Harry Potter: Into Darkness Part 3

Catalonia walked through the rubble of Hogwarts with her wand drawn. She was very tense with the sounds of battle in the distance. She heard footsteps and turned around.

“Herod?” she asked.

“Oh my angel!” Herod said running to Catalonia.

He then gave her a passionate kiss and she returned it. The two broke then kiss and looked at each other.

“Herod!” said a voice.

Herod turned to see Mayu Cantina with tears in her eyes.

“How could you?!” she yelled.

She then fired a kill spell but Catalonia threw Herod out of the way and she blocked it. Mayu fired three more spells but Catalonia blocked them all. Mayu prepared to fire a fourth spell but Herod fired a spell and the wand flew out of Mayu’s hand. She looked to Herod who had his wand pointed to her.

“Mayu, you will not touch Catalonia.” he said “I love her. And you can’t change that.”

“But, Herod I-I love you too.” Mayu explained.

“What?” Catalonia asked.

“Mayu, I do give you credit for your sincerity” Herod said “But I love Catalonia. Not you. You need to accept that.”

“B-But…” Mayu said as her voice began to break.

“Lass, please.” Catalonia insisted.

Mayu looked around and sighed sadly. She began to walk away but then looked back to Herod. He smiled at her and she smiled at him and then she vanished in a plume of smoke. Herod turned to Catalonia who embraced Herod.

“Come on” she said breaking the hug “I have to keep you safe.”

Harry waited behind a wall at the staircases. He then heard the sound of Voldemort apparating into the room. Harry then ran out and pulled out his wand and fired it at Voldemort. Voldemort blocked the spell and Voldemort fired spell after spell at Harry but Harry dodged them all. Voldemort then apparated away.

Harry turned around just in time to have his magic collide with Voldemort’s. Harry turned to see Nagini slithering at him. Harry then forced their two magical beams to the roof and the roof caved in and slammed between the two forcing Voldemort to apparate to a nearby staircase. Harry pulled out the Basilisk tooth and headed to Nagini but Voldemort fired a spell that forced Harry to roll over the staircase and hit the lower staircase. He then ran for his life and Voldemort followed after him.

Nagini still slithered up the main staircase but stopped when she felt a stone rock hit her and she hissed at her attacker. It was Hermione. Hermione gulped nervously and threw a another rock at Nagini.

Neville awoke dizzyingly and looked around him. It was pure chaos. Changelings, Death Eaters, the ponies and everyone else were firing spells or guns or just fighting with their fists. He then turned next to him and saw the Sword of Gryffindor.

The snake. he thought I have to kill it.

Twilight fired at any oncoming Death Eaters and Changelings. Gilderoy Lockhart prepared to fire a kill spell but was killed himself by a gunshot. Twilight looked to see Madeline.

“What are you doing?!”  Twilight demanded.

“Someone’s got to watch your back.” Madeline said.

“I’m a bit busy at the moment!” Twilight said as her and Madeline returned to fighting.

Hermione had been backed to a corner by Nagini who was slithering towards her victim. Ron then crept up behind Nagini his Basilisk tooth raised. Nagini turned, hissed and lunged at Ron. She missed but she forced Ron to drop the Basilisk tooth over the staircase. Nagini now hissed at Ron.

Draco pushed through the mob of people and saw Astoria who had just finished killing a Death Eater. Draco ran to her and caught her as she fell.

“Astoria!” he said.

“Draco!” Astoria said “What are you doing here?”

Draco pulled Astoria into a hard kiss, tears streaming down his face as he did.

“I just wanted to be sure you were okay.” Draco said breaking the kiss.

“Draco!” called a voice.

Draco turned to see his father and mother looking at him completely surprised.

“Son, look out!” Narcissia yelled.

Draco turned to see Barty Crouch Jr. firing a spell at Draco but then Bellatrix got in front of it and blocked it with her wand. Barty laughed like an insane man when suddenly Snape walked in front of Draco.

“You will not touch this child.” Snape said.

“Bring it on, old man!” Barty laughed.

Snape and Barry fired spells at one another each of them dodging them. But in the end Snape got the upper-hand and fired a spell at Barty. It hit Barty completely disintegrating him. Snape turned to check on Draco only to be met by Bellatrix embracing him.

