Adventures of Equestria!by Wicked BassChaptersAwoken.Part 1A new dawn.Part 3Manehatten.Part 3.5The Darkness.part 2Awoken.Part 1: .....You wake up in a mysterious place with only a cookie which you are chewing on, and your trusty BASS CANNON. You hear a loud roar! What should you do? Look around for another exit : You notice another exit which would completely avoid the noise but leads to a dark forest. What should you do? You find a matchstick to light the dark forest :You find a matchstick. You light the matchstick and are able to see a little better. It's still very dark there is a sense or eeriness about the forest. With no other option you travel along a dirt road leaving the cave. You continue until you notice a division in the road. One leads to a Mountain and another leads to what you think is a town (it's too dark to be sure). The matchstick has burned out. What should you do? Head to the town : You took the road to the town. It appears that a strange aura surrounds the town. On further examination you can tell it's a magical forcefield. You can't get in. You hear a beeping noise on your back. The BASS CANNON is recharged. What should you do? You try to use the BASS CANNON : While preparing to use the BASS CANNON you spot a mysterious figure on the road behind you. It’s too dark to make out what it is. To be safe you quickly hide in a nearby bush. You wait until the figure approaches the town. It’s a pony? He seems odd wearing a cloak covering his face. With a flash of light a hole opens in the forcefield and the "pony" passes through. The hole is closed behind him though (just your luck) and the forcefield remains. When the coast is clear you decide to emerge and are faced with two choices: Go back or continue to try to get through the forcefield. What should you do? Go through the forcefield : You try to run at the forcefield and are hit with a strange magical power that throws you back. You get up. The forcefield remains intact. You see your Armed BASS CANNON lying on the floor next to you.what should you do? Pick up the BASS CANNON : You approach your weapon. Suddenly as you are about to pick it up the figure can be seen from inside the forcefield. This time you can see the glowing red eyes glaring at you with a look of pure evil. You can't help but stare at it, the BASS CANNON on the ground within your grasp fully armed and ready to fire. You only have two choices: Flee and try to get out of the forest into the daylight or quickly pick up the cannon and fire at the forcefield to perhaps frighten the figure away (If you flee you will lose BASS CANNON) what should you do? Fire your BASS CANNON and run the figure furiously toward the figure : You quickly pick up the BASS CANNON and fire. You hit the Forcefield. The pure awesomeness of the blast causes the forcefield to break +10 Power. You charge towards where the force field once stood the figure appears stunned. Not taking any risks you run further into the town. The figure quickly recovers and chases after you furiously. You just keep running until you begin to feel tired. You quickly hide inside a house with an open door so you can catch your breath. You have evaded the figure for now +50 cunning and +5 stamina. Upon becoming more aware of your surroundings you hear what sounds like crying. It’s coming from a room in the building. The figure is probably still outside so it's not a great idea to go out yet. What should you do? Sleep. : You decide to sleep on the nearby bed and rest. Your energy has fallen slowly and you cannot open your eyes. As you slept dream you are a ringing sound. Smell of chicken soup filled the air and you slowly open your eyes. You wake to see a blonde haired figure; like the mysterious figure he has 4 legs. You realize who it is. It is none other than the great wizard Pauric!!! He stares at you and laughs. You begin to converse. He explains to you why you and he are here and why he has seeked you out. According to him you were sent to save the Ponies from extinction that will be caused by a dark and powerful force called Liam. He plans to destroy all of Equestria This is the pony country Equestria! The figure you encountered was one of many sent to stop you, made to look like ponies to fool you. You’re not sure whether to trust him or not. As you converse you both hear the crying sound as you heard earlier but chose to ignore. The great wizard Pauric goes alone to examine what was causing the sound. This is your only chance. You may sneak away now and choose to go your own way or to wait until he returns in a moment and take him for his word. What should you do? A wizard would never lie and feel that you can trust him. Look around : You examine the area. There is some broken glass, some chairs, barrels, batteries, a statue with the name "stephano" engraved on it and, a kitchen knife. Also you find the source of the crying. It was a little blue thing curled up in a ball next to some disfigured and blood smeared bodies of what very slightly resemble ponies. The creature looks up. It’s just a little filly. She’s trembling crying and frightened. These