Lyra and Bon Bon made a strange couple, some might have asserted: although one was widely known throughout Ponyville for being a radical with a passion for ‘human’ conspiracy theories and the like, her partner was level-headed and urbane—usually possessing the social skills her friend lacked. Nopony quite knew why she fell for the eccentric mare. Her motherly toils were widely seen as wasted.

Hey, everyone. This is my first story in which I will be employing a few literary elements I've studied off and on for a few months now. I've tried to construct the story like a novel, using landmark events and filling in the gaps between these with scenes aimed at character development, plot enrichment and building tension. That said, I make no plea for clemency. Be vicious if you mean to leave a vicious critique. This is my first attempt, and I need to bring the rest of the story up to par.

The story is about half-written so far, and I will release chapters once I feel them to be properly revised. Don't be patient—if you are, I'll never get anything done.
