Today, Luna decided to take her filly Estrella, to visit Ponyville. She was afraid at first, because she was very protective of her daughter. Every time she looked at her, she felt a deep sadness and loss. When she arrived in Ponyville, they all hugged her. "We haven't seen you in a long time, how are you handling?" Twilight asked her. Every pony asked similar questions, and Estrella was confused. Handling what? What happened that was so bad? She saw her mother cry and ran to hug her. "What's wrong, Mama?" Estrella asked. Rainbow Dash looked over at her husband Joy Stick. "Joy, I'll stay with Luna, could you take Estrella to play with our son?" As Joy Stick took Estrella to her new friend, the filly felt a strange feeling in her belly, and that something was going to change her life forever. As she entered the room, it seemed to glow as she spotted a white filly with red and black hair and brown eyes. They stared at each other a while and her breath was taken away. "Hello there! my names Golden Heart! What's yours?" The little filly smiled. "E-estrella." she said shyly. After spending a whole day with him, she felt like her life just begun and could not wait to see him again. On the way back to Canterlot, she looked up at her mother and asked "Mom, when may I see him again?" Luna looked at her child and could tell she was in love. Her mother looked at her and sighed. " Be careful, it looks like you're in love." The filly frowned. "And how is that bad?" Luna's eyes started to tear up as she told her, "I will tell you how it's bad, and how I lost someone I loved so much, in a terrible terrible way, and why you don't have a father.
You see, I was in the Canterlot Garden when I saw this amazing Ali-corn. I was a little scared at first but, I walked up to him. He turned to me and smiled. We talked for a bit, got to know each other. We decided to meet each other in the garden, every day. Every day, I fell more and more in love with him. We eventually dated, and then, I was pregnant with you. One day, he was acting strangely and told me he had to leave. He told that we should write letters to each other and leave them in a tree by the garden. We could not see each other until a year and we were to meet at the same tree to read the letters to each other. Even tough she had been warned, she still could not keep away from Golden Heart. When her mother visited The Mane 6, Estrella visited Golden Heart. Every time he saw him, she fell more and more in love with him. She also noticed something strange. “Why does your wing look worse every-time I see it? “What's wrong with it?” He frowned and tears almost brimmed his eyes. “My real parents gave me up because of it, Rainbow Dash and Joy Stick adopted me.” he said. Estrella was puzzled. “But what exactly, is wrong with it?” she said, worried. He saw the worry in her eyes, faked a smile and said. “Nothing. I'm fine” As the years went by, she loved him more and his wings got worse. One year, the were teens flying through the sky. He had trouble flying and was falling behind. He let out a cry of pain and started falling to the ground. “GOLDEN!” Estrella screamed as she dove down to save him. His wings were barley there and he kept losing feathers and consciousness. He was breathing hard And his eyes were closing. As fast as she never flew before, Estrella flew as fast as she could to a hospital. Tears were streaming down her face as she whispered, “It's okay, you're gonna be just fine, I'm here for you shh it's alright” Slow tears also streamed down his face as he snuggled closer to her. As they arrived to the doctors, they explained his condition. “He has a rare condition in which as a filly, his wings get worse and worse and after they completely distorted and disfigured the disease will spread to the rest of the body, the only way to save him is to amputate his wings, and everypony knows without a Pegasus's wings, they will die. We have to get a donor, but there are none now. We have to give him a fake wing that is like a helicopter blade and he will feel pain every time he flies, if it works. It is a very risky deadly operation to put a blade.. Estrella said “NO! I won't let this happen. I can be the donor he can have my wings and I'll have the helicopter blade. I don't want him hurt.”
