When Pinkie Pie accidentally sets Sugarcube Corner on fire in a freak accident, the Cakes cast her out and so do the town. Her friends beg her to stay but she leaves in tears and buys a train ticket out of there. She arrives in small town Appleoosa and meets up with an old friend, Braeburn Apple. He takes her in while she's recovering from the shock of the accident and she starts noticing something about him, he's acting clumsier than last time around her. He passes it off as many things, but she has one suspicion; Has he got a crush on her?
