//-------------------------------------------------------// When Each Day Falls -by aliissy- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// 2: Visiting Twilight //-------------------------------------------------------// 2: Visiting Twilight When she arrived at Twilight's apartment, her heart was still pounding, her adrenaline still not worn off. She felt like she could break down this door with her bare fists, and even attack bears! She tried to calm her shaking hands, and knocked a few times on Twilight's door, apartment 3D on the 3rd floor. Her whole body was shaking. She couldn't control it. Her experience in the forest was something she never wanted again. Ever. "Hey Silver! What brings you he-" Twilight said as she opened her door, quickly cut off by Silver shoving past her and sitting on her couch, putting a hand on her forehead trying to calm herself down. "Silver, are you okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost!" Twilight, seeing how bad her friend looked, followed her to the living room. "I practically just did. Either that, or I'm fucking crazy." Silver said, trying to slow her breathing and shaking. "What makes you say that, Silver?" Twilight said, getting her friend and herself a cold glass of water. She sat down on the couch next to Silver, and felt her friends arm and forehead. She was shaking uncontrolably and was burning up. "I-uh.. you're going to think I'm crazy. But I have proof back at my apartment! God, I'm so stupid! Why didn't I bring it with me?!" Silver started going on about her mistake, and finally snapped out of her stupid rant to herself. "I-I... I think I just saw a zombie. And killed it. Again. It was already dead. That makes sense, right?" "I-uh.. what? You what?" Twilight was shocked. Twilight had noticed she subconciously moved her hand over her mouth out of this news. Silver had looked at Twilight, expecting the reaction she just saw. She studied Twilight's face, noticing her concerned dark purple eyes, purple hair and bangs with a pink streak going down. She has always had a light skin, but her face looked pale after Silver's news. "I was stretching in the forest. And a noise-Look. I'll explain later. Get everyone else here, and turn on the news channel. I want to see if this is happening to anyone else." Silver laid back farther into the couch. Twilight took orders, and started calling the rest of their friends; Rainbow Dash, AppleJack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. As Silver was watching the news, a story came up about a shop called Marian's Fabric being over run with undead creatures. And another live camera was filiming from a street in New York City, showing undead creatures wandering through the streets, and attacking innocent bystanders. "Twi... TWILIGHT! IT'S EVERYWHERE! GET THEM HERE NOW!" Silver immediately jumped up and dragged Twilight into the room to watch the news while she finished calling. "Looks like we're makin zombie plans, Twilight!" Silver had called to her friend in the other room, now dialing numbers into her phone. "And quite honestly, I'm a little excited..." She thought to herself with a smirk on her face... //-------------------------------------------------------// 3: Arrivals and Plans //-------------------------------------------------------// 3: Arrivals and Plans When everyone arrived unharmed, Silver was as calm as she had ever been. Everyone but Silver was huddled around the TV, all watching with curious and scared eyes. Silver is standing ways away in the kitchen unnoticed, studying them and their reactions. Rainbow Dash, with her rainbow hair and her purple eyes. She was smiling and seemed excited for a zombie apocalypse. "One in the same, Dashie." Silver thought to herself with a smile. Rarity, with her purple curls, blue eyes, and stunning eyelashes was chewing her freshly painted manicured nails, something she never does. Pinkie Pie and her bright pink curls are usually bouncing everywhere, but right now she was upset. And somehow she also looked excited down inside. And Fluttershy, the scaredy cat of scaredy cats. Her long light pink hair laying gently on her shoulders and her bangs covering her bright blue eyes. She was for sure scared. And lastly, the tough AppleJack. Her long blonge hair tied back in a ponytail, almost ready for action. Her bright green eyes looked as if they were filled with mixed emotions on the current situation, though. But she could always take on a rumble. "Alright, everyone. We need a plan." Silver said, immerging from the darkness of the kitchen with a stern look on her face. "We need to find the rest of our family and friends, and get somewhere safe. This is obviously a zombie out-break. We need to study how fast they are, what they react to-" "Silver, ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Exclaimed Rarity throwing her hands up. "Nope. Just smart. We all need a zombie plan. There's no way we're going to survive by just hiding in this apartment. And what about our other friends and family?!" Silver retorted back to Rarity. Rarity slumped back into the couch with an obvious hmph, knowing her mane and hooves were going to get dirty. "I'm with Silver, everyone. We need to find our friends and family, then we can go into hiding, because God knows when this-whatever it is, is going to end!" Rainbow said, sounding a little pissed off at the world. "Now, we all need to gear up, and go shopping and stock up on as much as possible. And we need to do it today, before this apocalypse gets any worse. You all clear?" Said Silver pacing through the room. Sounds of agreement rang through the living room. "Why don't we all go to Wal-Mart right now?" Rainbow said, her fists in two balls, ready to fight. "Sounds good to me! Everyone, get the proper clothing on. You never know what me might run into at Wal-Mart..." Silver said, tightening her shoe laces. "Well then, I guess it's zombie hunting time." Twilight said as they walked out the door, all bracing themselves for the apocalypse... //-------------------------------------------------------// 1: First Sighting //-------------------------------------------------------// 1: First Sighting It was a bright and sunny day in the city of Austin, Texas. Silver had been hoping for the forest to be a quiet and a concluded place for her to do some stretches and exercises. She rolled out her blue yoga mat, squishy beneath her toes. She doesn't really use it for yoga, only for nice surfaces. She began by leaning over her left side, reaching over her head and pointing her arm towards her toes, then she would switch to the right side. It was only about 10 minutes when she started hearing a noise a little ways away. "Ugh, great. Someone is watching me. That's the last thing I needed." She thought to herself, stopping her stretches and looking around. "HEY, PERVERT! GET OUT OF HERE!" She yells into the empty forest, still with no one in sight. She reaches around and rests her hand on her small, but effective, pocket knife. She had always promised herself to only use it if needed. For safety reasons. She let her hand relax after a few minutes of silence, and began to stretch again, trying to not let the paranoid side of her reach its limits. Just as she was calming down, she sees a figure merge from the trees with blood splattered and dried to it's body and face. "Oh my God.. oh.. oh my God." She didn't even know what to think to herself seeing this figure. She was numb. She couldn't move. Suddenly, the figure spotted Silver and a weird roar escaped its throat. Thankfully the roar snapped Silver out of it, reaching for her yoga mat. The figure was sprinting at her, not too fast, but effectively. She quickly grabs her blue mat and starts running back towards the path to her home. With the figure hot on her heels, she gets an idea. "I'll roll up my mat, turn around, and stun the figure by hitting it across the face, then stab it in the heart!" Her heart was pounding a new pace she had never experienced before, and never wished to experience again. Nearing the end of the forest path, she rolls up her blue mat, ready to take action. Her red hair was whipping in the wind, her adrenaline pumping through her veins. She quickly turns around, seeing the figure up close now. She quickly hit it across the face with all her strength. Knocking it back to the ground, it's lifeless. She quickly studies the face; dirty blonde hair, obviously a male, blood dried from wounds on its cheeks and forehead. Purple-blue-ish lips, and dark blue bags under its eyes. She then reaches back for her knife, ready to stab the figure, but then pulls back her hand realizing it was dead already. "Don't tell me that's a zombie, that's impossible..." She mutters in between big gulps of air. She quickly leaves the path, swearing to herself to never come back again. She stops by her apartment, sticks the bloody mat into the sink, changes her clothes, and heads to her friend's apartment, Twilight.