Harry was by now in one of the towers and ran across the swaying staircase but Voldemort apparated into the room and fired a spell at Harry who jumped across the bridge and forced the spell to the bridge which caused it to fall. As Harry got up Voldemort apparated next to him and beat the living daylights out of Harry.

The two ended up on a ledge the ravine below. Voldemort grabbed Harry by his shirt cuffs.

“Why do you live?!” he demanded.

“Because” Harry replied “I have something worth living for!”

With that Harry grabbed Voldemort and dragged him off the balcony and they fell towards the ravine. Voldemort transformed into a plume of smoke but as they flew Harry stabbed Voldemort with his wand and the two separated slamming into the courtyard, which was empty since the battle had moved to the Grand Hall.

Harry brushed himself off and looked around. His wand was on the ground. He crawled towards it with all his might.

Voldemort himself, whose legs were broken, crawled towards the Elder Wand and grabbed it as Harry grabbed his. Voldemort then fired a kill spell at Harry and Harry fired his spell at Voldemort. The beams clashed.

Ron and Hermione ran for their lives from Nagini who slithered after them. They turned to face Nagini and as Hermione tripped over something, Ron fired a spell at the oncoming snake. The spell simply dissipated and Nagini lunged towards Hermione and Ron (who were now cornered by some rubble) screeching as she did.

Suddenly, Neville came in and with one slice of the Sword of Gryffindor decapitated Nagini who disintegrated. Neville looked to Ron who was comforting a sobbing Hermione.

Voldemort suddenly felt an agonizing pain in his chest and both his and Harry’s magic dissipated as Voldemort clenched his chest. Harry smiled.

They did it! he thought I can kill him now.

In the nick of time, Harry fired a spell and Voldemort did and the beams collided once more. But this time, Harry’s magic overpowered Voldemort’s. Voldemort looked to his hand in horror as the skin turned black and the skin, blood and bone began to seemingly melt away.

Harry fired one last spell and it hit Voldemort in the heart. The Elder Wand flew out of Voldemort’s hand and Harry caught it. He then looked to Voldemort. Voldemort fell to the ground, clenching his chest and then he either melted or evaporated (Harry couldn’t tell which).

Harry fell to his knees, exhausted. He had won.

The afternoon sun brightly shone in the sky. Any if all clouds were now gone.

In the Grand Hall, everyone was busy talking to one another. The Death Eaters had retreated when they knew the battle was lost and not a single Changeling survived. Only the Malfoy’s, Bellatrix, Herod and Mayu were left in the Grand Hall.

The Malfoy’s were hearing Draco tell them about Astoria while Bellatrix was busy resting. Herod and Catalonia were talking as if they hadn’t seen each other in years. Mayu had her arm in a sling and was talking with Aberforth and Horace Slughorn.

Luna and Neville were finally talking to each other and Madeline was busy tending to any wounded.

Harry walked around and bumped into Rubeus Hagrid who leaned down and hugged him. He then broke the hug and the two laughed.

“That’s my boy.” Hagrid said.

Harry then walked away and was approached by Ron, Hermione, Jennifer, John, Snape and the ponies.

“Harry, you were incredible.” Twilight said.

“Dude, you were badass!” Rainbow Dash said.

“We just wanted to say were proud to be your friends.” Fluttershy said.

“Come on” Applejack said “We have other people to talk to.”

Harry then was hugged by Jennifer.

“Thank you and Mr. Weasley for protecting my daughter.” she said.

“You’re welcome.” Harry said smiling.

John then walked away with his wife. Harry was now left with Snape, Hermione and Ron. Harry then brought the Elder Wand out of his bag.

“You know what you have to do.” Hermione said.

Harry, Ron, Hermione and Snape stood on the bridge among the destroyed statues. They looked around at the sight around them and then at Harry who showed them the Elder Wand.

“Well, here it goes.” Harry said.

He then closed his eyes and broke the wand in half preparing for blinding pain or an explosion. Nothing happened. He opened his eyes and his face turned to astonishment.

From the broken wand a plume of blue smoke came out and it flew towards the bridge. It landed and began to form the shape of a person. The mist faded away revealing Lily Potter who had her back turned to the four. She got up and then turned around to look at the four. Lily’s expression turned from fear to shock. Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Snape were looking at her with shocked expressions as well.

It was a while before Harry asked, child-like and almost tearing up, “M-Mum?”

