly~ "I-I don't know, stay away from me!" Rift~ Calm down, I'm not going to touch you, Just you shouldn't be out here. This place is dangerous." He tried to sound as gentle as possible, he wasn't about to leave her here alone in the cold mountains where they had lived. Navi~ "W-who are you, why haven't you gone yet?" Rift~ "*Sigh, My name is Rift, and, There is no way im going to leave you here by yourself. If you'd like a fire and some food id suggest you come with me." She was still trembling, whether it be the cold or her terror. She hesitated for a moment and then rose off of the ground. She was definitely scared that was for sure, but there was something i saw in her eyes as she rose. Was it Guilt? We had just arrived back at my little "camp". If you could call it that. It wasn't that much more than a fire, a packed pile of leaves and branches that served as my bed, and a small pile of berries i stored in the knot of a nearby tree. She had seen the fire and immediately ran towards it with astounding speed. She turned and looked at me with a massive smile seeming to thank me for what little i had done for her. It didn't last long, after a short glance she slunked down and whatever feelings of gratitude shown on her face seconds ago were now gone, replaced with a dreary frown and what i think was the start of a tear. I was confused at first but then i struck me, almost literally. The green bolt of magic that had caused me to become an outcast was nearly the same color as her braided mane. I hesitated asking but the words ended up slipping out. Rift ~ "Have you by any chance,....Seen me before? Maybe surrounded by a group of other ponys with grey manes?" It came out a bit harsher than i intended it to be. Filly ~ I-I saw you being attack by some bigger ponys. They looked really angry, and i thought they were going to hurt you." Hurt me? Why would she care? I don't even.... Rift ~ "What concern is it to you what happens to me?" Filly ~ I-I've kinda been following you since you left your...." Rift ~ "Home?" Filly ~ "Yes, Home. Ive been following you.." She hunkered down "Eating your... scraps." Ive had this strange feeling somethings been following me, but this...myth following me was beyond the idea of it just being a small animal. Filly ~ " So when i saw you in trouble i was scared that my food source would end."
~Filly~Filly ~ "I'm...sorry...for following you sir. I'll leave now." I turned and walked away wearing a frown. Rift ~" Horseapples... HEY, kid come back here. Come have some food, real food this time." He waved his hoof in my direction beckoning me to come. Something wasn't right. Why was he helping me? Better yet how could he be so calm now? He was almost trembling with frustration just a few seconds ago. But hey who am I to question some actual food, its been....weeks? I don't even remember anymore.

Chapter 2 (New Beginnings)
~Rift~
The little "unicorn", (as i learned what she was) had been staying with me at my camp for maybe two days now. We had got to talking and I learned her name, Navi. She said she was from the base of the mountains, somewhere my Clan never never dared go. The entire area was covered with some deep fog that scared even the eldest of my kin. We had seen pony's go in, and as far as we were concerned they never came back out. She claimed an entire village of them used to lived there. But one part of her story caught my interest. "Used to lived there." Where were they now? And better yet why wasn't she with them? I had yet to ask her, So why not now? Rift~ "Hey, Navi?" She looked up from her little bowl of soup. Navi~ "Hmmm?" Rift~ " A while ago when you were telling me about your valley, you said you used to live there, Where did you go?" She hesitated for a moment almost dropping her bowl of soup. Navi~ " Oh....um." Rift~" Navi, whats wrong?”
~Navi~
I can’t believe I even mentioned my home to...to this....savior of mine. Navi~ “Rift *Sigh* I haven't exactly been honest with you.” Why was i doing this? Why was i about to tell this... stranger my secret? I mean i am grateful for what he has provided me with, but this... I couldn't help but stare glumly into the ground. Navi~ " Rift, I'm not the little innocent filly i appear to be." With that my horn glowed and i began to slowly return up to my normal size. Rift~ "Navi...?" Navi~ "Hehe, yes it's still me." Rift~ "W-what are..." Navi~ " Rift.....just sit down. There's a lot of explaining i have to do".
