Discord's Experiment

Spitfire flies down from the Wonderbolts Race Track and lands on a small platform with several other Wonderbolts landing behind her.
Soarin walks up to her looking annoyed. "Well Spitfire looks like you win. Again."
Spitfire nods. "Don't beat yourself up about it. It isn't your fault I'm the best."
Spitfire laughs and kisses him. She walks over to a saddlebag sitting on a bench and pulls out two tickets to see the Royal Gardens.
Soarin looks at the tickets and shakes his head. "No way Spity thats where Discord's statue is being held. A little scary, don't you think?"
Spitfire sighs. "But you owe me for our last date when you set the restraunt on fire."
Soarin chuckles and then sighs. "Yeah. That was pretty fun though wasn't it?"
"Are you kidding? I've been to funerals more romantic than that!"
Soarin gets on his knees. "But if Discord gets out again he might destroy us all!"
"Fine then I guess i'll just go alone. There'll be lots of rich handsome stallions there..."
"No! Don't do that. You could get hurt! I guess I might be able to… you know. Possibly accompany you to it maybe?"
Spitfire smiles and kisses him. "I knew that'd change your mind."

Vinyl Scratch stands on a stage playing music for a crowd of dancing ponies below her. as she walks off the stage to take a break her friend Lyra walks up to swaying like she's drunk with Bon Bon and Cloudshaser trying to help her walk.
Lyra smiles brightly and laughs. "DJ P0N-3 you are AMAZING! You've got to come with us tomorrow to the Royal Gardens."
Bon Bon nods. "It'll be a lot of fun!"
Cloudshaser smiles and hands Vinyl a ticket.
Vinyl shrugs. "I don't know. It sounds pretty boring..."
Lyra cuts her off with a whine. "Please Vinyl we need you to come!"
Cloudchaser nods. "Yeah Vinyl. If you don't come then everypony will be going gaga for Octavia!"
Vinyl frowns. "I hate Octavia. Thinks she's so great cause she can play the cello. Cello playing piece of...
Bon Bon purposefully interrupts her. "Come on Vinyl we need to go. Discord's statue will be there and some ponies think he might come back. If he does we need to be ready."
Lyra slaps Bon Bon across the face. "Shut up Bon Bon. Why would that make her want to go?"
Vinyl sighs. "Fine i'll go already. But if they don't have any booze we're leaving."
Lyra sways back and forth in delight. "Deal!"

Doctor whooves bucks the manticore across the face and grabs the envelope from its mouth.
The Doctor shouts at his pegasus friend flying overhead. "Derpy! I got it c'mere quickly before he gets you!"
Derpy runs in zig-zags to the Doctor and smiles.
"Muffin!"
The Doctor sighs. "Wait till we get home Derpy!"
Derpy hangs her head and follows him as they run through the woods away from the manticore.
Doctor Whooves smiles at Derpy. "Now that we've gotten Mrs. Punch's mail back we can get you a muffin."
Derpy giggles and smiles at the thought of eating muffins. At that moment Berry Punch runs over to them and takes the mail.
Berry Punch: Thank you so much Doctor and Derpy!
She pulled three tickets out of the envelope and gave two to the Doctor.
"Thank you both for saving my mail from that beast. Here have these two tickets to Celestia's garden party."
Doctor Whooves smiles and looks them over.
"Thanks! I wouldn't have wanted to miss a historic day like this." The Doctor said happily.
Derpy giggles. "If they have muffins then I'm there!"
Doctor Whooves smiles at Berry Punch and leads Derpy to his house where he hands her a muffin.
Derpy smiles and rips apart the muffin with big pieces of it falling out.
Whooves sighs. "Come on Derpy! You've got muffin in your hair!"
Doctor Whooves cleans out Derpy's hair and hands her a ticket. "Don't loose this Derpy. I want you there and on time."
Big Macintosh walks through Sweet Apple Acres pulling a plow and plowing up the ground when Cheerilee walks up to him.
Cheerilee smiles. "Hi Big Mac. I was wondering if you were free tomorrow evening and if you might want to go to the Royal Garden openings with me."
Big Mac replies with his one word catchphrase. "Eeyup."
"Great! I'll see you later Big Mac." Cheerilee says before walking away.