bodies are probably that of her parents. You can't leave her here that would be immoral. You hear fighting In the room where Pauric is. You will have to hurry and think of a plan fast! What will you do? Pauric blows all the attackers away and grabs you. : A Plan begins to form in your head. You grab the statue with "stephano" engraved on it. But before you can continue you hear an explosion where Pauric was. He rushes out of the room towards you. You grab the little pony quickly and Pauric uses a teleport spell. There is a sudden flash of light and you find yourself on the ground with the pony trembling in your arms. Stephano is also lying on the ground near you. You can't see Pauric anywhere and you have no idea where you are. You take a moment to comfort the traumatized pony that still has particles of flesh from what you believe to be her mutilated parents on her. You were only able to get her name: Woona. You need to get out of here, fast. Pauric found you once before on his own and he can find you on his own again. You pick up stefano. What should you ask him? Where’s pewdie? : Stephano stays silent he does not acknowledge your words. You throw Stephano in an angry manner. However after you throw the golden statue it disappears. You hear an agonizing scream and violent bursts come through a door. A strange creature emerges. It was a zombie like figure with a flabby body and a disfigured face. Sharp claws protrude out of its hands. You froze in horror as you realize what this creature is. It's A BRO. You have to be rational here. You have to save yourself AND Woona! The bro appears rather sluggish and you could outrun it, and has not noticed you yet but as soon as you move it will see you. As everyone knows bros are immortal and would be near impossible to fight. The BASS CANNON could work but it's not charged. Woona is paralyzed with fear and you will have to carry her, there is a pathway very close and is your best bet. You could also try to fight the bro or run aimlessly into the forest what will you do? (If woona dies you get bad ending) Woona dies : '-' No just kidding. You run into the forest : You run aimlessly with fear and content the bro appears to be no longer behind you and you can see the edge of the forest +5 sense of direction. Woona cries in your hands afraid and hurt. You try to console her. The bright light of the sun is gone and it is now night the sky is a spooky crimson red, almost the same shade of blood. You can see a shed. It’s beside a cottage just outside of the forest. This would be a good place to hide for the moment until the BASS CANNON recharges or Pauric finds you. You approach the shed. The door is open. You peer in the window to check if the coast is clear. There is a key inside labeled “house key “nobody appears to be here. You can go inside, talk to woona, and check the house, what should you do? You had better hurry in case the bro or some other creature finds you You go on in the house. : You attempt to go in the house. It’s locked. You saw the key in the shed .A freezing wind welcomes you as you descend into the darkness of the shed. You barely remember anything since you got here. It was like you have Amnesia. You begin to recall fragments of memory but noting that makes any sense. With no other option you decide to enter the shed! There is a light switch. You flick it and you illuminate the shed. The walls are covered in the severed bodies of dead animals and buckets of blood fill all but one corner which has a pile of brains in it with the words "Bunny brain corner" smeared in blood on the wall. There is a chair in the shed. With braced designed for keeping someone in place. There is a table at the end of the shed with the key. You approach it keeping woona close to your side (probably not a good idea to bring her with you) as you grab it you hear someone approaching. You hear the words "Hey, hey, hey!"as the thing approaches. Until now you did not notice the sound of a chainsaw revving up. The figure stands in the doorway and says "you should have stayed out of my shed!"The sound of the BASS CANNON recharged means fighting is an option here. You could also jump out the window and make a run for the door, either way you’re gonna go into the house! What should you do? Fire the BASS CANNON! : The deranged yellow pony dashed at you and tries her hand at cutting you at half with her chainsaw. She’s too fast you can’t escape. You fire your BASS CANNON. The blast forms a smoke and you cannot see if you hit her or not. Music starts to play and the skeletons on the wall start to play music. You get a bad feeling about this. Woona is beginning to shake as you hear the ominously upbeat tune. You grab woona make a "dash" (Irony) for the door. The house just a couple of feet away. The sound of a chainsaw heard behind you, clearly you missed or this is one tough pony. In your panic you drop Woona as you try to put the key in the door. You both get inside the door and lock it tight but there is still a chainsaw wielding pony outside being stopped only by a feeble wooden door. You need to defend yourself. You