They spoke for hours Navi explaining her true past to Rift, And Rift doing his best to wrap his mind around the information being fed to him. Rift~ “You’re the only unicorn of your tribe?” Navi~ “ Probably the entire region actually...” Rift~ “Wheres your tribe, why were you out here? Better yet why were you out here disguised as a filly? Navi~ “About that.... you see i kinda am a bit new at uh, magic. I kinda burnt down the majority of my village with... Well the same thing i saved you with.” Rift~ “ SAVED, you nearly fried me to a crisp.” Navi~ “ Haha, yeah about that, I had been alone in those woods for a while, and well. When you burn down a village, people usually come after you, so I figured i might change what i look like make it hard for them to find me.” Rift~.....So you made your self look like a younger you? That was supposed to keep them from finding you? Navi~ “Now that you mention it, that does sound like a horrible idea. But hey, why am i complaining i found you? Didn’t I?” At least now I have someone to travel with.” Rift~” Travel? what are you talking about? Navi~ “Oh well...i figured that since your no longer welcome back at your home you wouldn't mind traveling with me.” She said that maintaining a massive grin looking like she was pleading for him to come.

What in Grey-Manes going on here? What is this ludicrous pony proposing? But then again...There seemed to be some alluring factor to the idea of adventure. In fact it hasn't been until that odd mark on my flank appeared since my last adventure. I hesitated answering her but something about this...mare just wouldn't let say no to her. Rift~ “Well, Its not like i have anywhere else to be. At least anymore.” I couldn't help but look up grinning when i saw her face light up, I've never seen anypony more excited than this before. She ran to me and hugged me, it didn't last long she couldn't hold still she was bouncing around overjoyed she wouldn't have to spend another day alone in these unforgiving mountains. Rift~ “So uh, where did you have in mind?” She glanced over for a second having had her giddy little spurt of energy suddenly cut short. Navi~ “ Oh yeah, here follow me there's something i want to show you.” And with that we were off. Me setting out on my first adventure in years with this mythical mare.

I cant believe it. He’s actually coming with me. Honestly I'm still surprised hes let me stay with him at his camp, he even fed me, he...took care of me. Someone i stalked for food, and lied to. And somehow after all of that hes just looked the other way, and has now agreed to come with me. I took to a place i had found during my days of aimless wandering, it seemed to be some big stone wall covered in writing i couldn't read. When we arrived there Rift simply looked up in awe, he was absolutely dumbstruck. Rift~ “Navi...what is that?” Navi~”Hehe, pretty amazing isn't it? I found it during my uh wanderings.” Rift~” Navi, this is amazing, but what does it mean?” Navi~ “Well i don't really have an idea, in fact i was hoping you could take a look at it.” Rift~ “ Oh um, I guess i could look.....Um Navi I think i might know what this is.” Did i just hear right? He might actually know what this massive monolith might say. Navi~ “Are you serious?!” Rift~ “Well yes and no. I recognize this writing its some really old kind of writing from my tribe. Bad news i cant discern what it actually means. Navi~ “Well...then wouldn't that mean your tribe would have some kind of old book with translations or at least some clue to what this could mean?” Rift~ “What are you proposing?” I couldn't help but snicker Navi~ “ Well i figured a strong colt like yourself wouldn't have ANY problem retrieving a book.” Rift~ “ Navi, I'm banished i cant go back. If anyone saw me they’d...well i don't know what they’d do, But I’d rather not find out.” Navi~ “ Well who says they would see you? Id imagine it wouldn't be that difficult for a talented one such as you to sneak in and grab a book.” He sighed. Rift~ “ You know i have a feeling you’ll be talking me into worse things a lot in the coming future.” Navi~ “So you’ll do it? Our first adventure!” Rift~ “We’ll shall we head out then?” Navi~ “Lets.”

It was done they had decided on a course of action. They were to head back to Rifts home and search for some kind of book to help them translate the mysterious stone Navi found. It seemed like a simple enough task, hidden under the cover of darkness Rift would enter in from the same hole he used when he was a foal to get a peak at the area outside of his village. After a little while of further planning they had worked out most of the problems they could think of. Well so they thought...
