Chapters *FLUTTERSHY'S POV*
"LUNCHTIME, MY FRIENDS!" I call my animal friends as they come inside the cottage for their lunch I made for them today. They look so cute scurrying around for their food; they are really perfect company, especially when I get lonely at times since I do not really go to alot of social gatherings. I actually get the creeps everytime I go to places like that, oh the crowds, lots of ponies...oh my. Plus the feeling of ponies being squished against me while dancing or moving around. That is such an awkward moment and situation to be in so that is why I rather hang out with my animal friends. As the animals are eating, I go upstairs to brush my pink flowing locks since I did not have a chance to look nice for this beautiful day today in Ponyville.
I hum to myself a sweet song as I brush my hair freely before my bird friends come to help braid my hair.
"Isn't this a very beautiful day, my friends?" I ask them.
They tweet and chirp as a positive response that they agree.
"I know right? I just want to sing and dance!" I gush. "But first of all, I have to go collect some berries to make some cherry pie today."
The birds tweet like crazy since they love to eat the cherry pies that I bake.
"I know, I know you're excited." I giggle at their excitement. "But I have to go get berries. Don't expect that they'll be ready in just a second." I say, facing the birds.
They nod in understanding as they fix up the last braid.
"I look so nice! Thank you, Jimmy, Mary and Rosie!" I smile at them appreciatively.
Rosie chirps like she is trying to say "You're welcome!".
"Now, I'll see you all in a bit okay?" I say as I take my basket and go on my way.
I flap my wings towards the meadows with bunches and bunches of cherry bushes. I can not help but look around in awe at the beautiful scenery I have that surrounds me. The smiling, swaying trees, the singing wind blowing their leaves, the grass looking fresh and soft like a green blanket and the sun shining the most beautiful rays in the blue ocean sky.
I find a nearby bush, start picking cherries and putting them into my basket. I take a deep breath to breathe in the sweet air of nature. This is exactly where I would love to spend every single day at. The gorgeous yet peaceful meadows, where nopony disturbs you and that you can enjoy all the wonders and exotics that nature offers, plus new types of animals too that I would love to make friends with.
Suddenly, I hear a noise. Startled, I look around finding the source to the sound.
Arf! it says. Arf!
Gradually, the sound starts to get closer. Could there be a lost animal here? Oh, the poor little thing!
Ten minutes later, I finally find the source of the noise. It is the barking of a lost white stray dog whose leg got stuck under a fallen tree branch. Quickly, I flap wings towards the poor creature and I reassure it.
"Oh, you poor little thing." I coo as I help the puppy unstuck itself by removing the tree branch that has been squishing it.
My heart falls as I see the pain and fear in its eyes and how it is shivering in my arms.
"It's okay, hun. It's okay." I comfort it, patting its fur reassuringly. Eventually, the puppy calms down under my sweet, reassuring touch. "Alrighty. I'm going to take you to my cottage so that I can take care of your wounds and also find your owner. Plus, my animal friends will love to meet you!" I say as I begin to take off to my cottage, with the puppy and the cherry basket in my hooves.
*RAINBOW DASH'S POV*
I am chilling on my cloud, looking at the view below me of Ponyville as I'm finished with my weather duty tasks.
"Hmmmm...I wonder what I wanna do today?" I ask myself out loud. I honestly did not know what I want to do today since I have nothing to do. Thinking about it, I decide to fly around Ponyville as I think about it. The cool breeze blow through my vibrant hair as I fly past the houses and buildings of each pony civilian. I close my eyes in satisfaction when I take some twirls and spins in the sky until I see the next cloud in front of me.
I land on the cloud and observe that is under me now. It is an empty yet beautiful, luscious meadow with all the fresh yet healthy bushes. I realize that there is also a yellow body near one of the bushes. Wondering to see what it is, I scoot closer and closer towards the thing. It is none other than Fluttershy picking cherries from the bushes. Probably for some cherry pie she's baking today. I thought to myself. After all, I really love her pies. They're so organic.