Spitfire and Soarin walk into the Royal Garden to be greeted by their good friend Fancy Pants.
Soarin laughs. "Hey! Not much of a surprise to see you here."
Fancy Pants nods. "Yes. I make it a point to come to all the social gatherings that I can.
Soarin turns to Spitfire. "Hey Spity I'm going to go get us some drinks. Alright?"
As soon as she nods he walks off and passes by Luna talking to Celestia.
Celestia whispers to her sister. "Would it be all right if I left you to go greet some of the other guests?"
Luna nods and watches as her sister walks to the reception table. As she turns to leave. She runs into Twilight Sparkle talking with her brother.
Luna smiles. "Twilight? So glad to see a farmilliar face amongst all these ponies."
Twilight turns to see Luna talking to her. "Oh. Hi Princess. There's somepony I think you'd like to meet."
Twilight holds out her hoof toward Shining Armor and Cadence.
"This is my brother Shining Armor and his wife Cadence." She says proudly.
Luna smiles faintly. "How do you do?"
Shining Armor bows. "Nice to finally meet the princess of the night."
Luna steps back. "I-I need a minute and then'll be right back."
She walks away and sighs as she gets away from them. She walks into Derpy and apologizes profusely for spilling her drink.
The Doctor sees the commotion with Derpy and walks over to help. "It's quite alright princess. She makes so many spills she might as well not even use cups."
Derpy giggles and turns to see the reception table muffins. Her eyes widen and she licks her lips.
"MUFFINS!"
She runs as fast as she can to the refreshment table knocking over ponies as she runs. Vinyl Scratch stands up and continues to walk alongside Lyra, Bon Bon, and Cloudchaser. Vinyl looks at the stage to see Octavia playing her cello.
An evil smile spreads across Vinyl's face. "Hey girls let's throw eggs at her."
Lyra looks at her quizzically. "What eggs?"
Vinyl sighs. "You're right there are no eggs here."
She looks around and sees the muffins on the reception table.
"Those'll work." She says happily.
Bon Bon nods. "Okay!"
As they walk towards the table they pass Big Mac and Cheerilee walking in. Cheerilee sighs when she spots Flim and Flam messing with Discord's statue.
"Now what are they up to?"
Big Mac walks up to them and Cheerilee follows. Flim and Flam look over at them.
Flim smiles at his brother. "Well Flam we need to create a little chaos to wake up Discord."
"Indeed Flim." Flam replies.
Both brothers run over and start attacking Big Mac and Cheerilee. At the same time Vinyl Scratch, Lyra, Cloudchaser, and Bon Bon start to throw muffins at Octavia.
Octavia screams with rage. "Vinyl! Stop throwing muffins at me!"
Derpy sees them wasting the muffins and jumps at them screaming. Soon enough a huge commotion had started and everypony was fighting or screaming. Just then a loud laugh made everypony stop and stare.
Twilight gasps. "Discord!"
The statue cracks apart and the mangled form of Discord steps out into the open.
"Looks like we're in for a big old storm of chaos."
Everypony gasps and stares at Discord fearfully.
Celestia growls in anger. "Discord! How dare you try to come back."
Discord just stands there staring at her. "Celestia. How rude that you interrupted me. Now as I was saying, I have a fun little experiment that I've been planning for eons and all of you ponies will be my toys. So I'm going to send all of you party guests to a world I created called Chaosville."
Discord snaps his fingers and all the ponies teleport to a world where everything is made of small cubes. The entire world was a flat wasteland with nothing but cubes and trees. After getting a closer examination Spitfire realized that it greatly resembles the popular game Ponycraft.
Doctor Whooves stands there looking astonished. "I've been to hundreds of planets but I've never seen one like THIS!"
Discord nods. "Welcome one and all to the unveiling of Chaosville. All of you will be serving as an experiment for me to decide if I should make all of Equestria like this. So have fun, and try to survive.
At the same time Big Mac, Vinyl Scratch, Doctor Whooves, Derpy, Luna, and Spitfire all say the same thing. "No, Discord. We're going to beat your little game, defeat you, and SAVE EQUESTRIA!"