see some wires with sparks coming out of them where a plug socket used to be. There is a chest which is locked and some knives and forks in the kitchen. She’ll get in any minute. Open the chest with your Bass Canon : using the back of the BASS CANNON you break the lock off. You open the chest. Inside you find a steel sword. The sword looks out of place. It was cold like the blizzard and rough like the mountain. It reminds you of a distant land. Your knees cave in for some reason as it feels like you have been struck by an arrow. You pick the sword up with you mouth. With your new found weapon you get up and decide to risk it. You order Woona to get behind you. You both are trembling with fear as the pony's chainsaw rips through the door like paper and lunges at you. You Close your eyes and swing your sword. You hear the sound of metal meeting flesh and then hear the chainsaw drop. You look and realize you decapitated the pony, but as you continue you notice a huge rip through the flesh on your own abdomen. You fall to the floor, and pass out from the loss of blood. The last thing you see is the blurred outline of woona sitting beside you..... (Continue as woona for a short period)The person who saved you is losing a lot of blood! You need to try to stop the bleeding. There are some medical supplies in the bathroom. There is some: Disinfectant, bandages, and morphine. What should you use? You use all the items and try to make him feel better : You have used all the medical supplies and knowledge you have of treating these wounds (which is none) Medicine+5. She appears quite pale, so you decide to let her rest and go explore. You go to look in the chest. You stand on your tippy-hooves and peer adorably inside the chest. Inside you find a pair of cool looking shades, A fashionable cloak, four shoes designed out of sparkling moon-crystals, A crown, A necklace with a moon on it and a Mysterious Scroll with the words “spell “on it. What will you do? Examine the goddamn scroll!!! You examine the mysterious scroll. This scroll is a spell that can be used to teleport. You’d better not use it for fear of what happened the last time. Due to your playful nature you decide to put on the Cloak, shoes and cool shades +20 SWAG, which would be useful if you weren't in an apocalyptic pony world. You decide to go upstairs. You find yourself in a homemade Observatory. There is a large window on one side of the room that overlooks the outside. A telescope stands in front. A small shelf on the wall holds books and knick-knacks. There is a comfortable-looking bed that looks like just the thing to rest upon. What should you do? Woona uses sleep : You curl up on the cushion and proceed to take a nap to forget about all the horrors you witnessed today. You have a dream that you are a swashbuckling pirate engaged in an epic swordfight with the legendary ponies of the sea. Also there’s a chicken for some reason. (Return to playing as wicked bass) you awaken to see a Pony standing above you. Pauric! You continue to look around notice the hastily done bandages where your cut is. You look is Woona returns from her nap down to you both. Out of happiness she gives you a big hug unaware of what's going on. Pauric sees your pains and decides to carry woona for you. You struggle to get up and out. You need a healing potion or some more professional medical treatment badly. You trot on trying to keep up with Pauric and woona. You head into a nearby town with the sign “Ponyville” on it. As you walk on you notice a home made out of a hollowed out tree. A name suddenly comes back to you "SPIKE” you feel the urge to enter the home, but do you do so or keep going? What should you do? We continue in the next part..... Author's Note A note from Wicked Bass: Owell B is a good friend of mine. He is not a brony like me and most bronies I know consider him a hater. I do too, but we are friends and we put this difference aside through friendship and that is why we remain friends. He did this with me for fun and any references to any existing things or people are intentional and just put in there for our and your entertainment. We especially put woona in there as a main because I love her as a character, and the bro was all Owell’s idea (Pauric and some other human names put in are fictional. We just didn’t put a lot of effort into the names as pony names are hard to come up with) A new dawn.Part 3: You continue to walk downstairs. Pauric helps you get to a nearby rocking chair. He unlocks the front door so that woona can come in. There may be no electricity but there are candles fixed onto the walls. Pauric lights one and they all begin to light up. They appear to be magical. They appear to be magical, which probably means they won't burn out unless put out. As you sit in the chair Woona climbs up onto your lap and begins to fall asleep. It hurts a bit because of your wounds but you don't say anything to her. She seems to trust you more than Pauric +20 trust. Pauric and you are aware of what lurks in the darkness of upstairs, but the light seems to keep it at bay. You feel drowsy, mainly