As I am feeling bored, I quietly fly down and hide in the nearest bush to the yellow pony without scaring her. I peek at her picking cherries and observe her for pretty much six minutes already. I can not help but pay more attention to her features up close. Her long, luscious flowing pink hair in braids shining in the sun, her gorgeous, precious yet smooth yellow coat covering her silhouette and her beautiful yet soothing voice as I listen to her hum an inaudible tune.
Damn, she is beautiful.
I thought to myself as I observe her. But she doesn't know that I like her....oh well. It isn't really that big. It's just a crush. I'll get over it. I rationalize. I have been in love with this yellow fluff ever since when I first meet her at Flight Academy back at Cloudsdale. I still reminisce when I first walk in on her, she is singing a song to herself loud enough that anypony can hear. That is when the lovebug starts to bite me at this part. Her beautiful voice, her personality and pretty everything about her. She pretty much catch my breath and my heart. If only Fluttershy knows about what I really feel about her.
I then notice her walking towards the Everfree Forest. I perk my ears up, feeling the urge to stop her from going into that dangerous place.
Don't go in there! I want to say. But she is too far away for me to be heard. Minutes later, I see Fluttershy with a little white fluff ball that looks like some little animal she pick up from there. She couldn't possibly pick up a poison fluff ball from the forest? I shake my head. Don't assume things, Dash. I need to ask her what's that thing she's holding.
I decide to slowly follow her to her cottage which is where she is going to.
*FLUTTERSHY'S POV*
I step foot in my house, seeing a very impatient Angel Bunny patting his foot with impatience.
"Oh, I am so sorry I am late. It is just, I met a new friend along the way and it looks like she's lost." I explain as I cuddle the puppy.
Angel Bunny nods in understanding yet compassionately as he stare at the pup with compassion.
I let go of the puppy as she begins walking around, exploring her surroundings of my cottage.
Angel Bunny raise a brow at me like if he is trying to ask me about the puppy.
"Oh, well I really don't know her name yet but for now her name will be Sweet Pea. Plus, she's injured so I have to take care of her." I say to him as I reach for my saddlebag, taking out my first aid kit.
"Come here, sweetie! I need to take care of your injuries." I whistle to Sweet Pea, beckoning the white pup to come to me.
Hesitantly, she come to me, letting me examine her wounds. I intently examine the wound near her leg where the tree branch squished her.
"This might hurt just a bit." I say as I took out a cleaning spray, spraying at the wound.
Sweet Pea yelp to the pain.
"It's okay." I coo to her, gently patting her head before I get a gauze and some linen.
Just then, a knock is heard at my door.
"Come in!" I say.
My door opens to reveal a friend of mine with those pink rose friendly eyes, blue toned body and colorful hair. It is none other than Rainbow Dash indeed.
*RAINBOW DASH'S POV*
"Hey, Fluttershy!" I greet her, who is seen treating the white fluffy thing.
"Hey, Rainbow Dash." says Fluttershy, giving me a smile that makes my knees go weak every single time.
"May I help you?"
"Nothing really. I just want to come by to say what's up. So what's up Flutters?"
"I'm treating this poor little lost puppy that I found hurt near a tree in the Everfree Forest. Look at the poor thing." she says, picking up the animal to show it to me. The puppy is adorable, alright. Its huge black eyes boring them into mine, its cute little nose and the white fur.
"Aw, it is so cute!" I gush. I walk towards the animal, petting its head. "What its name?"
"I really don't know. I named her Sweet Pea for now; I'll be taking care of her while I'm looking for her owner." Fluttershy replies.
"Oh." I nod in understanding. "Would you like some help?"
"That would be nice! B-but, are y-you sure if y-you want to?" asks Fluttershy shyly as usual.
I chuckle. "Of course I want to. That's why I ask right?" I wink at her before I give her a joking nudge on the shoulder.
"Eep!" she yelps at the sudden nudge. I can not help but stifle a giggle from her adorableness.
She's too cute. I thought to myself. Cute?! No way! I cannot possibly think of my very best friend that way. I snap to myself.
"Anyways," I say, shaking off the thought. "What would you like me to do?"
"You can wash her while I make her food and later on we can take her out for a little walk." Fluttershy says.
"Sounds cool! Alrighty, let's get started!" I say, feeling pumped up for the task.
