"What happened?" Shrieked Twilight when she saw the hole in her roof. "Err... Flying accident." said Fluttershy At that moment Rainbow Dash gets up and shakes her head. "Great one, Fluttershy! Look what you did!" Said Rainbow Dash "Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." Said Fluttershy Then, Rainbow Dash started lecturing Fluttershy on how she needs to be a better flyer and how it should be 'in her nature' to be a good flyer. As Rainbow Dash was talking, Fluttershy noticed the bookcase tilting forward a little. "Umm.. Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy said quietly. Rainbow Dash just ignored her and kept talking. "The... the bookcase. It's moving..." Still, Rainbow Dash kept ignoring her. Then, the bookcase came of the wall and started falling straight toward Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy screamed at the last second: "WATCH OUT!" Fluttershy leaped toward Rainbow Dash and shoved her out of the way. Then, one moment later, the whole bookcase came crashing down. On top of Fluttershy. "Twilight! Help me!" Yelled Rainbow Dash as she attempted to lift the bookcase off her friend. Twilight ran over to the bookcase and helped Rainbow Dash lift it off her. And underneath was Fluttershy. Out cold. The Hospital2 Days Later... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fluttershy is lying in the hospital bed with her 5 friends standing around her. The storm winds blowing through open window at the end of the hall. She then begins to awaken, her eyes opening very slowly. She shakes her head a bit and rubs her eyes with her hooves. As her vision focuses, she sees Rarity's smiling face. "Ahhh! Oh, sorry Rarity. I was having a nightmare. Ugh, my head! Where am I?" Fluttershy said, obviously sounding confused. "You're in the hospital, silly. " Applejack said. Rainbow Dash then walks up to Fluttershy and says "Hey. Thanks for saving me from the bookcase the other day." This makes Fluttershy uncomfortable and then she backs up onto the bed. "What's wrong, Fluttershy? It's me, Rainbow Dash" " Well, it's just that I, umm... don't know you." Everyone goes silent in shock. "How can you not remember me?" "Well, you just don't look... familiar." The Doctor's InspectionRainbow Dash, still in shock, takes a few steps back. She then leaves for a few minutes and returns with the doctor. "...and then she said she couldn't remember me!" Rainbow Dash said to the doctor. "Okay, alright." the doctor said, and then he turned to Fluttershy. "So Fluttershy. You don't remember her?" "No..." Fluttershy said to the doctor. "Well, do remember everyone else?" "I think so. That's Twilight. That's Applejack. That's Pinkie Pie and that's Rarity." she said, pointing to everyone in the room. "Hmm... Interesting. It seems that she can remember everyone except you, Rainbow Dash." the doctor said. Rainbow Dash leaves the hospital and starts flying back home. In tears. Back to FluttershyFluttershy was at home, sleeping, when she heard a knock on the door. She walked over and opened it and saw Twilight and Rainbow Dash standing there. "Oh, hello Twilight. Hello, umm..." Fluttershy paused for a moment while she thought. "I'm sorry. I really am. I'm trying to remember you, but I can't." Rainbow Dash's head dropped. "Hello Fluttershy. We're sorry to disturb you, but we really need your help." Twilight said "Oh, well, what can I help you with?" Fluttershy said, slightly confused "Okay, Rainbow Dash has been feeling a bit down since the other day in the hospital, so we were wondering if you wouldn't coming with us for a few hours to try and jog your memory." "Umm... Okay. What's the worst that could happen? Right?" Author's Note To answer Fluttershy's question, the worst that could happen is: They somehow create a paradox which destroys the time-space continuum and erases every point in time and space to the end of the universe, in every universe, so then nothing would of ever existed anywhere at any point in time in any universe or dimension. Plus, while it's happening, every single pony, past, present or future, is being destroyed with EXTREME PAIN AND TORTURE! Fluttershy's IdeaA Few Days Later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I'm worried about Rainbow Dash. She hasn't been outside in three days." Pinkie Pie said to Fluttershy. "Yeah. She went in there after she tried to get my memory back. She's been taking it really hard. Were we really that close?" Said Fluttershy. "Of course you were." Said Rarity, "You were the only other pegasus out of us six." "Well, what can I do?" Asked Fluttershy. Then Fluttershy had an idea. She flew over to Rainbow Dash's house and knocked on the door. "Who's there?" Said a sad voice "It's me. Fluttershy" she replied back. The door swung open slowly, and there stood a very tired Rainbow Dash. "Have you remembered me yet?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Well, no. Not yet but..." Fluttershy was cut off as Rainbow Dash turned around and walked back to her chair. Fluttershy continued. "Just because I can't remember you, doesn't mean we can't start from scratch." Fluttershy said. This got Rainbow Dash's attention. She got up and walked back over to the doorway. "So your saying that you want to be friends with me, but from the beginning?" Rainbow Dash asked. Fluttershy nodded her head. Rainbow Dash loved this idea! She shot out of her house, flew right up high and then blasted backed down again. Fluttershy watched her go faster and faster. She had a smile on her face, because she was glad Rainbow Dash was happy again. And then there was a BANG! A huge rainbow flew across the sky; a sonic rainboom. The rainbow flew right over Fluttershy, which got her thinking until she went... click. ReunitedSuddenly, it all came rushing back to her! Everything about her, back in her mind! The sonic rainboom, the Wonderbolts, the Element of Loyalty! Even the bookcase incident a week ago! It was all back! Rainbow Dash flew over to