Constanze is a young and headstrong Gryphon soldier who is sent as an emissary to Equestria. His mission is to spy on Celestia and report his findings, but the Gryphon's plan backfires when she decides to send him to Ponyville to assist her pupil, Twilight Sparkle, with learning more about the magic of friendship. Instead of military secrets Constanze's intel consists of the magic of friendship, among other things.
