After I finish this story i'm going to go thourgh and edit it, the first half of my story is mostly "Telling" and not "Showing" I think I could do a much better job. So that will happen sometime in the furture. Until than… have fun.
It has been just over tewnty years since a war ravged Equestria and the princesses were deposed of. A new goverment lead by one know only to his ponies as "The Leader". The new Goverment is meant to give food and water, and protect the ponies, but is it really doing that?
Nightwing, a pony born, along with just many of his fellow ponies, during the war have only known this new Equestria their whole lives. Nightwing accepts what happens and just tries to surive, but with his mom dead, and no father to have ever known how can he make it thorugh?
But one day everything will change, when he meets a rejected Citizen pony who is sent to live among the workers and Nightwing has no choice but to take him in. But that's not were his troubles end, before he knows it a revolt… Maybe a Revoultion could be in his hoofs.
But maybe all that is needed is for ponies to find true magic again.

The title is only for the time being, untill I can think of a better name.
I came up with the idea for this story one day in study hall, I had the idea of Nightwing before, but he had been a namless OC I never did anything with, and here I had a chance. So I played with the idea for about a week and came up with the short story here.
This is my first complte free writing work, well not complte but furthest i've ever gotten on one of my projects, and I mean to finish this one. I'm not going to whine for you to judge me easy just because it's my first work, because than how can I learn to get better? I just hope you enjoy it to some extent. Oh and special thanks to my editor going by flodoomable.