from loss of blood but it seems a good idea to get some rest while you can. You sleep until dawn. You are now well rested. Your BASS CANNON is fully recharged and good for two uses before another recharge. You see that the Light of the sun seems dimmed. The sunlight seems welcoming to you, but you still need to find this "Spike”. Your memory is still fuzzy but you associate his name with this house. What should you do? You get up from the rocking chair. You feel the urge to get up. Woona is still asleep so you lift her up and put her back on the rocking chair as you get up so you don't disturb her. As you stand your legs begin to feel weak and you collapse .You get up and keep going anyway. You are in dire need of medical attention. Pauric would be a good bet as he may have a medical potion or a spell of some sort. You quietly wake him and ask. Unfortunately he doesn't but he thinks there may be a few potions lying around in the next room. One of them would more than likely be a medical potion for an emergency. If not he knows a place where you can get one, but its back in the so called “everfree” forest. What should you do? You look for the potion in the next room. : You decide to check the next room. The room is dark so this is a risk, but you need this potion badly. You wander about only able to make out outlines and shadows. You wonder about the room aimlessly, bumping into things and not sure where the potions would be kept. As you turn around you see a figure. This seems all too familiar to be a coincidence. The figure also turns and looks at you. It takes a moment to look you over and laughs. The figure goes into the dim light being emitted from the lights in the other room. You can now make out who it is. It is the one and only commander of the rainbow knights. Sir, Patrick the great! You smile at the familiar face. You and Patrick go back a while. You are good friends already. You both went to flight school together and both passed as the top in your class. He’s probably here for the same reason you are. Whatever that is. You could ask him what's going on and what's so important about this place and maybe even get him to join you on your quest. What should you do? You explain the situation to him. : You tell Patrick everything you know, and explain to him what you are looking for. He reaches into a bag he has and tosses you a health potion. You open it and drink most of it. You feel your pain fade and you strength regain. There is still a cut where you were sawed because you didn't drink it all but it doesn't hurt and is nowhere near as deep now. You remove your bandages and feel almost at 100%.You both go back into the light and you approach Woona. She seems a bit in pain but mostly psychologically. You wake her and give her what's left of the potion. She finishes it and smiles. She seems much better. Patrick is still a bit confused about what's going on but he tries to explain to you all what he knows. The one known as Spike is a dragon. He is the only one who knows where Liam is located and will only tell the person he feels most deserves to know. He resides in this home but is not here, but he believes he knows where he could have fled to. Patrick would serve as a useful ally. He has a bag, which could be useful for carrying items, and he also carries a revolver with the words “dash” engraved on it. You can ask him to join you and find spike together or go your separate ways. What should you do? Such a powerful force can’t be defeated alone. You ask Patrick to join in on your quest. : You all step outside. The sun is up fully. You should get moving as far as possible during the day. You offer to go with Patrick to this place he mentioned. He allows it and is delighted that decide to join him. You also ask him to join your group. He agrees and believes there is strength in numbers. Pauric agrees with him and believes you need to get more people to join us if you want a chance to defeat the dark forces of Liam and his dark army. You need a name though. You consider four: The heroes of Equestria the Equestrian adventurers, The Wicked, or the light in the darkness. You mutually choose the equestrian adventurers. It turns the place you are going to is the last safe haven where anyone would be safe in this world. The royal city of canterlot. The city can be seen from almost everywhere in equestria. There is a massive forcefield guarding the city and would be your best bet at finding anyone. But there is only two ways of getting there. The train or you could also teleport as Woona still has a teleport spell scroll, but after what happened last time it might not be the best idea. What should you do? You decide to take the train. However you must prepare for a long journey. : The train seems the safest bet. The trip would be long and you will require some supplies. Pauric says there is a shop nearby. You should go to the shop and scavenge whatever supplies you can find. You and Patrick go alone while Pauric and Woona check the train station go to try securing a train. You enter the shop. There seems to be a lot of rotting food. The