Rise to Power
Chapter One
Previous ChapterNext ChapterFor the last few months, Nox-Scriptor and Midnight stayed with Twilight Sparkle. Nox-Scriptor was sort of annoyed about not having his own house, while Midnight pranced around Ponyville. Nox-Scriptor was determined to get some bits and save up for a house of his own. Nox-Scriptor did any job he would find. Midnight, on the other hoof, did not work at all.
“Five thousand bits,” Nox-Scriptor yelled in surprise. “Yeah, it does cost that much to build the small house that you want,” said the Architect. “Well, I gotta go and count how many bits I have,” said Nox-Scriptor in a worried voice. Once he got to Twilight's house he got the large bag of bits and dumped it onto the floor. “Why can't Equestria's money system be dollar bills that already have it's money value on them,” mumbled Nox-Scriptor.
It was midday when Nox-Scriptor started counting, but now he could see the sun submerging into the dark abyss and the beautiful moon rising. “Well, I'm finally done. Four thousand and seven hundred fifty, and just two hundred fifty more,” said Nox-Scriptor with a sigh of relief. Nox-Scriptor put every single bit into his bag. “I wonder how angry the guy is gonna be when he has to count all of this,” said Nox-Scriptor with a laugh.
Nox-Scriptor walked to his sleeping bag in the middle on Twilight's library and laid down onto it's soft body. He pondered about his friends and family back on earth. “Are they worried,” Nox-Scriptor asked himself, “or did time on Earth just stop?” Then Nox-Scriptor fell into a deep sleep.
The next day when Nox-Scriptor woke up with his head towards the front door. He noticed that there was Thunder and hard rain. He saw yellow strokes of yellow paint fill the dark gray sky and a large boom come after. He felt that something wasn't right, he just didn't know what. He walked up to the front door of Twilight's house and put his right front hoof on the door. Looking about the room he saw that everyone was asleep.
Nox-Scriptor ran out, not knowing where he was going, he just ran. Sensing danger about, he just ran faster and faster. Suddenly a forest popped into his face. Then he decided to run some more, he did not know where, but he just went. Thunder and lightning in the background. Large explosions and yellow strokes filled the air. Gravity pulling down the cloud's tears.
Then Nox-Scriptor was face to face with a cave. He entered, not knowing why. A maze it seemed to be. There was many routes, but only one he can go. “Right,” said Nox-Scriptor. Right was Nox-Scriptor's favorite direction for everything. Bright flashes of lights from the entrance of the cave brought light into the cave. The darkness brought little fear into Nox-Scriptor's eyes. He saw sudden darkness in front of him. He did not dare to go. He was about to leave until he heard sobbing, sobbing of a scared, lost child. He turned his head towards the sad sound.
“H-hello,” said Nox-Scriptor in a calm, curious voice. The sobbing suddenly stopped. A few clip clops came toward Nox-Scriptor. When the person came out of the darkness, it was just a small filly with Yellow curls and yellow greenish coat.. “Are you lost,” asked Nox-Scriptor. She nodded distrustfully. “Come on, I'll take you home,” said Nox-Scriptor in a calm voice. “Even though I do not know where you live,” mumbled Nox-Scriptor. Nox-Scriptor started to walk towards the exit, but the filly would not move. Did she hear what I said, asked Nox-Scriptor in his head. “Come on, you can trust me,” said Nox-Scriptor in a convincing voice. The small filly started to walk towards him. Then they started to walk beside each other. When they came out of the cave, the raining subsided.
Once they got out of the forest the sun was shining in the bright Equestrian sky. Pegasi fly around to clear the sky. One of them noticed Nox-Scriptor and the small filly, he swooped down and said, “Hello, what are you too doing near the Everfree Forest?” The Pegasus had dark purple eyes that was filled with glee. He also had a dark blue coat with a greenish blue mane and tail.
“Oh, I was looking for this lost filly in the forest,” replied Nox-Scriptor
“Wow, a pony that freely goes into the Everfree Forest? That takes some courage.”
“Yeah, I have to find the mother. I do not know who she is.”
“You went looking for the filly without knowing who the mother is?”
“Heh, yeah.”
“There's a pony over there who claims to have lost a child, maybe it's hers.”
“Yeah, thanks.”
Nox-Scriptor and the filly at his side walk up to the worried pony. The filly ran up the the worried pony saying, “Mommy! Mommy!” The worried pony turned and looked, at one glace a bright big smile sprung across her face. “Oh my, Canary, when the storm came you ran out of my sight so fast! Why did you run away?” asked the mother. “I know we were expecting a storm, but the thunder was so loud that it scared me,” said the small filly. “Next time, do not run,” said the mother with a smile. “And for you,” the mother said to Nox-Scriptor. Nox-Scriptor looked up at the mother. “You saved my child, thank you. How did you know,” asked the mother. “Well, I don't know, I just had a strong feeling and just followed it,” said Nox-Scriptor in an unsure voice. A crowed cheered, it scared Nox-Scriptor when they did. Nox-Scriptor was not sure why saving a child from a forest was a big thing, maybe that's the way it is in Equestria. A few yards (or meters for people in other parts of the world) G-man disguised as a pony was looking at Nox-Scriptor with a dark and sinister face.
