The Fall of the Queen

Shortly after the failure at the wedding in Canterlot, many changelings questioned the leadership skills of their queen. Many asked why even go through the trouble of trying to marry Armor in the first place, why not just kill him and Celestia then and there, which she clearly could have done.

A general of the armies had actually gone to her personally to discuss the reason why she wanted to marry the Captain anyway. The queen of course did not provide an answer, only saying she was “busy” with royal work. This act had confirmed the suspicion of the rumors that were spreading rapidly over  the badlands already, the rumor that she had a soft spot for him. To the others this was unacceptable, as no elite member of the Hive had EVER loved anyone or anything, her mother was a cold calculating woman, who did what was best for the hive, she was not concerned with other counties affairs, only her own kind was what mattered to her above all else. But this new Queen was much too young to understand what she was truly to do. As such, the populous rebelled and had the former queen executed, much to the liking of the others. Within the next day a new leader was selected, she was the sister of the late queen, and as such had some experience in the royal business. A year had passed with her as ruler, and already the changelings were at their best in all aspects, they took over the neighboring tribes and united them as one sole  unit, and renamed themselves the Changeling Dominion.