fruits and vegetables have rotted but there is some canned food, some sweets and crisps, A lot of drinks some even appear to sparkle meaning they may have magical properties,3 first aid boxes and some red meaty looking stuff that appears to have been the shopkeeper. The shop is quite dark and all electricity has been cut off. You can still see fine but you feel you're not alone...What should you do? Get all of the supplies! : You and Patrick begin to look around and take the supplies. As you gather the supplies and begin to leave. As you do so you hear someone shout out "who is there”. You both freeze and turn around slowly. The figure approaches you but quickly realizes that you are not the “imposter ponies” apologizes. He explains that he is from Trotville, a nearby town which has lost its power and he was sent to investigate. The power to most of the towns in the region is supplied by a generator located in canterlot, and the power appears to be cut off from the main source. Most of the fresh foods that need to be refrigerated are rotting because of this problem. You feel obligated to help out the town. You explain that you are heading to canterlot and you promise you will sort out the problem if you can when you get there. You have gathered all supplies available and you are ready to return to the train or you can explore the town a bit more. What should you do? You know that you can’t miss the train so you depart to the train station : You decide to go to the train station as this seems the best idea. You meet with Pauric and Woona. Pauric explains that the trains are powered by magic and are completely automatic. They run completely oblivious to the world crumbling around them. There are two fully functioning: the one to canterlot which will depart at the same time as the other one going to Trotville. This is a tough decision as Trotville is probably unprotected and the residents are vulnerable, and Canterlot is the Capital of Equestria, the princess and an army royal guard including a forcefield protects the city and we could restore power to probably everywhere. It seems that the best decision is to go to canterlot. If we get there we can restore power to Trotville and then the residents may be able to focus then on ways to protect themselves. You all get on the train as it begins to depart and begin your journey to canterlot....You sit down in the passenger carriage. You feel the sun warming your face from the window as it begins to set. You feel that a nap would be a good way to pass the time. You and Woona Decide to sleep. Pauric and Patrick stay awake to keep watch...You are awoken abruptly, Patrick shaking you and Woona. He points to a gap in the track a couple of seconds away. You need to think fast! Do you all get out of the train? Tell Pauric to levitate it over the gap? Panic and run around like crazy screaming? Canterlot is not too far from here and you could walk. But it's dark. What should you do? Pauric levitates the train. : As Pauric attempts to levitate the train, he realizes it's too heavy to all be lifted. You all get into the front carriage and he levitates you over the gap. What’s left of the train shakes on the track and you hold on tight. Woona loses her grip and is flung out of the window. You try to grab her but it's too late. You jump out of the train in an attempt to save her. Pauric and Patrick get taken away by the train as it begins to become stable. You are lying on the ground. Your head is killing you and your body is sore and almost completely paralyzed. You see Woona not to far from you. She’s not moving. She is covered in glass and is lying in a pool blood. You don't think you can walk but you need to get to her. She can't die! What should you do? You decide to seek for help. You head towards the nearby road somebody must be there. You pick yourself up : You try to stand up. You can’t. You just can't walk! You try to crawl. You reach the road beside the track. You don't want to leave Woona alone out here. You shout for help. Nothing. You feel upset. The one time you most need someone to help you no one is there. You’re on your own. You lie on the ground. You need to help woona but you can’t leave her and try to crawl for help as it is dark and it's too dangerous. What should you do? …..To be continued Author's Note Here we go.The first filler arc.All the filler arcs will be done in 1st person but may alternate between characters. This is the only one going done by us and then the next one will be open for submissions Part 4.5 (Equinity) Part 3.5 is next part, but the main story continues in part 4 Manehatten.Part 3.5: Pauric and Patrick began on the long walk to the castle. The city was huge. They did not stop at any locations they passed. They were focused on their goal. They reached the castle gates and were greeted with a hero's welcome. They were allowed an audience with the princess of canterlot: Celestia. The two briefed the princess on the situation of their two friends but their pleas for help fell on deaf ears. The princess did not care for silly matters such as this to save only two