Discord's Experiment

Flim and Flam run up to Discord happily.
"Discord. Since we set you free we were thinking we could rule with you?" Flim says smiling.
Flam nods his agreement. "In chaos?"
Discord laughs and points at the Flim Flam Brothers. "You? Want to help me? Unfortunately for you I don't need any help."
"But you needed help getting out of stone." Flam replies.
Discord narrows his eyes at them and then turns to the rest of the ponies.
"Well everypony it's time to start our fun. Nineteen of you will die and the one survivor will be aloud to leave. Good luck everypony! and remember I'll be watching."
Spitfire watches as Discord vanishes and she turns to Soarin.
"Worst. Date. Ever."
Soarin smiles and kisses her.
Soarin nods. "How about I make it up to you by defeating Discord?"
Spitfire smiles. "Perfect."
Soarin looks around at all the cubes. "What is this place? It's so strange."
Doctor Whooves runs up to them and shakes Spitfire's hoof.
"Hello I'm The Doctor." He introduced himself. "I believe Discord has taken us an placed us in a world meant to resemble the popular video game, Ponycraft."
Spitfire nods. "If that's true then there may be plenty of monsters roaming around."
Everypony turns to Celestia as she climbs onto a tall stack of cubes.
"Everypony must remain calm!" She began. "We've devised a back-up plan in case Discord were to return."
All the ponies started murmuring quietly as Celestia pulled out a book.
"This book contains the only way to reverse the effects of Discord's chaos and..."
As she was talking Flim used his bright green magic to rip the book from Celestia. As soon as he had it in his hold the two brothers ran off until they could barely be seen. "The Book?!?!" Twilight screams.
Vinyl Scratch points at where they were last seen. "After them!"
Celestia shakes her head. "Wait. They could be armed and dangerous. If we're going to go after them then we need to do it correctly."
Celestia hops down from the hill and walks up to the ponies.
"A group of ponies, led by my sister, should go after them while another group, led by me, shall stay here to wait for their return. Any pony interested in hunting down Flim and Flam go with my sister Luna, if not stay here with me."
Soarin, Spitfire, Big Mac, Vinyl Scratch, Doctor Whooves, Derpy, and Shining Armor walk over to where Luna is sitting.
"I don't want to be responsible if I'm leading us to our deaths." Luna whispers to herself. As Luna's group walks away from Celestia's Derpy walks up to The Doctor excited.
"Yay! Doctor we get to go on an adventure."
Doctor Whooves smiles at Derpy and tussles her hair. "Yes we do, Derpy."
Luna notices that everypony has someone to talk to but her and she lets out a sigh. Vinyl hears Luna sigh and walks up to her.
"So princess." She begins trying to make small talk. "What are we going to do with the brothers when we find them? I think we should kill them."
Luna shakes her head. "When we have the book we will take it and go back to the others. I'm sure leaving them in this wretched place is punishment enough."
As they walk along the endless plain of multicolored cubes they start to hear a loud cry/screaming sound coming from up ahead. Derpy stops walking and cowers away.
"I'm not going any closer to that scary sound." She whispers quietly.
Doctor Whooves goes over to Derpy sighing.
"Derpy, we've gone on hundreds of adventures together and do plenty of scary things. That." He says pointing his hoof toward the sound. "Is just a somepony screaming. They were probably banished here like the rest of us."
Derpy shakes her head and stares at her hooves. "I refuse to go any farther!"
Vinyl sighs. "Let's just leave her here."
Whooves rushes to stand at Derpy's defense. "We can't leave her by herself! I guess I could stay with her."
Shining Armor walks over to The Doctor. "I think it'd be safer if two others stayed here with them. Maybe me and Big Mac?"
Big Mac nods. "Eeyup."
Luna stands there for a moment not realizing everyony is looking at her.
"Ok. I guess. So me Soarin, Spitfire, and Vinyl Scratch will go after Flim and Flam while you three comfort Derpy." Luna says after a while.
Spitfire whispers to Soarin as they start walking again. "What are they all afraid of? This place is completely empty."
Soarin shrugs and keeps on walking. "Prolly PonyCraft monsters."
After a while the small group comes to a mountain made out of the cubes with the screaming coming from the other side. After the ponies spread an anxious look Luna leads the way over the mountain. When they reach the bottom they turn to see Flim laying on the ground in a puddle of blood. After closer examination the ponies realize his right back leg is all mangled and ripped with a steady stream of blood flowing out.
Spitfire rushes to his side. "What happened?"
Vinyl wrinkles her nose. "You were the one making that awful noise?"
Flim looks up at the ponies and begins to explain. "It was a big... green monster... and when I bucked it... the thing... exploded."
Vinyl frowns. "Where's the book?"
Flim gasps for air and then continues talking. "Flam... took the book... ran."
Vinyl stands up and starts walking of. "If Flam has the book then lets go. We don't have any use for Flim anymore."
Luna thinks for a moment before nodding. "I guess we have to leave him here."
Flim starts making the "crying" noise as the four ponies start to leave.