~Rift~
Rift~ “So you’re sure this will work?” Navi~”Nope.” she said that with a awkward lack of concern. I shot her a quick look of annoyance, she just smiled and assured me that if anything went wrong she would jump in and cause a distraction. Something told me that she REALLY wanted something to go wrong just so she could have her big moment, kinda worried me a bit. Navi~ “ Well, lets hope that our luck continues and everything goes according to plan.” Rift~” Luck? I don't need luck.” I couldn't help but feel a little eager, I grinned to myself and began the short walk to the entry point. But as i started to walk away i could of sworn i heard her whisper something. Navi~”...Be careful Rift...” It was probably nothing.
As he approached the hole it was still there, just as it has always been those many years ago, for the most part unchanged. But something was a little different about it this time, or well something was different about Rift. He was easily three times the size of the hole. Not a chance he’s be able to fit through. He sat back and hesitated for a moment having seen their entire plan fall apart before it even began. He looked around for any other obvious entrance. Rift~” No way I'm getting in here. There has to be another way inside....” It took him only a few moments to realize how close he had actually been to the main entrance of his home. The village had been there for many generations and during that time an impressive stone wall had arisen around its perimeter. This of course prevented any direct access from the outside. That is if it wernt for the main gate that lead to the outside of the village were Rift lived. Convenient. If it wernt for the large amount of pony's patrolling the entrance. Could he slip past them? Not yet he had an idea. it involved a little bit of Navi magic. Navi~ ”Oh i hope hes alright. I cant stand this waiting.” There was a small ruffle in the bushes and sure enough emerged Rift wearing a nervous grin. Navi~” It was really that easy? You were only gone maybe 10 minutes?” Rift~” Yeah about that. I seem to have um, outgrown the tunnel. BUT i have a better idea. Navi, I need you to make me look like a filly.” Navi~ “WHAT? why?” Rift~ “ Well i figure id be a whole lot harder to spot if i didn't look like the pictures of me saying. BANISHED~DO NOT ALLOW ON PREMISES.” Navi~ “What exactly are you planning?” Rift~ “Well...I figured id just walk right through the main entrance.” Navi~ “Ok.” Rift~ “Wow is it really that easy to convince you?” Navi~ “Eeyup.” and with that the spell was cast. There was a brief flash of light and it was done. Navi~ “ Awwww, you’re sooo cute.” He just grumbled. Rift~ “Now if you’ll excuse me i have a mission to do.” His voice had also changed along with his appearance, it was now young and squeaky. Navi~ “Awwwwww.” He couldn't get out of there any faster. He made his way to the entrance, outside stood two tall stallions. Show time. He trotted up and passed between the two of them. The guards gave a quick glance but other than that didn't seem to care. Rift thought to himself “That was easy.” He could see his home not that far up ahead. It was that brown unimpressive house at the end of the path. He was lucky he lived where he did, it was just far enough away form the rest of the houses that he was able to enter without anyone noticing. He walked inside and looked around for a moment reminiscing of his memory's of living here. He couldn't help but let out a sigh. He grabbed the book from the shelf and proceeded to exit. Something caught his attention on his way out. A Picture. He trotted up to it and looked at it with confusion. It was a picture of a family. He turned as a mare stared at him. A Younger Blue mare she stood there in confusion as stared at the little intruder. Rift hesitated and ran. The mare just stood there watching him run off. Rift knew that pony all to well. It was his sister, Gate.

