Spike's Growing Pains REMAKE
A dragon. He grows when greedy. A baby dragon has just recently gone through it but became young again. He, however has doubts of staying in his home. He caused so much destruction. He had to repair most of it by himself, with little help. He could become this greedy, mean monster when matured for real. He wouldn't want to hurt his friends and family. He has thought about his options with the best one coming to mind: Running away.
"That's it! After I fix up the last of Ponyville today, I'll run away," He thought. "I don't know where yet, but I can't stay here. I'll kill everyone and destroy Ponyville when I'm older. I can't risk it. I'll just leave a letter with Owlowiscious. He'll give it to Twi. I'll keep my friends and family safe." While finishing repairs, he thought about how sad Twilight would be after he left, but for Spike, it was his best option.
He came home to the library late at night. He made his way slowly and quietly to Owlowiscious.
"Give this to Twilight tomorrow morning." He handed the letter to the bird.
"Hoo." The owl took it.
"I'll take that as a yes." Spike began to pack his things. He had 2 bags: Jewel Stash and Memories. After packing, he put on his Fedora from Cherilee. Just as he was about to open the door, the lights turned on.
"Where do you think your going, baby dragon?" said Twilight. She came down from the stairs and walked up to him.
"Owlowiscious, here." The bird came to Spike. He took back the letter and gave it to Twilight. She read it to herself.
"Spike! Your running away? Why?" She asked him, worried as ever. She started to tear up.
"When I'm older, I'll destroy Ponyville and hurt my friends and especially you. I can't take any chances. I have to leave." Twilight put a hoof to her chin, thinking of a way to solve this. She made the 'I got an idea' expression and went over to Spike.
"Spike. I have an idea. Go to sleep." He did so and headed up to his room, thinking what possible answer she could have.
Spike was sitting on the couch facing an marker board. Twilight had asked Zecora to come over and help her teach Spike about Dragon Growth.
"I've got to say. This was a good idea," Spike said.
"Not at all, my scaly friend. Help is something I like to lend," Zecora said.
"Now, are you ready?" Twilight asked. Spike nodded. "Let's begin." She put up a picture and wrote it's name under it. "There are usually two types of Dragons. This one is called 'Draco Greedo.'"
"They are greedy for sure, but they lack the wings to soar. They also do not speak. They roar, anything from a mouse squeak." She sighed. "Sometimes, it's hard to make up rhymes," She thought.
Twilight put up another picture. It showed a dragon that had a striking resemblance to Charizard (Pokemon). "This is called 'Draco Aero.'"
"Not only will you retain the ability to speak, but also fly like a creature with a beak." She came over to Spike. "You have learned much; one last thing to know. You must always keep friendship close to properly grow." She was greeted with a hug by Spike.
Twilight came over and hugged him. Spike cried softly.
"T-thank you..........Twilight," he got in.
"Shh...it's okay," she rubbed his back and calmed him down. They sat down on the couch.
"Thanks, I...WAIT!" He looked around frantically. "What time is it?"
"10 to 2pm. Why?" Spike got off the couch.
"Shit. I'm gonna be late." Spike ran out the door. "Thanks." The two just sat there and laughed softly.

"Crap! I'm SO LATE!" Spike panted, running to his destination. Rarity's home was such destination as he is known to hang out there on a daily basis. He was actually running a little late to getting there, but not that late. He saw the place as it drew closer. He stopped at the door, caught his breath and knocked on the door.
"Spike? Is that you? Please come in." He opened the un-locked door.
"Sorry I'm late. I was running late with..."
"It's alright. Come here. Sit." She was at a couch, patting the opposing side as an indication for Spike to sit there. He answered and came over and sat down.
"I have something to say," Spike began. "Thanks to Zecora and Twilight, I know that greed will no longer be a problem. In fact, as I get older, I'll get wings and still talk."
"That's very nice. Now. I wanted to tell you something. Remember when we were falling through the air when you turned small again on your birthday?"
Spike put his hand to his chin and thought.
A Special Moment\
"Yeah." She leaned in closer.
"We both thought it was the end of our lives. You wanting to admit your feeling to me as a last moment was..." She started to tear up. "....was as touching now as it was then." Spike's cheeks were bright magenta now and his heart-rate was speeding up. "I should say this before I cry my eyes out." She turned her head away, sniffled and turned it back. "But actions speak louder than words, don't they?" She leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He never wanted to break it as it was better than any other feeling he felt in his life. He took a sniff of her violet mane before getting into the kiss again. Grapes with a hint of wine. He loved it already. As Rarity broke the kiss, she noticed Spike was close to fainting, but he pulled through. "I love you, my Spiky-Wiky." She kissed him again. He would never feel any better...except....in bed.

Wow...that joke sucks. Nevertheless.
He broke the kiss for a moment. "I know you want to continue, but I just wanted to make sure you'll help me so I don't get greedy again."
"Anything for you, Spiky."
"Wait. I don't even need to be greedy. I already have the greatest jewel in the world." She blushed.
"Such a charmer." They kissed again...and you can guess the rest.