people, but was more focused on the situation in Manehatten which is a valued city near canterlot. The people there were of great value to her for reasons she will not mention but she won't send guards out there as a small group of guards going alone would be suicide. She believes that they are different however though, as Patrick is a former commander of the rainbow knights and Pauric an unchallenged mage with magic to match that of even the princess’ apprentice Twilight, who was unfortunately consumed by the darkness. You would stand a far better chance of survival. The Mysterious dark entities that have been slaughtering thousands have arrived at the city now, and will kill everything in sight. The princess can teleport you to the center of Manehatten. You will have to Save as many people as possible and find a permanent solution to protect them.(For this you can Play as either Pauric or Patrick Choose wisely) what should you do? Play as Pauric. (In the eyes of Pauric): And without hesitation a bright light blinded our eyes and in a flash they disappeared into thin air. The Princess wished us good luck. Unbeknownst to us a strange entity was watching us. It gave a sinister smile and dissipated into the shadow. The skies were dark with little to no light coming from the moon. The atmosphere was evil and the air smelled of death. The smoke choked life itself around the town. The town had seen better days. A sign which said Welcome to Manehatten had become unrecognizable because of the darkness and blood that covered it. I remembered this city when I was young. It was a very lively town. I used to buy my alchemy supplies in here when I was an apprentice. It was a busy magic filled city ever since the college was built here. It even rivaled Canterlot as the magic capital of Equestria. I had even attended the college for a time and it was truly magical. It all had changed now. The Princess reluctantly had to ban the dark arts after a few experiments went wrong to keep the people from being harmed .Any that still practiced black magic still had to flee to the everfree forest. Many tales of zombie ponies, skeletons walking around and a mysterious pony with no face who takes people called the slender-mare. Countless heroes were sent to investigate but none had ever come back. It was considered a danger zone. I turned around and was saddened by the site. I could see Patrick was even more upset. I could understand. It was his home after all. I already had an Idea for the protection of the town. A barrier. A forcefield would mean that nopony could get in or out but a magical barrier could be changed to discriminate between species and would not need as much surveillance as it only needs to be cast once to be permanent unless destroyed. I would need a lot of time and some samples of the Figures that we keep being attacked by. I have yet to name them, something like: the forgotten or shadows or something like that. Patrick seemed to be a million miles away, but this is no time for that. I shoved him and pointed to the college. That's where any residents who didn't run would have hid. My assumptions seemed even more likely as we stood outside the college walls. The gates were open and outside the door to the main building stood three cloaked figures bashing furiously at it. It seems light keeps them at bay, I wonder if it touched them what it would do? Patrick gotten his gun out, waiting for me to give the signal. What should we do? Use light magic! :It made sense that light magic should be used. I took Patrick’s gun and the bullets in his bag. Using a little of my magic I enchanted the bullets with a blinding light. I used a basic light spell but put a ton of power into it so it would shine as if the sun were out. The shadow figures turned around and were momentarily stunned. Being a good shot, Patrick shot the three of them accurately. They melted into black liquid like substance. I gathered the samples and put them inside a container which Patrick had in his bag. Patrick looked at the college with a grim disposition. After all this was where his special somepony attended school. I knew this because I was a friend of hers. She was taken by the darkness on the first day and I’m sure that was hard for him. I put my emotions aside to focus on the task at hand; if I was going to examine the samples I would need a lab. The college was known to be a hub for alchemy. It was no surprise how the great alchemist Gemstone taught here. We had to get in. Patrick noticed a window on the top of the college that was open. It'd probably be the best bet seeing as every entrance not open would be protected with magical energies. He could easily fly up and open the door on the inside. Patrick got airborne and went through the window. He landed on the floor without a sound (continue as Patrick for a bit)I examined the room. Almost all of the room was filled with light emitting orbs. The people here were obviously onto the effect light has on those things too. There was nothing in this room worth taking. I could continue to search for survivors here on my own and leave