Derpy was right about to continue adventuring when the noise started again.
The Doctor facehoofs. "So close."
Shining Armor jumps and points a hoof in the air. "Ghost!"
Doctor Whooves stares at him curiosly. "Are you sure?"
Shining Armor nods. "Of course. It was big and black and flying around the sky!"
The ghost appears again and flies around the terrified ponies.
"Eeek!"Was all Derpy said before she tucked her head under her hooves.
The ghost flies down to Shining Armor and punches him. The ghost then pries open Shining Armor's mouth and slithers down his throat. Shining Armor falls to the ground for a few seconds and his mane and tail begin to turn black while his eyes turn red.
Shining Armor stands up and smiles. "I'm not a ghost you idiot. I'm a BodySnatcher."
All three ponies gasp and stare at him with wide eyes.
The Doctor is the first to speak. "A B-BodySnatcher?"
Shining Armor nods and smiles.
Doctor Whooves soon regains his fearless composure and looks straight into the BodySnatcher's eyes. "Well. Lucky for us I know how to get BodySnatchers out. You just have to..."
The Doctor was interrupted by a BodySnatcher flying down and climbing into his open mouth. Within seconds Doctor Whooves has an all black mane and tail with piercing red eyes.
Derpy looks up at The Doctor and starts crying.
The Doctor laughs. "Don't be sad m'dear. Your body will be used too."
Another BodySnatcher flies down and possesses Derpy. Big Mac takes off running in fear that the BodySnatchers will take him next. At first he easily outruns the BodySnatchers but as he takes a turn around a corner Discord's leg appears out of nowhere tripping Big Mac. Before he can stand up two black hooves pry his mouth open and slide down his throat.
A few seconds later the new Big Mac stands up happily. "Finally. I've found a body worthy of me. The king of the BodySnatchers."

Vinyl Scratch follows behind the other three ponies drooping her tail in the dust.
"Are we there yet?" She complains loudly and annoyingly. "Flam can't have walked this far already. It's so far. Can I take a break?"
Spitfire nods he agreement. "Yes. A break would be nice. May we have one Luna?"
Luna nods and sits down. Spitfire lays down with Soarin and starts whispering to him.
Vinyl sighs. "These ponies are the worst. Why'd my girls have to go with Celestia."
Vinyl stands up. "I'm going to go look for water. Be right back."
Vinyl starts walking toward the sound of rushing water, where she assumed a river would be.When she finally reaches it she notices a large hole nearby.
Vinyl nods in respect. "That's a nice hole. Looks like somepony dug it. Wait. I just realized I'm talking to myself about holes. I really need to get back to civilization."
Vinyl turns toward the river but slips on the wet cubes and falls into the hole.
"Stupid hole." She mutters to herself.
As she stands up she turns to see Flam trying to read a book.
Vinyl shouts in excitement. "Flam!"
Flam looks up and smiles at Vinyl.
"Well well well. Looks as if you've found me. Now what?"

