Job Advancement

"Finally level seventy!" Golden Apple said a.k.a Applebloom as they were walking on a rocky towards the mountain city Perion.

"We can finally job advance into Crusaders!" Sweetest Treat said who is obviously Sweetie Belle.

"Then our guild name will make sense!" Rainbow Cannon said other wise known as Scootaloo.

"Why did we name the guild 'The Cutie Mark Crusaders' anyway?" Dragonborn asked or Spike.

"Because we voted on it." Applebloom said with the other two nodding in agreement.

"That's not fair though it was three to one."

"Look we're not arguing about this anymore, we cant change the guild name anyhow." the earth filly said before looking ahead. "Perion's right up ahead come on lets get a move on!" she as she dash towards the city.

"Wait up!" the remaining three said before running after her.

"So we gotta do what again?" Scootaloo asked as they stood outside the job advancement building.

"Didn't you read what the npc said at all?" Spike said before continuing. "We gotta go to Kerning and find some stone at the highest point then it'll automatically advance us."

"Isn't Kerning the place with all the tall buildings and thieves everywhere?" Sweetie asked since she rarely visited the area.

"And dont you have to go and do a jump quest so you get to the top?" Applebloom added.

"Yes and yes, now we're wasting time just standing here lets go." he said starting to walk to the west exit of the town before bumping into a object. "Ow!" he said falling to he rump before looking up at what he crashed into. It was a Orange machine with hundreds of capsules inside. There was a sign attached saying 'Gachapon! win prizes, fame and more prizes! Located at every town. "Huh never saw this before." Spike said ,getting up and brushing himself off before setting to the exit again this time not bumping into anything.

They entered Kerning and headed for the jump quest entrance.

"That's really high." the unicorn said while looking up at the giant rusty abandoned construction site.

"So uh who's first?" Spike said getting a little intimidated by the sheer size of the place.

Being the daredevil she was Scootaloo stepped forward. "I'll go! Just watch me do this easily." as soon as she got in closer proximity to the construction site a rope appeared from thin air and wrapped its self round her wings."Hey! What gives?"

"It's to make you dont cheat! I'll probably get one on my horn too." Sweetie called out.

"Well that made is harder." Scootaloo grumbled before jumping onto the first ladder climbing up. "That wasnt too hard! One down-" she looked up. "who knows how many more." the pegasus looked down to her friends. "You guys coming or what?" she called down before jumping a gap that lead to a ramp.

"Here we go." Spike said before catching up follow by his other two friends.

"This is getting repetitive." Sweetie said now barley noticing herself jumping a gap and grabbing on to a rope.

"Worst part we're weighted down by all our weapons, armor and junk." Spike said, looking in his bag and pulling out snail shells and tossing him down.

"Spike! Thats littering!" Applebloom scolded.

"It's a game nobody cares." he said undifferent

"You still shouldn't do it!" she huffed. "Karma is a witch and she's coming after you."

"Please, I never believed in that mumbo jum-" the dragon didn't get to finish as the floor broke and he fell towards the bottom.

"I told you!" she yelled before catching up with Scootaloo and Sweetie.

"About you caught up!" Scootaloo said as she looked behind Applebloom. "Hey where's Scaly?"

"Oh he fell to the bottom." the earth filly said nonchalancely.

"He fell?" Scootaloo said with a eyebrow raised up.

"Is he okay?" Sweetie asked worried.

"Relax I'm sure hes just dandy, plus he survived worst. Like remember the time he fell in a well in Henesys with a piranna?" Applebloom said.

"Or the time he fell of Orbis Tower?" Scootaloo added.

"He sure falls alot." Sweetie chipped in.

"Yeah he's pretty clusmy when it comes to high places." Applebloom nodded.

"Nice to know you girls think im clusmy." Spike said looking pretty beatin up. "I kept falling and falling smashing through so many wooden platforms." he said pulling out a red potion and drinking down. "Lets just get this over with." he said, now taking the lead and climbing higher.

"We made it!" Applebloom said as they made it to the top of the site. Although there was nothing there the sky and the roof they were standing on.

"But where is the stone?" Sweetie asked, just then a old and powerful sounding voice echoed and said. "If you want the stone you have to answer a riddle."

"Okay then give us the riddle!" Scootaloo challenged the voice.

"What has four legs then two legs and ends with three?" the voice said pretty much confusing three of them immediately, but the last member of there group had it. "You are a human!" Spike called out.

"Correct. Take the stone and don't come back." the voice said grumbling about how kids these days look everything up on the internet. When the voice stopped the stone appeared infront of then with a note saying 'touch me'.

"Wow Spike how'd you know the answer to that question?" Scootaloo asked.

"Living in a library does you wonders. That and some crazy green mare always stops by and checks out books about humans."

"So looks like stone." Applebloom said before  poking it causing her to glow.

"Woah I feel more powerful." she said checking her selfover, The rest of them touched to stone too and advanced.

"We advanced! Only one problem though." Sweetie said.

"And that is?" Spike questioned.

"How do we get down?"