Pauric outside for a little while. He can easily handle himself and I have enough of those enchanted light bullets to take on at least twenty of those things or I can go and let him in and we can continue together. What should I do? Go get Pauric, but look around a bit too. :I could not leave Pauric outside. For fear of what could happen of we separated, but I felt the compelling need to search for any clues as to what happened here. As I walked down the corridor to the door I noticed some of my mare’s classes. Being a Pegasus meant I couldn’t attend here but I often came with my mare just to listen in. The one that stood out the most was my equestrian history class. It brought back memories. I entered the room and almost completely forgot about Pauric. I saw a large shelf with old text books and some artifacts which seemed ancient. The tables were gathering dust and there was nobody to be found. I saw my old teacher's desk. On it were some books and a piece of paper which seemed out of place. The chalk board had "Hope is lost" hastily scribbled on it. It unsettled me. I can just leave or continue to search further. What should I do? Leave the room and go get Pauric!!! : I chose to leave the room, it had to many memories. I needed to look for more survivors, but first I had to get Patrick. I continued to walk through to corridor. I just noticed the corridor was dark! It didn't make sense, why would the corridors be dark when the rooms were lighted up? Maybe something got in? I continued with my guard up and began to notice a smell as I approached the main hall. A smell of the most putrid and disgusting things you could imagine, the smell of rotting corpses. Only reasons I can think of for there to be dead bodies here would be that either people didn't make it in on time or necromancy. I kind of hoped it was the first one as necromancy, along with some other dark arts has been banned for years now. My fears were confirmed when I walked into the main hall. There were zombie ponies! That's not right. Their bodies seemed to be beginning to decompose; probably because necromancy spells increase the rate of decay on dead bodies. I saw the puppets, but not the puppeteer. I could probably make a run for the door as long as these guys couldn't sprint or I could just try taking them out. What should I do? You can’t engage with them there’s too many of them. Just run! : I thought it would be best to probably not take the zombies on. I just thought of a way to get to Pauric. There was a window beside the main door. I made a run for the window; I sprinted to the window and unlocked it. The zombies had noticed me at this time now and I panicked and tried to get out as fast as possible. I was bitten on one of my hooves. I tried to break free but one of the zombies was biting down on my leg not allowing me to escape. I knew it wouldn't kill me unless told by its master and that I couldn't turn unless I died. I was dragged along the blood-soaked ground. In my moment of captivity I saw the figure that was controlling the zombies. Now I know why the classrooms were lighted up it wasn't to keep these shadow things from getting in, it was to keep this thing from getting out! I screamed as my whole world became black (continue as Pauric) There was a scream in the college. It sounded like Patrick. I noticed the window was open. I could now get in. I should check on Patrick but I should get inside first. What should I do? Just get in the frickin’ window and save Patrick! : I entered the college through the window as it was the only available entrance. I used minor invisibility spell as I only needed to be slightly camouflaged in this darkness. As I entered the main hall nearly vomited when I saw my surroundings. Corpses were scattered among the place and an undeniable smell covered the room. Loud moans were heard through the corridor. I peaked at the corner. I saw a frail and decaying pony. It turned around and I saw it had only one eye. It was too horrible to look at. I knew these were zombies, being one of the only still living mages to graduate when dark magic was taught. I quickly realized that this was pure necromancy, a pure crime against pony nature. I looked around the building to examine any clues to the whereabouts of Patrick. Most of the rooms were covered in rotting corpses. Some moving, some not. The floor in the main hall is covered in pools of blood and there is a very noticeable trail as if someone was dragged along the floor can be seen leading upstairs into a dark corridor. I could hear the screaming no longer and no living things were in sight. Light would do nothing against the corpses and most of my spells to attack them would have taken either too long to charge or would not have been felt due to lack of any feeling in their bodies and Patrick was probably in a lot of trouble and I also have the survivors that need saving to think about. What should I do? Look for Patrick more thoroughly : I think if I find Patrick first I will have a bit more of a chance. I think as long as we get to an alchemy lab I can examine the samples I collected and