Running. Running. It was all he could do, she had seen him. Even worse she had enough time to recognize him. Before he bolted out the door he turned and stared, all he could see was the shock and disappointment in her eyes. It stung, deep. The only way to fight the growing emotions was to run. So that's what he did he ran away from her a second time. Others saw him, any hint of subtlety was now lost. His tiny legs that were part of the disguise had slowed down his normally unmatched sprint. He was slow. Apparently slow enough for some of the patrolling guards to get a good enough look at him. Some began pursuing others just stood there in confusion to why they were about to chase a little filly. They soon enough shrugged it off a trespasser was a trespasser after all. Rift couldn't look back he needed all the speed he could manage, even if he did look back it wouldn't matter he could FEEL how close they were to him. Guard~ “ Stop running your just-” Everyone stopped, Rift, the guard, everyone. There was a massive forest green cloud of smoke rising from outside the village. It gave Rift the opportunity to slip away from the guard, he was running again, just a few more feet..... FWOOSH. Something had swooped down and lifted him off of the ground. Rift looked up only to have his gaze met with one Milky white eye and Burning crimson one to match. He recognized this one. It was none other than Chieftain Hurricane, their rainbow maned leader. As far their people were concerned he was the only pony capable of flight, much like Navi with magic. But Magic was feared among the bulk of his people, and so it was commonly associated with destruction and sickness. No one really seemed to mind that Hurricane had wings, in fact most thought it made him a higher being hence him being the villages chief. But then something strange happened he began to fly lower, and lower until he was on the ground. In front of Navi. He released Rift from his jaw and said Hurricane~ " Rift, im not sure why your like this or why you are with this mare you are traveling with. But that book...Hmm I believe i recall using it for the same reason im guessing you need it for. Would it be the Bryers Stone?". Rift~ "Th-the what?" Ironically Rift was terrified, however Navi seemed completely unfazed by the massive stallion standing before them. Navi~ " Is that the big stone wall in the middle of the forest? Because if it is we really need that book." Hurricane~ " Hmmm, So be it. But I ask you one thing. Rift, when your adventure with this book has finished i need you to return here." Rift~ " Um, but sir..." Hurricane~ "Please, magic one change him back, i cant take him seriously like this." Navi~ " Yes sir." And with another flash Rift was returned to his normal form. Rift~ " Anyway.... Chieftain, arnt i banished?" Hurricane~ "Hmmm, yes well after my little meeting with this magic one here, I think i might be able clear our...misunderstanding." Rift~ " Meeting sir?" Hurricane~ " Oh yes, not long after i saw you enter the main gate i flew outside and saw your friend here. And well she was quite the....Talker. She had told me why she was here, but failed to mention that she had turned you into a filly, or that you two were together." Both gave a quick glance at Navi. She just smiled sheepishly. Hurricane~ " You two are about to set foot on a journey that will change both of your lives. So i do suggest that you two be heading out now. Oh and here comes the village guards." With that he flew off of the ground and back to the village leaving guards in his wake. Navi~ "Shall I?" Rift~ "Please." And with those words a massive cloud of green smoke appeared. Rift and Navi were ran back into the depths of the forest heading to their newly named destination, The Bryers Stone. They ran until the guards decided to give up the chase, they wernt actually that far from the stone. Navi~ " So what do you think could be on that stone? Seems pretty important." Rift~ " Not sure, but didn't Hurricane say that he used this book before, you know back in his adventurer days?" Navi~ "I think he did, Hey? How long has he been around?" Rift~ " I'm not sure, he just sorta showed up one day when i was a filly, he lead us to victory against a massive griffin invasion awhile back, and well, one thing lead to another and he was made chief." Navi~ "OH, Were here." Navi's face lit up at the sight of the massive monolith. Navi~ "Open the book! Open the book!" Rift did as he was told. But then something strange happened. When the book was removed from Rift's saddlebags It glowed and eerie green and floated to the wall. It burst open pages flying followed by a bright light. When they could finally see they both gasped. The wall was now written in a language they were actually capable of understanding. Navi walked up and picked the book from the ground placing it off to the side. She proceeded to read off the newly legible writing. Wall~ " Adventurers who have deciphered this code. I am the Bryers Wall. I alone hold the secret to the destination of the Ancient City of Gold Mare`Derado. If you wish to proceed on this quest please step into the light." With those words a small circle of light appeared in the center of wall. Rift~ " Shall we?" Navi~ " Let's".