"Okey dokey!" she says, clopping her hooves Twilight Sparkle-style.
It is pretty cute how she does that with her hooves. She actually looks cute doing that, when Twilight does that, dude she looks ridiculous as fuck. I roll my eyes at the thought.
"Alrighty little buddy." I say to the puppy as I pick her up. "Ready for your shower?"
Hours later, after I wash the dog and Fluttershy feeds her, we take her out for a walk to the dog park along with Angel Bunny. Oh Angel Bunny. Ugh, sometimes I wonder why Fluttershy really loves that annoying yet an arrogant little bunny like Angel Bunny? I always ask myself this every single time whenever Angel Bunny tries messing with me and he always succeeds which I am not really that satisfied about.
"Okay, Sweet Pea and Angel Bunny. Don't go too far and don't cause any trouble alright? Fluttershy say to the little animals before they begin playing around with each other and other things little animals do.
"Aww, aren't they so adorable, Dashie?" Fluttershy gush to me as she faces me. I blush. Fluttershy has never call me "Dashie" before. Well of course, Pinkie always call me that which drives me nuts sometimes but I pretty much got used to it. But when Fluttershy calls me "Dashie", well that is a complete different ballgame. I look at her features intently as I sit next to her, how those super gorgeous yet soft pink flowing hair connects so well with her yellow and curvy silhouette. Plus, her beautiful sapphire eyes. I am literally just lost in it, as I stare into those blue pearls of hers.
"Rainbow?" Fluttershy interrupts my train of thoughts.
"Wha?" I stir, bonking my head to try to get back to reality. "You say something?"
"Well I was saying that Sweet Pea and Angel Bunny looks so adorable playing. Is there something on your mind?" she asks, tilting her head in confusion.
"Nothing really!" I say nervously.
"I-if you say soo.." she replies hesitantly before she turns her focus back on Sweet Pea and Angel Bunny.
"It's just that you're....beautiful and I like you..." I mutter to myself low enough for Fluttershy to not hear. Oh...so I finally admit to myself that I like Fluttershy still.

"Alrighty guys. Playtime is over! It is time for your naps." Fluttershy says to Sweet Pea and Angel Bunny. Angel gives her a disapproving look probably meaning that he doesn't want to take a nap quite yet. I roll my eyes at the stupid bunny. Ugh, Angel Bunny sometimes always gets me on my nerves, especially that rude attitude of his. How and why would somepony kind and sweet like Fluttershy love a rude and annoying pest like Angel? I ask myself this question all the time whenever I visit Fluttershy. I remember this one time when I visit Fluttershy in her garden and that stupid buffoon of a bunny bounced on me, giving my wings scratches with his claws so Fluttershy have to give me little band-aids for a week for my scratched wings. What the fudge is his problem with me? I don't think I will ever understand Angel Bunny.
"Okay, Rainbow Dash. Time to take the animals back to my cottage for their nap." says Fluttershy, interrupting my thoughts about Angel.
"Oh, okay." I blush as those annoying thoughts immediately left all thanks to her beautiful, soothing voice. It even sounds melodious when she is talking.
Minutes later, we finally make it to Fluttershy's cottage. She then prepares the beds for the little animals to snuggle up near the fireplace.
"Have a nice nap, my little friends." she coos as she gives each of them a gentle kiss on the cheeks.
My legs literally begin to feel like jelly just now. I wish those sweet lips of hers are on mine or my cheeks, I bet they feel so sweet and soft yet blissful. I sigh to myself at the thought. Fluttershy is definitely a very lucky pony since she catches the heart of Equestria's fastest yet charismatic flier, which is me. If only she knows that or if she feels the same way, which I so doubt it.
"Ya want a drink, Dashie?" asks Fluttershy.
"Sure..." my voice lingers, gazing at her facial features and her silhouette which glows beautifully with the glow of the fire from the fireplace.. Gladly, she doesn't notice when she gets up to get me a drink from the kitchen.

*FLUTTERSHY'S POV*
Rainbow Dash has been acting so weird lately. Earlier, when we took Angel Bunny and Sweet Pea to go play outside, I would always notice her giving me quick glances, how she sounded affectionate towards me and how a couple minutes ago, I notice her gazing at me intently with googly, half-lidded eyes.
