As Sovu stood up from his kneeling position, he looked around. Everything was bright and vivid, like something out of a child's imagination. As Sovu cleared his head, he tried to rub his temples with his fingers - And realized that he no longer had fingers. "Woah..." He said. He looked down at his body. His father had told the truth; He was a pony. He had blood-red fur, elegant, feathery wings, (also red,) and, down at his flank, there was a circled area where the red was a bit lighter than the rest. "This... Is... Totally... Fucking... Crazy..." He took a minute to clear his thoughts, then looked down to where the sword, Ehrung, laid.

"Hmm..." Taking the sword out of it's sheath, he slowly admired it's craftmanship. He had never had a chance to examine it up close before. It was made of lightly-blued steel, well tempered and strong. The blade was a single edged hand and a half weapon. Inscripted upon the blade in the center of the dull edge was the Holy Star of David, a sacred symbol to the religion Judaism, as well as to some of his own religion. He grinned at the shining metal, then put it back into the scabbard.

He strapped the leather around his chest and back, and walked West. He didn't know where to go, but he decided the best thing he could do was try and find civilization. After several hours, he came upon a small pool of water. "Oh, thank the Lord," He said, kneeling before the pond. "I'm dying of thirst!" As he brought his mouth to the water and quickly lapped up a few mouthfuls, he noticed his forehead for the first time: There was a horn growing out of it.

"Woah! He said, stepping back. He inched closer to the water and, upon further inspection, there was a horn. He chuckled. He touched the tip of the horn, and smiled. He stood up and began walking West again. He didn't stop. He didn't think about where he was going. He just... Kept... Walking. He knew that if he kept going, he'd eventually either come to a village, or the edge of the earth.

He walked for so very long. It had been almost a week when he finally ran out of energy, and collapsed, exhausted. He couldn't see anything, he was so very weak. As he lay upon the ground, he looked around, licking he dry lips and trying find a way to stand. "Got... To... Get... Up..." He whispered, pain coursing through him with every breath. "Gotta... Find... Him..." Slowly, his eyes began to close. Everything began going black. In his final moments of consciousness, Sovu saw a white blur coming before him. He wasn't sure what, or who, it was. He was a bit afraid, not sure what it would do to him, weak and helpless.

"What are you..." He managed to get out. Then, darkness. Complete, and utter, darkness.