?~ “ Oh my? What do we have here? Curious, its been ages since my last visitor. And now just like before two ponies have entered my domain, except this time things will end a little....different. Well lets not leave them waiting eh?” There was no response. ?~” Hmm good point friend. We should have a little, fun with them first. Hmmm what to do what to do, Oh I know!” And with the snap of his finger (or claw) a small ball of light appeared. Immediately it began spastic flying around the space of its creator. ?~ “ Oh settle down, I have a task for you.” The ball had ceased all movement and was now hovering in front of its master. ?~ “ I need you to go introduce yourself to our little friends down there.” The being was grinning and pointing its claw down. The glimmering object made a short hum and descended through the oddly colored pink clouds to the mismatched landscape below.

Rift~ “Where are we?” Jeez we've been in this place for a few seconds and the only thing on his mind is where we are. Well, then again..... now I'm curious. Navi~ “ I'm not sure but, OH MY! Look at that! Look over there!” This place was insane! Nothing about it made any sense. There were mountains of fire coming up from the ground, Trees flipped upside down, their roots coming up while their leaves and branches were buried. Massive blobs of what I'm assuming was water just floating hundreds of feet in the air. OH and best of all were the clouds. They were a bright fluffy pink, and in some places it looked like rain. But something was a bit off about it? It had a strange brown tint to it, Before i knew it i was walking towards the mysterious liquid, I couldn't help but stick my tongue out to see what it really was. Navi~ “ I-It’s Chocolate? It’s Chocolate!” Rift~ “ What are you talkin about?” Navi~ “The rain! Its made of chocolate!” Rift~ “Rain? What are you talking about? I can hardly see through all the sunlight.” I looked up, but there was no sun visible anywhere just miles upon miles of pink clouds. Navi~ “ Rift? What are you talking about? Theres no sun in sight?”
~Rift~
Was she crazy? I almost couldn't see ten feet in front of me the sun was reflecting off of all of this sand. The whole area was like this, dry, bleak, and no sign of any “Chocolate Rain”. Rift~ “ Navi you cant be serious? Were in the middle of a dessert. Theres no rain, Theres no clouds.” Navi~ “Dessert? Look i don't know were we are but there's no way this is a dessert. I do you not see the fire coming up from the ground? Or the those weird tree things?” Somethings not right here. Theres no way she can be hallucinating she was fine a second ago, but now, all this talk of chocolate rain. Its just crazy, Insane.

Hmm its been centuries since I've last had somepony to play with. The last two *Shudders* they wernt that fun. No much too serious, Not fun at all. But these two... They seem different, younger, more spirited. Unlike that rainbow mained fool and his companion, much to serious. Strange i haven't felt anger since the last time they were here. Best not to think about them anymore. ?~ “ Oh be quite you...you insolent FOOL. Crazy? Insane? WHO are YOU calling insane?” Yes, right the task at hand these...intruders....That little ball should be causing some havoc right about now. ?~ “Hehe, lets go check in our guests.” Simple enough procedure. All these infinite years of absolute isolation allowing me learn how to control this world I reside in. Just a little pinch and, there. Simple as tearing a hole in the sky and watching them.Hmm looks like our little friend still hasn't arrived. ?~ “ I wounder who i should cast the illusion on, Hmm yes, the colt. He seems like a fine target.” After a quick trip through his memories (One of the many perks of being a being an all powerful being of magic) he reminded me of that rainbow pegasus those many centuries ago. Oh how i despise him. ?~ “All the more reason to take my anger out on you my little pony.” All these millennium alone here and for the first time i heard a bit of sternness in my voice. Strange. It seems these ponies always bring out the worst in me. Oh looks like our little friend has arrived. Well here we go. Simple as the snap of a claw. I watched the little stallion flinch for a second through my crystal clear view of this world. Hmm somethings strange with these two. The Mare seems to be genuine concerned for him. Oh even better, She seems to care for this one. I wounder what how this will change my little plan i have set? Nothing to do now but just sit back and wait for the insanity to kick in.