Lily’s eyes welled up with tears as she nodded and said, “Yes. Harry…”

They both ran at each other and embraced each other. Mother and son were finally reunited after 18 years. The both of them were crying and hugging for a long time until Harry broke off the hug.

“I would like to introduce you to my friends, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. Hermione, Ron…this is my mother, Lily Evans Potter.” Harry said.

Lily smiled and said “It is a wonderful pleasure to meet you both.”

She stuck out her hand and both Hermione and Ron shook it, still very shocked by what they just witnessed. Lily turned her head and saw Snape, looking at her with shocked eyes.

“Hello, Severus.” she said happily.

“L-Lily” he said, nervous and hoping this wasn’t a dream. “I-I…can’t believe it. You’re…alive.”

“I guess I am.” she said.

She chuckled softly and Severus did the same.

“Severus?” Lily asked.

“Yes,” Snape asked.

“There’s something that I wanted to tell you. Something…that I never got the chance to say.” Lily answered.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron decided to give them their privacy and walked away until they were out of an earshot.

“What is it, Lily?” Snape asked.

“I wanted to say that…I never loved James. He was arrogant and untrustworthy and everything you said he was. He cheated on me several times, always sorry afterwards and never meaning it; but I kept running back to him. It was before I was killed that I realized…” her words trailed off and she looked at Hogwarts, the school where she once attended years ago.

“What, Lily? You can tell me.” Snape said, worried.

“I realized…that I love you.” Lily said “You’re so sweet and kind to me and you always have been and I want to be with you. Now and forevermore.”

Snape took a step back and moved his mouth, but no words came out. He started to laugh happily. Lily looked confused.

“Severus?” she asked.

He laughed more and then finally said “Lily, I have loved you all these years. Always and forevermore. I love you so very much. I love you!”

He bolted to her and kissed her passionately. Lily was shocked but returned the kiss and they embraced each other as they kissed. Snape lifted Lily off her feet and swung her around. Lily pulled back and laughed as Snape spun her again and again. Snape was laughing with joy, more joy than he had experienced in years. He finally put her down and they hugged closely, just completely happy that they were together again and now…forever.

Harry, Ron and Hermione smiled as they saw Snape and Lily together. It was first time Harry had ever seen Snape happy. They then noticed to ponies walk to their sides.

“Looks like everything worked out for the best.” Rarity said.

“Yeah, but…I must confess I miss home.” Fluttershy said.

Then, as if on command, Spike appeared right in front of them a remote control in his hand.

“Guys!” he said hugging each of the ponies who hugged him back.

“Spike! How did you find us?!” Twilight asked.

“We finally got a teleporter that’s portable!” Spike said “We can go home now!”

Harry, Ron and Hermione’s faces turned to disappointment.

“Must you go?” Ron asked.

“Sadly, yes.” Rarity said.

“But we’ll keep in touch.” Pinkie Pie said “Right?”

Twilight chuckled “We’ll try.”

“Well” Harry said shaking Twilight's hoof “It was nice knowing all of you.”

“Us as well.” Fluttershy said.

The ponies then grabbed Spike’s hands and teleported away. Harry, Ron and Hermione the looked to the forest and mountains beyond and held each other’s hand.

Nothing would ever be the same.

19 years had passed since the battle of Hogwarts. The wizarding world was going through a time of peace. During that time, Astoria, Draco, Ron, Hermione, Harry and Ginny had all wed their respective lovers. Bellatrix had married a Muggle named Dom Philips and Lily and Severus had finally wed. The Malfoy’s were allowed to live in peace. Herod, Catalonia and Mayu had taken jobs as professors at Hogwarts.

At Kings Cross, they were all seeing their children or grand-children off to Hogwarts. Harry leaned down to his son who had a suitcase.

“Isaac Severus Potter” Harry said “you be good now, okay?”

Isaac nodded.

“Papa?” he asked “Will I be a professor like grandfather?”

Harry smiled. “Maybe.”

Isaac then got on the train with Ron and Hermione and Draco and Astoria’s children. Hermione walked up to Harry.

“A fine young man.” Hermione said.

“Yes he is.” Ginny said.

The train then whistled and began to move. The children and adults waved goodbye to one another some with tears in their eyes. Harry, Ron and Hermione smiled. They knew their children would be safe. And Hogwarts would be there to welcome them.
