Sam Williams ever free forest time of day: early morning

i looked around thinking someone or something would be their to meet us but all i saw was a rat

"umm boss can we move? i think i saw something coming this way...and it was big...way too big to be natural" i looked at where hell fire pointed and if he was telling you that something is too big for him to handle you know you better move

i imidiatly began running as the others followed the forest became less dense and our helmets began detecting movement other than ours their where three others one was moving faster than a normal human could and one was slowly moving like a walking pace they where a distance away the last one was a confirmed friendly so we went twords that one soon we saw a purple pony with a picture of a stare on her flank

"huh check it out boss she has a horn on her too and whats with the bags?" shady dust said as he examined the creature

the unicorn looked at me up and down as if searching for large wounds then she did something that made me and my whole team more frightened than when we saw a berserker for the first time

"oh you must be Sam Williams or do you want me to call you snap shot? anyway im twilight sparkle i was just on my way to look for you" we all froze as we just looked at her

"d-did you just talk? pleas tell me you guys heard her too" we all nodded slowly

"what? didn't war haul tell you about me" i was still trying to process what was going on

"umm yea he told us that the creature meeting me was strange but...i didn't expect you to be a pony...or look so...never mind" twilight chuckled

"follow me and keep whatever those things are to yourselves you don't want celestia to think your heir to hurt us"

we all followed her and we where still processing what we just heard 'a unicorn? talking?' i thought as i continued following her we eventually came across a town by the time we got their we had gotten used to the fact that their was a talking pony we where actually walking for five days but we didn't mind and heck we weren't even hungry or thirsty the whole way through

"well we're heir welcome to pony vill" she pointed a hoof at the town and lead us forward

"WATCH OUT TWIA BEHIND YOU" we all looked to see a Orange pony with a pony tail charging at us or rather me specifically

she jumped at me to try and knock me down but my extensive training allowed me how to counter her move i grabbed her hooves and restrained them to the ground and pinned the rest of her body down with my body weight while using my legs to keep her back hooves from moving

"LET ME GO YOU MONSTER" i tightened my grip

"apple jack these men aren't monsters their friends of war haul" Apple jacks eyes widened and a blush came to her face as i got off her

"oh im mighty sorry i thought you where creatures from the ever free forest so whats your name's?" i dusted my armor off

"im snap shot this is:shady dust,hell fire,pounder,dead eye and burner you can probably guess why we got these nick names for" i stood aside as she looked over my team

"well you guys look like you can take on a hydra what in tar nation are you packin?" she raised an eyebrow when she notice that we where each carrying about 4 weapons burner carrying a 5th one which was his flame thrower

"we only carry what we need to survive the alien invasion" apple jack got wide eyed at the thought of what would drive us to need enough weapons to arm a platoon

"wow how bad are things on your world?" she shed a tear at the thought of what earth must look like

"their is no more earth they have already taken over me and my team are the last soul survivors of the excom project" Apple jack lowered her head now knowing that she just tried to attack a near extinct species

we followed them to a barn and got some rest for the rest of the night since we where all tired and unfocused

it has been 5 days since i left the prison and i loved every second of it i was able to see what nature had to ofer i actually saw some interesting things like a:dragon,manticor,hydra and even a bear i saw all kinds of animals i had no idea that i was so good with animals i had almost everything following me even the hydra and manticor and i was actually riding the dragon for once in years i felt calm eventually i came across a little cottage that had some more animals in it i got off the dragon and gave him a pet on the head before going in and i heard something

"is someone their? oh are you one of war hauls friends?" i saw a Pegasus come down the stairs

"who is war haul? and i was just exploring their are so many wonderful creatures out their *sigh* i wish i knew about them sooner" i looked back at the herd of animals i had been leading around

"oh my are those all yours? they seem to really like you" she took a look at the dragon hydra and manticor then back at me and took a few steps forward showing herself completely "you have a dragon and hydra with you? impressive even i don't know how to keep them from going all crazy" since she was a pony my mind was trying to process what was going on but it didn't take long since i was in a haunted death prison for 12 years

"oh it was nothing i just aproched slowly and showed that i only wanted to help" just as i finished my radio began to get something "hang on for a sec" she nodded and sat down on her flank

"*static* hello this is commander Sam *static* i am looking for a cyborg named war haul he was *static* before he vanished if you see him contact me" i looked at the radio and at the pony who was sitting their

"you know this guy?" she looked at the radio and back at me her mouth slightly open

"no i don't but i guess he is ether going to help war haul or hurt him by the way whats your name?" i froze when i realized i never actually found out my name...no one ever called me by it or even knew what it was hell i was never even given a name

"i-i...i don't... actually have a name" her jaw dropped slightly as her eyes widened

"you...you don't have a name? wow...well what if...we give you a name?" i raised an eyebrow "yea maybe we can find one based upon your talents...you do have a talent don't you" i looked at my equipment

"i have more than i can count" she took a closer look at me

"like what?" i pulled out the sub machine gun i got from the guard

"well im a good shot and i can run pretty fast i can also survive in near impossible conditions i can escape entire pocket dimensions i also can sneak in and out of areas undetected AND im great with animals and can dismantle a bomb within ten seconds..." her eyes widened even more and her jaw dropped as she tried to remember everything i just said

"umm im not sure what to call you you seem to have so many talents i cant figure out a name for that" i tried to figure it out myself

"how about...we just call me what they did at the... academy?" i wasn't even going to bother telling her i was a prisoner if she knew she would scream and i would just go to prison again

"well what did they call you their" i tried to remember what they called me back in the prison

"they usually called me the gate keeper since i did vaulentier duty and wouldn't let anyone in areas they weren't supposed to be in" that was actually true i was hopping by doing good in the prison they might let me out early

"ok Mr gate keeper im flutter shy nice to meet you" spread out her wings and flew a little closer just hovering two feet from me

"flutter shy... that's a very pretty name nice to meet you" i smiled as she blushed a little i could tell the 'shy' part of her name was because she was pretty shy most of the time

"thank you i have never met someone who is so...nice" she looked at me with the most adorable eyes

"don't worry im not a bad guy now if you need me i will be at that umm...town i guess" she looked at where i was pointing

"oh that place is called pony vill be careful though they aren't used to humans or cyborgs yet they still think you might hurt them" i nodded and left

in rainbow dashes house 2nd Pearson

"thanks for helping me wash up" you pass her a towel so she could dry herself

"no problem im just glad no pony got hurt" as the two of you leave the bathroom you gallop to the exit to leave "anyway got to go im looking for somepony who sent me a letter"

"what kind of letter?" you look at her with a smirk

"a love letter she said she lives in pony vill and said to come find her" she nodes slightly

"well good luck on finding her you might try looking near the center of town or on the hills that's usually a meeting spot for couples" you nod before flying off.
