Movie Night

    One sunny Saturday morning in Ponyville, Spike was fast asleep in his warm bed. Twilight had already been up for an hour reading a book about magical plants in the Everfree forest. Spike suddenly had the urge to throw up (This is what he feels every time Twilight receives a letter from the Princess).

       “Ooooh!  A letter!”   Said Twilight, as she caught it.

       “What does it say?” asked Spike.

       “It says:

       “Dear Twilight sparkle

       I have been watching the other ponies in Equestria interacting with each other, and I have noticed that they aren’t experts in friendship either. When I sent you to study friendship, I wasn’t really thinking about the other ponies. It seems that some of them need a refreshing on what friendship is all about. I have also noticed that the new invention of movies had become very popular in a short time. So I thought of a great idea for you and your friends to star in your very own movie to refresh ponies’ minds on friendship. I told the director you will be starting tomorrow. The movie studio is in Canterlot.  You can ask anypony where it is and they will tell you.

P.S. You will each be paid 1000 bits for staring in this movie.”

       “Wow!”   Said Spike.   “Your own movie!”

       “I think that is a great idea! I have been noticing ponies not treating each other as they should.”  Said Twilight.  “Let’s go tell the others!”

       “Rainbow!”  Yelled Twilight as she bashed the door to Rainbow Dash’s house.   “Open the door!”

       “What do you want Twilight?!”  Yelled Rainbow Dash in a crabby irritated voice.   “It’s too early to be knocking on somepony’s door!”

       “First of all, it’s noon.   Second, it’s really important, and I need to tell you now.”

       “Fine, what is it?”

       “The princess sent me a letter this morning saying that you, our other friends and I are going to star in a movie!”

       “Nah, I’ll pass.” She began to close the door.

       “No wait! Did I mention there is money involved?”

       Without hesitation, Rainbow Dash said,  “I’m in!”

       “I thought so!”   Said Twilight in a very excited voice.  “Just meet me at the train station tomorrow at ten.”

       “What! That is too early!”  Exclaimed Rainbow.

       “Well if you don’t get there at ten o’clock sharp, we will leave without you, and you won’t get your money.”

       “Fine.”   Said Rainbow in an irritated voice.

Meanwhile

       “Well if it isn’t my Widdle Spikey Wikey!”   Said Rarity in a babyish voice.

       Spike blushed.  “Hi Rarity.   Twilight sent me to tell you about the letter she got this morning.”

       “What was it about?”   Asked Rarity.

       “It said that Twilight and her friends are going to be in a movie!”

       “I’m her friend, right?”   Asked Rarity.

       “I guess…”   Said spike in a confused voice.

       Rarity gasped loudly.   “Oh my gosh!  I’m going to be FAMOUS!”

       “Great!  Twilight said to meet her at the train station tomorrow at ten.”

       “I’ll definitely be there!”   Rarity slammed the door.   Spike sighed passionately.

        “No! I won’t do it!”  Cried Fluttershy.

       “Come on Fluttershy!” Twilight said.

       “No! I’m not going in front of millions of ponies!”  Exclaimed Fluttershy, still crying.

       Twilight had to think of something fast.

       “No Fluttershy, ponies aren’t going to watch it!”   Said Twilight after she thought of a plan.

       “Then who is?!”

       “All of your animal friends!”

       “Really?”   Fluttershy stopped crying.

       “Yes!”

       “Well, I don’t want to disappoint my animal friends… Oh fine, I’ll do it.”

       “Yay!”   Twilight was very excited.   “Just meet me at the train station tomorrow at ten.”

       “Okay.”

Meanwhile

       “That sounds like a great idea Spike!”   Said Applejack.   “But we’ve got a big harvest tomorrow.  I don’t think I’ll be able to do it.”

       “Well…Ummm…”   Spike felt as though he was going to throw up again.

       Another letter came in from Celestia.

       “Dear Spike,

       I understand that Applejack has a big harvest tomorrow and that she can’t make it to the movie casting. I have assigned two ponies to help Big Macintosh so Applejack won’t need to help. I have also notified some of the other members of the apple family to help Granny Smith with apple pies too. Applejack is free to come tomorrow.

Princess Celestia”

       “Perfect! That should do just fine!”  Stated Applejack

       “Great, Twilight said to be at the train station tomorrow at ten.”

       “I’ll be there!”

       “Where is Pinkie Pie?!”   Yelled Twilight in a frustrated voice.

       “Well, she wasn’t at Sugarcube Corner, she wasn’t at the pond, she wasn’t frolicking in flowers, and she wasn’t pranking.”   Spike said.

       “Uuuugggghhhh!”

       “Hey guys!”   Pinkie was behind them.

       “Where have you been, Pinkie?!”   Twilight’s mane was messed up.

       “I was watching paint dry.   It’s actually pretty fun!   This time it was GREEN paint!   Isn’t that exciting?”

       “O…k…   Anyway, I was going to tell you that we are going to star in a movie!”

       “Oooooooh, that sounds like fun! When do I start?”

       “Meet me at ten in the morning tomorrow at the train station and I will tell you the details.  Okay?”

       “Ok, see you then Twilight!   I’ve got to go, because I’m going to watch red paint dry now, YAY!”