use the data to create a barrier which would expel all of the dark figures from the area as it is cast outward. The result should cancel the necromancy spell as the caster is flung out of range, as long as he is one of them. I think my only lead to finding Patrick Is to follow the trail of blood. I follow it until it cuts off at a wall and seem to go nowhere. Probably some form of trap door or magical cloak is hiding something in this wall. I touch it and my hand goes through the wall, I was right. Hopefully Patrick lied beyond whatever was inside this place. He could be alright but maybe this was a trap. I entered the forcefield. I saw something horrible. It was a disgusting contraption. It was........................T.B.C. Author's Note 3.5: Manehatten. In order to save Bass and Woona, Patrick and Pauric must go to the city of Manehatten to save the residents from the mysterious darkness that has been spreading across Equestria.Part 3.5.2 will be out on Friday or so..... and Equinity is now officially going to be open for the audience to decide the story on Saturday. Just send your decision and it will probably be used to shape how the story goes (i say probably because there may be a few submissions but not too many as this isn't that popular yet so you have a high chance) a new part will go up almost every day hopefully for the next week or so. if you want to decide go to here: http://adventuresofequestria.tumblr.com/ Hope to see you soon for part 3.5.2 and part 4 UPDATE:It's gonna be a little bit longer than expected but part 3.5.2 will be out as soon as I possibly can post it.You see owell B (my co-writer) has gotten sick and he won't be online for a while.I run the tumblr though so I can keep that filler arc going until then so you can go to the link I posted above this if you want to keep up with that or submit a decision, etc. Sorry about the delay The Darkness.part 2You decide to do neither and fly to the second floor balcony and enter through window. : For some reason you try to jump to the second floor which would usually be easy for you, but the big cut along your abdomen began to hurt as you go to jump. That’s not an option until you at least get some medical treatment or a healing potion. What else will you do? You do what the narrator told you to do : You ignore the pain and jump anyway. You feel a tear and your wound reopens you land on the second floor balcony and collapse. You crawl to the window a trail of blood coming out of you as you crawl. You feel dizzy again. You look around. There is a four legged creature standing at the end of the hall. It is small and resembles a similar shape to Woona. It’s not moving. Mabye it hasn't noticed you. Pauric and Woona are outside. What should you do? You’re crazy from the pain and try to attack. : Out of a rush of adrenaline from the pain you get up. You equip your sword and begin to approach the figure. Your limp turns into an all out rush, with your sword in your mouth ready to swing. You are about to strike and then you suddenly stop….. You can't move. There is a magical glow around your body that appears to be what's causing this. The dark figure approaches. You can't move and Pauric and Woona are outside. The window is open so they may still be able to hear you. You are terrified. What should you do? You decide to shout for help. : As your only option you shout for help. You hear nothing. Terror begins to take in as you think this is the end. You struggle and try everything to move. But it's no use. There is a Massive flash of light. As your vision returns you realize you are not dead. Pauric is standing beside you. His horn is emitting a maglight shielding you both from the figure. He lets you lean on him and you both walk downstairs. There’s no electricity, there are candles but they’re all out and the only source of light is from pauric's horn. What should you do? To be continued in the next part…… Author's Note Yeah. This chapter is not as long but was hopefully enjoyable. The next part is a lot longer and will hopefully still be as awesome in what I believe is the first mlp fan-fic written by a Brony (me) and a hater (Owell b) I'd be awesome if it was the first. If you're wondering the figure was twilight. And for those who don't understand the system : means that the narrator is talking and he doesn't stop until either what should you do?,what will you do? or some other form asking roughly the same question.I'll post up part 3 asap.
Awoken.Part 1: .....You wake up in a mysterious place with only a cookie which you are chewing on, and your trusty BASS CANNON. We just didn’t put a lot of effort into the names as pony names are hard to come up with)
A new dawn.Part 3: You continue to walk downstairs. This is the only one going done by us and then the next one will be open for submissions Part 4.5 (Equinity) Part 3.5 is next part, but the main story continues in part 4
Manehatten.Part 3.5: Pauric and Patrick began on the long walk to the castle. Sorry about the delay
The Darkness.part 2You decide to do neither and fly to the second floor balcony and enter through window.