They had been walking for just under and hour when a thought came to one of them Rift~ “ Navi, Where are we going?” Navi~ “*Shrug* I don't know i just figured we would find something when we reached the end of this road.” Rift looked down only to see more sand. He stopped. Rift~ “ Navi, are you ok? Navi~ “ Well, i am getting a little tired of all this CHOCOLATE!” After a while of walking through this seemingly never ending maelstrom of chocolate rain Navi seemed to be uncharacteristically frustrated having after yelling up into the sky. Rift~ “ Why do you keep saying that? Theres nothing here but sand! What’s wrong with you?” It seemed this world was getting on the nerves of both of them Navi~ “ Whats wrong with me?! You’re just as drenched from all this as I am!” Rift~ “ Drenched?! In this weather?! I'm literally dying of thirst here!.” Navi~ "....But were basically swimming in chocolate milk here. Rift. I think something might be wrong with this place. You know other than the rain, and well pretty much everything here." Rift~ " Well. Somethings definitely off here, but I'm pretty sure it may have something to do with you acting like this." Navi~ " THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH ME!" She was shouting for the first time Rift had ever seen before. Navi~ " Your not making any sense!" There was a sudden chill in the air as a dull quite voice caught both their attentions ?~" Make sense? What fun is there in making sense?" It was a dull whisper, but both of them had heard it. Rift~ "What was that? Was that you?" Navi~" I didn't say anything, but i heard it to. Chills rode down both of their spines as a strange fog rolled up on both of them. They both backed into each other. Rift~" Navi. Listen, im sorry about yelling earlier, Just something about this place , its getting to me a bit. He was forcing a smile, looking lamely up into her eyes doing his best to look truly apologetic. She didn't say anything, her eyes lit up like they usually do when something exciting happens and she jumped to him embracing him in a hug. Navi~ I'm sorry for yelling for yelling too. Whatever's waiting for us in this place be it chocolate, or sand will not get in the way of Rift & Navi! Professional Adventurers!" She stood in a triumphant pose on as the fog that was slowly creeping up on them quickly disapeared turning into a large gust of ever convenient wind blowing her hair gracefully behind her. Rift~ " Yeah! We've been through worse than this! Lets Go!" And with their newfound determination they began to sprint to wherever the invisible road was taking them. That is until.....

Rift~ " Who...What are you?" Who am i? That question burned a whole through my mind. Who was I? Its been so long since I've actually used my name. I don't remember anymore. The two just sat there in horror as my patchwork frame floated in their air trying to come up with an answer. Well what better chance to give myself one? ?~ " Well you two are the ones in my domain so may i ask just who you are? Rift stepped forward prepared to answer when Navi came bursting forward yelling. Navi~ " I'm Navi and this is Rift! Were adventurers on a quest!" ?~ " A quest? How delightful. Well you see I'm...I am...Well truth be told i don't really know who or what I am. *Snickering* Those sort of things tend to slip away when you've been here as long as i have.” Rift~ “ Before you said “”Your Domain”” what did you mean?” ?~ “ Yes, This, wonderful creation as you see here is my domain.” Rift~ “ Big deal you made a bunch of sand!” ?~ “ Oh yes, your still delusional arnt you? Well lets fix that shall we? Give you a sight at real wonder.” A quick snap of my claw and the small pony flinched like before, turning back and forth looking in confusion as he saw my world for what it truly was. Delusions.” Navi~ “ I told you i wasn't crazy.” Rift~ “ Yeah, you did.” The little fool was still turning in place taking in all the wonderful chaos that was going on around him. ?~ “You see the moment you two entered my world i was watching you. For i am not just a normal creature you'd encounter in the wild, or for that matter anywhere else." Rift~ " Well you should Stop Following us!" At that he bucked a nearby stone at me. I don't think ill bother moving. The stone simply flew right through me as if i wasn't there. Rift~" What just happened? What are you?!" There was that question again. ?~ " You see I am not a physical being like the two of you. Well at least not here. My physical form exists else where trapped in stone. So I made this place. Here with my last remnants of magic. A place for my mind to be free while i waited for my body to catch up." And then it hit me. After Hundreds of years of trying to forget what i was i remembered.
