The blue unicorn fades from an unconscious state. He can hear voices all around him, mostly mares by the sound. His eyes flutter open to see a yellow blur. The colt lets his eyes focus to see a pink maned pegasus floating over him, smiling that he is awake. She disappears for a minute and the unicorn hears commotion below him, the pegasus flies back up followed by a group of five other mares, three of which are being lead up the stairs. Each of the ponies before him are unique from the others, the unicorn notes to himself, taking time to notice there are two of each tribe.

One of the other unicorns tentatively steps forward to him. "I am Twilight Sparkle, Who are you?" She asks sternly. The colt looks around the room before drawing a heavy inward breath. "Nice to meet you. My name is-" A shocking thought rushed through the colt, his eyes widened. He had lost his own name. "I forget..." He said after a pause.

The six mares and one dragon in the room looked as if they had just been told another riddle by Discord. The blue colt donned an apologetic expression, having no clue how to explain the inability to remember his own name.

"Okay," Twilight asks. "could you explain how you got here?" The colt looks upwards and thinks, he then looks her dead in the eye and nods.

"I can remember everything in my life, except anypony using my name. The reason I'm here is my mentor Tarot. She is teaching me as much magic as she can, all passed to her by her own mentor. I remember practicing a spell from an old Star Swirl book she had given me. Next thing I know, that one," The colt points to Fluttershy, "is making this noise." He imitates the pegasus.

"I bet this is hard on ya." Applejack says. "Heck, when I found ya, looked like ya had been attacked by a pack ah timber-wolves."

"Wait, What?" The colt asks, looking at his obviously clean coat.

"Ya'll were so covered in soot, I thought your coat might've been black." Applejack replies.

"No, no, I get that. But why am I not covered in dirt and dust now?" The blue colt questions her. Four of the ponies in the room look at Rarity. Applejack coughs when she realizes the unicorn can't see them.

"What? It's not like I saw anything." She waves her hooves in-front of her face. "When Fluttershy told me how dirty you were, I just had to help. Sleeping like that can't be good for your complexion." The colts deep blue coat is reddened at his cheeks. He snaps out of it and looks at Applejack. "Did you by chance find a black band where you found me? similar to yours." He points to her ponytail.

"Sorry sugarcube, Ah didn't see nothing like that 'round you. T' be honest Ah wasn't paying much attention when Ah found ya." The colt sighs.

"I'll just have to get a new one later."

"WAIT! We don't know what to call you!"  The pink earth pony yells.

"I would like to learn yours as well, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy." He says pointing to the respective ponies.

"I'm Pinkie Pie!" The pink earth pony exclaims.

"Applejack." The other earth pony states. The grounded pegasus steps up cautiously, "Rainbow Dash."

"And I'm Rarity." The invasive unicorn adds. Inciting a shudder from the blue colt.

"I have to ask," he pipes up, "Is there a reason half of you are blind?" The mares in question groan and explain to him their side of how he appeared in their world.

The blue colt sits up as he listens to their story. Once the mares are done recounting their experiences the blue unicorn assumes a standing -on all fours- position. He immediately collapses to the floor, unable to get up.

"Well," He groans. "It seems you just have a case of flash-blindness. Luckily I can fix your eyes, and probably even teach the spell to the two of you." The colt gestures to the unicorns. "The only thing I ask is help standing until I can cast it." Fluttershy and Applejack help the blue unicorn stand, he closes his eyes and breathes slowly. His horn begins to glow with a feint golden color, he points toward Twilight. The glow changes to a purple similar to her own magic. Twilight blinks as her vision returns, "Thank you." she says, eyes tearing up.

The colt aims his head toward Rainbow Dash, the glow on his horn gains several colours from the purple he had moments before. Rainbow looked around, her eyes blinking rapidly as her eyes adjust to the light. She squees and hugs the colt.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She yells. The colt cringes as he looks toward Rarity, his magic fades to a light blue as the spell is cast on her. She glances at him, "Ooh, so this is who I was cleaning." She looks him over. "Would you model some of my latest designs?"

The blue unicorn lays in the bed after teaching Twilight and Rarity the flash-blindness spell. Outside the room Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are discussing what to call him.

"I think we should let him choose his own name, Pinkie." The pegasus says calmly

"Nonono," The pink pony responds, "We should make a nickname for him!" The two continue to argue until they hear a small pop and see a light beneath the door. Fluttershy burst into the room to see an empty bed. Pinkie Pie rushes downstairs and searches ground floor while Fluttershy flies high, trying to find the unicorn colt.

Flying over the Carousel Boutique, Fluttershy sees a blue form lying near the side. She drops to the ground and trots over to the colt. His eyes twitching in pain.

"Oh, my, how did you get out here?" The pegasus asks.

"I-i think I teleported." The colt gasps. Fluttershy begins to open her mouth. "I don't even know." The colt adds.

Twilight and Rarity are at town hall fixing everyponies eyes from the Flash. Pinkie Pie enters, moving quickly around to her friends. "Have you two seen Blue?" She asks, the two.

"What happened to him?" Twilight questions her friend

"I don't know!" Pinkie yells, "One moment he's there, the next POOF!" Fluttershy walks into the building and quickly over to her friends, avoiding as many ponies as she could.

"I-i found him all the way at your boutique, Rarity." She says quietly.

"How did he get all the way over there?" Twilight asks Fluttershy.

"He says he teleported." Fluttershy responds. She quickly leaves to take the colt back to her cottage.

Fluttershy groans and rolls her eyes as she leaves the town hall. On a bench the blue unicorn is sitting upright watching others pass by.

"W-why do you do that?" She asks, "You remind me of Lyra."

"You know my grandma?" The blue colt asks her -

In Bon-Bon's shop, Lyra turns over to her wife. "Do you think it will be possible for us to have a child of our own?"

• "Wait! This is Ponyville!" The tries to stand, his legs collapse under him again.

"Y-yes?" Fluttershy says, confused by his suddenly abrasive attitude. The colt begins to inch forward, attracting plenty of strange looks. Fluttershy quickly helps him up and begins their walk back to her cottage.
