The Struggle To Fly Again

Rainbow Dash was flying higher and higher into the sky her friends yelling encouraging comments at her, though no-pony noticed the light grey mare bouncing up and down and up and down over and over on a small cloud, it was Derpy Hoofs

"C'mon Rainbow!" Applejack shouted as Rainbow got as far up as she needed to, Rainbow looked around the sky "well here goes nothing" Rainbow said to her self, she looked down and started to flap her wings faster and faster and faster and then even faster, a cone formed in frount of Rainbow suddenly a crack of lightning hit Rainbows wing just before she could make a direct turn to avoid the ground, Rainbow crashed with a loud thud and lay sobbing in a small crator she had made, "I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG!" Derpy shouted at a distance not getting any ponys attention so she just flew off, meanwhile all Rainbow's friends rushed over to her, Applejack was first there, "Its all right sugercube" she said softly and as calmly as she could "OH MY! Twilight what do we do!?" Rarity shreaked "Well considering she in a hole in the ground sobbing and her wing is bent backwards, im guessing we should take her to a HOSPITAL!" Twilight said not realizing that her voice was becoming louder as she spoke, "oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness" Fluttershy quietly said "OH MY CELESTIA! ITS HORRIBLE! GET HER IN THE WAGON!" Pinkie yelled louder than was needed "What wagon Pinks?" Applejack asked "This wagon ya silly filly!" Pinke said as she pulled a bright red wagon from behind her back and placed it in frount of her friend "uhh...okay. Twilight would yah mind givin' me a hoof?" AJ asked her friend "Yes, of course!" Twilight replied levitating her friend in frount of her and placing her into Pinkies wagon being carful not to hurt her wing more than it all ready is, "All right y'all lets get goin'!" AJ said grabbing hold of the wagon handle in her mouth and running towards Ponyville hospital.

"ok y'all we're halfway their, how's she doin'?" AJ asked concerned, "I dont know stop and i'll check" Twilight was the one to reply AJ slowed to a hault, turning to see her friend, she was unconscious "oh. my. great. Cleastia...RAINBOW!...RAINBOW! ... RAINBOW WAKE UP!... RAINBOW DONT YOU DARE LEAVE US!...RAIN...bow..." Applejack said tears streaming down her cheaks "Dont worry she'll be fine, lets just get to the hospital as fast as we can!" Twilight was once again the only one who responded, the other four had begun to cry along with Applejack, Twilight tok the wagons handle in her magic  and begun sprinting towards the hospital.

Once they were there they were greeted my a tall young colt with a tidy short trimmed black mane and a clipboard cutie mark, "oh my, what has happend here?" he asked in a very deep voice kinda like james' (only people from Kirky High will get the refrence) "Rainbow was hit by lightning while doing a sonic rainboom! can you help her?" it was Twilight who spoke "I'll try, can you lay her on this gurdy please?" "sure" Twilight magiced (ITS A WORD NOW!) her friend gentely on top of the gurdy "Thank you, now will you be staying over night if needed?" The colt asked all ready starting to wheel Rainbow away "Well...i cant Spike needs me" Twilight said feeling slightly guilty that she couldent be there for her friend at this, her time of need "Im sorry darling but Sweety Belle is at home all alone" Rarity said sobbing "oh, im sorry but i cant either, A-Angel will get verry worried if im not home, he's a very nervous creature, im so sorry" Fluttershy said meekly "Ah will, Rainbow was their for me when ah broke mah leg last apple buckin' season, she was also their for mah family when they were behind because o' that" AJ was staring at the floor as she spoke "OH-OH-OH-OH-OH I WANNA STAY TOO! IT'LL BE JUST LIKE A SLEEP OVER!" Pinkie shouted almoast not taking the situation seriously anymore "Very well if you two lovely young mares will follow me to...umm who is this?" The colt asked rather embaressed "R-R-Rainbow Dash" Fluttershy spoke before she was out the door with the others, "thank you, now as i was saying, if you to lovely young mare will be so kind as to follow me to Miss Dash's room...Oh yes i almost forgot, my name is Aqua Freash, i'm Colgates husband" Aqua said his head held high, he then lead AJ and Pinkie to room 14, the two mares watched as Aqua wired Rainbow up to one of those Beep Beep Beep machines ya know the ones that annoy the crap outta you at the hospitals, okay yeah the story... "Ok you two make your self comfy and if you get hungry during the night the cafe is just down that hall its open all night" Aqua said leaving the room, Applejack sat  on one of the four chairs beside the bed Rainbow was on soon joined by Pinkie Pie, they both slowly fell asleep.

The next morning bot the pony's were awoken by a Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep "What the hay is making that noise? it kinda annoying" Pinkie said the next moring looking around "Its a uhhhh...thing, thats uhh...keepin' track o' Rainbows brain waves or somthin'" AJ said also quite puzzled "Anyway thanks Pinks, for staying over at the hospital with me that is" "PFFF no problem i love love love sleep overs, no matter where it is, ooooh i once had a sleep over at Raritys once but it was kinda boring all she wanted to do was make dresses and dont get me wrong it was fun at first but she wasent letting me help out or anyting, all she let me do was hold a little squishy thing with pins in it, and i pricked my hoof with it and it really hurt, luckly Rarity had a first aid kit so i was fine after a band-aid was on. OOOOO and once i had a sleep over at Fluttershy's house it was sooooo fun as well, but then i find almost everything fun like when we all went to that park last week you rember dont you? y'know when-" Pinkie was cut off by a unsuspected hoof shuved into her mouth "Pinkie sush please" AJ said urgantly Pinkie tryed to speak but AJ could only make out a muffled "oh sorry, hehe!" ,The nurse barged through the door at that point witch was quite uncalled for and you could se on her face she was rather confused and probally not expecting to see a bright pink pony with another ponys hoof in her mouth "oh uhhh..hi nurse blossom" AJ said removing here hoof from Pinkies mouth "HAI NURSE!" Pinkie shouted "oh, hello Applejack, Pinkine Pie, so how was Miss Dash through the night? any coughing, moving or noises?" nurse Blossom asked getting straight to the point, Pinke took a deep inhale  "Nope!" AJ awnserd cutting Pinkie off from what ever she was going to say "Well okay, if anything changes or takes a turn for the worst let me know" nurse Blossom said as she turned and walked out the door. "OH NO!!! APPLEJACK IS THAT CLOCK RIGHT!?" Pinkie yelled "eeeyup, should be, why?" "OH NO IM LATE FOR WORK!" and then in a flash of the colour Pink she was gone, but instead of using the door...she went out the window. Applejack sighed "Sometimes i worry bout that pony, welp better get back to the farm the family'll be worryin' bout me..." AJ turned to look at her friends motionless body and sighed again "see ya later Rainbow, stay strong and please. Please. Please dont leave me" and with that see made her way back to the farm.