I blush at the thought of the way she stares at me. As I am at the sink, getting a cup of water for my guest and friend, I start to wonder about her weird behavior. Why is she staring at me that way? Do I have something on my face? That suddenly reminds me that I didn't wash my face this morning....oh my. Can that be the reason why she's staring at me like that? And how she sounds affectionate towards me...well typically a friend should be affectionate towards their friends in a friendly way but I know Rainbow Dash since forever. She never really sounds that affectionate to anypony before, which causes me to ask myself even more questions; the more questions I ask myself, the more curious I get. Hmmm...I put myself into thinking mode as I lean on the kitchen counter, trying to figure out Rainbow Dash's behavior today. What is it? What is it? I ask myself, pensively.
"Fluttershy?" The hairs on my body perks up as I turn around swiftly behind me where I see Rainbow Dash's presence here.
"Is there anything wrong?" she asks me, worriedly.
I shake my head. "Oh no, nothing is wrong. It's just....oh nothing." I say in defeat, not knowing what I should say besides thinking.
"Nothing?" Dash smirks."Ya sure?"
I blush. "I'm positively sure! Everything's fine!"
All of a sudden, Dash pokes me. "Nah, not even. You're not telling me something." she winks. "Tell me, tell me!" she begins to walk towards me as a result of me being between her and the kitchen wall. My heart starts to pound. What to do? What to do? I thought frantically as Rainbow Dash's proximity begins to close off my personal space which ends with her face inches close to mine.
"I-I'm positive, Rainbow Dash. Everything's fine....and you're invading my personal space." I say.
As a result, she then begin to place her hooves on the wall hard with my head between them.
"What are you doing?" I ask, afraid.
Then in a snap, her lips start to press against mine. I squeal at the sudden contact, eyes wide open in shock. I then start to look at Dash's facial features up close, excuse the lips. Her colorful hair shines beautifully with the fire at the fireplace at my living room, her face is blue like a baby blue bird, and her lips feel so soft. I then begin to feel sparks beginning to electrocute in me as Dash's lips add more pressure. My pink tail swishes back and forth in anticipation as my eyes start to droop, melting into the kiss and Dash's touch. Rainbow then pulls away from the kiss, looking me in the eyes in a loving way.
"I'm in love with you, Fluttershy." she says passionately.
I look at her in shock, mouth agape.
"Y-y-you're in love with me?" I stutter.
"Yes." she nods. "I have been in love with you ever since I first you. I guess, this crush I have on you is pretty deep alright. I thought that it's just a little crush that will wear off but I was wrong. I love you, Flutters. " she smiles, giving me a soft nudge on my muzzle with hers.
I cannot believe what I just heard from her. My very own friend that I've known since forever is in love with me? And now she confesses to me? But her confession is pretty sweet, it makes my knees go weak, my cheeks turning red and heating up and a smile begins to crawl on my face, especially how she calls me 'Flutters'.
"Aw, Dashie! I love you too! And you're so cute." I say, finally not stuttering for the first time in my life. I wrap my hooves around her and pulls her into a very warm embrace. She happily returned it with eager.
"You're cuter." Dash teases.
"No you are." I tease back.
"No you are." We tease each other back and forth about this and we ended up laughing at our foolishness.
Dash then puts her arm around my neck and plants another sweet kiss on my lips.
"You're really lucky Fluttershy, you know that?"
I nod in agreement. "I do." I nuzzle her cheek affectionately as she plants another kiss on my cheek.
Then, I hear a new sound. It was the sound of somepony snickering. Leaving Dash's arms to find the source of the sound, it was none other than Angel Bunny laughing his head off. Sweet Pea gives us a smirk and a doggy wink while Angel Bunny is rolling on the floor, laughing. Oh my, could they possibly caught us kissin' and huggin' and teasin'. How embarrassing, even though they're just animals.
Rainbow Dash does a facehoof. "Oh for Pete's Sake, shut up, you little annoying bunny!" she yells at him.
I cannot help but giggle at Dash's annoyance and Angel Bunny's rolling abouts on the floor.
