Twilight Sparkle; the most powerful unicorn that the Princesses themselves feel like they have never witnessed. The young unicorn mare was not one for praise, and would often retreat shyly into her library abode to relax and read. The beginning of the week was a surprise.

"Hey Twi! Are you in there?!"  With an exasperated sigh, Twilight's rasberry-colored magic field surrounded the doorknob and gently pulled it open, revealing an excitedly bouncing cyan pegasus. Twilight carefully set down the book she had been engrossed in before responding. "Hello Rainbow! Have you come to pick up the newest Daring Do?" "Oh, you bet! I'm gonna be the first one to read it!" Twilight couldn't help but giggle. "Rainbow, you don't have to be so afraid of ponies thinking that you're an egghead. Lots of ponies read books!" Rainbow Dash looked about, then hushed Twilight with a hoof. "Twilight!" "Right, the book. Sorry." She pulled a fuschia-colored book and flipped it open, breathing in the scnt of the pages. "Hey! Equestria to Twilight!" Twilight shook her head in surprise and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry, new book smell, I couldn't resist." Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Okay then. And when am I bringing this back?" Twilight stole a glance at her Check-out Log. "Three weeks from now." Rainbow gasped. "ONLY THREE WEEKS? Sorry Twi, gotta dash!" And with that, she flew out of the doorway, a gale blowing in her wake that blew Twilight's carefully stacked papers and quills over.

After trotting upstairs and managing to get her mane combed, Spike stopped her as she was about to go down the stairs. "Twilight, what the hay happened down there?" The baby dragon pointed a claw towards the mess that Rainbow's wake had made. Twilight sighed and put a hoof to her face. "Rainbow Dash happened Spike, Rainbow Dash happened."

The deep azure alicorn was striding through the Canterlot castle library, her eyes flitting from bookshelf to bookshelf. She was searching for something; a specific book on a specific topic. She had snuck away during a meeting, finding that the awfully stuffy unicorn council members were unbearable to listen to for too long of a time period.  The ponies of Canterlot and the surrounding areas still had not gotten used to the night Princess's rejoining her sister as a co-ruler of Equestria. the only pony she considered a friend, was a young unicorn. Namely, Twilight Sparkle. On a normal day, Luna would have been in her royal chambers, playing something ponies had recently made called a GameColt. One game in particular amused her; Ponymon. But now, she found her preferences had shifted from games to books. Seeing the lavender unicorn had re-kindled her interests in reading. She hadn't known why at the time, but she went along with it, Twilight in mind all the time. The topic she was searching for on this particularly early Sunday morning, was not one she was familiar with. Romance. After locating the book she wanted, Luna sat comfortably in one of the cairs in the library. She was aout halfway through when her eyes started to shut, and she drifted into sleep.