Fluttershy and landed next to her. She was about to speak when Fluttershy gave her a big hug. "I remember you now!" Said Fluttershy to Rainbow Dash Rainbow Dash went silent for a moment and then yelled "Yeeaaahhh!!! Woohoo!!!" She jumped up and flew around her house, still ecstatic with joy. She then landed next to Fluttershy again and gave her a hug back. Fluttershy then said to Rainbow Dash "You're my best friend." Rainbow Dash smiled, then whispered back: "You're my best friend too." After all, Friendship is Magic. Their Best AttemptFirst, they tried Rainbow Dash's home. Twilight stayed on the ground and waited for them to return. "Does any of this seem familiar?" Asked Rainbow Dash when they arrived. "Hmm. I don't think so." Said Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash continued to show Fluttershy around, in hope that she will remember something. Anything. After ten minutes of looking around her house, Fluttershy still couldn't remember her. However, Rainbow Dash did not give up hope. Next, she tried showing Fluttershy pictures of them together. "Oh! I know that photo! I remember the day it was taken!" Fluttershy said when she saw the pictures. "Really? Great! Are you remembering me?" Rainbow Dash said, hoping for the best. Fluttershy stopped and thought for a minute, and then looked back at Rainbow Dash. "I'm sorry." Fluttershy said to Rainbow Dash Rainbow Dash didn't know what else to try. She had just given up hope. The two pegasi returned to Twilight. "Did it work? Did she get her memory back " Twilight asked, but then she realised the answer when she saw the expression on Rainbow Dash's face. So, the three ponies went home. Fluttershy kept trying to remember Rainbow Dash, Twilight tried to think of other ways to help her friend and Rainbow Dash just sat there. Hoping the problem would fix itself. In the SkyIt was a nice and sunny day so Rainbow Dash decided to use the nice weather to do a few tricks. She decided to take Fluttershy along with her. "Come on, hurry up!" Rainbow Dash yelled at Fluttershy "Oh. Sorry Rainbow Dash. I just don't like going too high. Why are we going this high anyway?" Fluttershy said softly. "Because at this height I'll be able to get some great speed!" Rainbow Dash stopped and looked down at the ponies on the ground. "Wow. We're up REALLY high now! The ponies down there look like ants" Rainbow Dash said excitedly. She then dived straight down, gaining some massive speed. As she went faster and faster, it was getting harder for her to keep her eyes open. Then, right when she was about to make a sonic rainboom, a flock of birds flew under her. She quickly spread out her wings and shot right back up. Fluttershy was still up there watching her blast straight towards her. She started moving out of the way but she wasn't quick enough. Rainbow Dash smashed into her and the two pegasi were now falling towards the ground. Rainbow Dash immediately started flapping her wings and got back upright. Fluttershy was still falling though. Rainbow Dash flew down to her and told her to start flying. "Fluttershy! Spread out your wings!" Rainbow Dash yelled at her. "I CAN'T!" Screamed Fluttershy. "Why not?" "TOO FAST!!" Rainbow Dash tried to catch her, but she was right. She was going really fast. She saw that Fluttershy was heading straight for Twilight's house! She zoomed right down to Fluttershy and pushed her out of the way at the last second. Luckily, Fluttershy landed right in a pile of hay. Not so luckily, this caused Rainbow Dash to crash through Twilight's roof instead! Twilight's AdviceThe Next Day ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Twilight was at home reading (as always) when she heard a knock at the door. She opened it and saw Rainbow Dash standing there with a depressed look on her face. "Oh. Hello, Rainbow Dash. What are you doing here?" Said Twilight. "Well, I really want Fluttershy to remember me again and since you read a lot of books, I was just thinking that maybe you might be able to help" Rainbow Dash said "Well, I do know a memory spell, but..." "But what?" Rainbow Dash interrupted. "It won't work in this case. The spell will only work if the ponies lost their memory due to magic. Or, of course, simple forgetfulness." Rainbow Dash's face dropped lower than before. "It's all my fault." she said to herself. "No it's not," Twilight said, trying to cheer her up. "Yes it is! I should have listened to her when she was warning me." "I would take her to a professional. Have you talked to the doctor?" Twilight said, attempting to lift her friend's spirit. "Yeah. I talked to him today. He didn't say anything useful." "Well, maybe we could ask Zecora. She is, after all, a herbalist." "Hey, yeah! Zecora's HutRainbow Dash and Twilight arrived at Zecora's hut, deep in the Everfree Forest. Twilight entered and saw bottles and plants and all sorts of things, but nothing out of the ordinary for a place like this. However, she couldn't see Zecora anywhere. Twilight walked across to the other side of the room and stuck her head through the door beads to the next room. She looked around and saw Zecora sitting on a chair drinking tea. "Oh hi, Zecora." Said Twilight as she and Rainbow Dash entered. "Hello, Twilight. What can I do for you?" Said Zecora when she saw the two ponies. "Well, we've got a problem with Fluttershy. You see..." Twilight then explained what happened. "And we were wondering if you could help us get her memory back." "Hmm... Memory loss is a difficult subject. There aren't many ways to cure it." Said Zecora, thinking about what to do. "Well, what ways are there?" Said Rainbow Dash "The easiest method is to simply show her things that will remind her of you. For example, you could take her to your home." Rainbow Dash thought that was a great idea and rushed out the door and took Twilight with her. Author's Note Sorry these chapters are getting shorter. I just don't want to have two separate scenes in the one chapter.