Chapter 3 Lord Macintosh

Big Mac Looks down at Flim.
"Flim. I'm afraid your body is in too terrible shape to be useful to my followers."
"Please... My king." Flim gasps out.
Big Mac grabs Flim's head and snaps it back breaking his neck.
"I love having all this power. It's incredible." He says smiling.

Doctor Whooves, Derpy, and Shining Armor, walk up to the group of ponies led by Celestia.
"They're back!" Lyra says happily.
Cloudchaser frowns. "What happened to their hair?"
Celestia runs up to Big Mac.
"Where's the book?" She says impatiently.
Big Mac shrugs. "Change o' plans everypony."
Big Mac runs up to the hill Celestia had adressed the ponies from earlier.
"Everypony will now renounce following Celestia and worship our god Discord!" Big Mac says laughing at the end.
Shocked murmurs spread throughout the crowd of ponies.
Celestia stands face to face with Big Mac. "What's happened to you? What has Discord done?"
Big Mac nods. "This."
At that moment a BodySnatcher appears in front of all the ponies except Celestia. Derpy giggles as all the ponies start gagging on their new souls.
"Who here hates Celestia and worships Discord?" Big Mac shouts.
"Me!" All of the ponies reply.
Big Mac nods. "Excellent. Now prove it. Kill Celestia."
Twilight Sparkle runs up to Celestia and bucks her i the face. Cadence bites Celestia's tail and rips it back. Soon all the ponies, but Big Mac, were attacking Celestia. All that could be heard was her shouting something about them being better than this.

Big Mac walks into a tall white building in the very center of the world. The only thing in the building is a long white table with six chairs. In the smallest of the chairs Discord is sitting.
"Good of you to finally arrive Lord Macintosh." Discord says frowning.
Big Mac nods. "Where are the other four?"
Discord shrugs. "One has not found her calling as a god yet, the Creeper Lord can't be trusted not to explode, and the other two are meeting me later."
Big Mac smiles. "The six of us will be the gods of the new world."
Discord sighs. "I'm afraid we can't make all of Equestria like this."
"Why not? You know that Creepers and BodySnatchers can't leave Chaosville!" Big Mac yells angrily.
Discord smiles. "However," He continues. "we can convert Equestria we just need one thing."
Big Mac jumps up from his chair. "What is it?"
"Celestia must use a spell." Discord says without moving his mouth.
Big Mac stood there for a moment before responding. "Celestia? Has to…"
Discord nods. "Yes. Without Celestia you will be trapped here forever."
Big Mac nods sadly and walks out the door. As soon as he had traveled a respectable distance from Discord he let out an extremely loud scream.

The Doctor sits in a puddle of Celestia's blood and picks up the goddess' horn.
"Why couldn't I have become Lord Macintosh? Or I could have posessed Celestia and killed Big Mac before he had been posessed." The Doctor sighs.
The Doctor stands up and walks over to Derpy.
Derpy slams her hooves into the ground and frowns. "I can't stand this body! It's so stupid. Also I would've MUCH prefered to be a male."
Doctor Whooves leans in and kisses her.
"I've no idea why I did that. It must've been something The Doctor wanted to do." Whooves shivers in disgust.
Derpy sighs. "It's fine. This body enjoyed it. Even though I didn't."
"If both of our bodies enjoyed it... maybe we should do it again?" The Doctor asks.
Derpy shrugs. "Whatever."
Big Mac walks back from his meeting with Discord to see Derpy and Doctor Whooves kissing.
"Get off of each other right now!" Big Mac growls angrily.
"I'm sorry, sir. It will not happen again." The Doctor says looking down at his hooves.
Derpy smiles. "How did the meeting go?"
Big Mac pushes a hoof through his hair and sighs. "Celestia needs to perform a certain spell for us to be able to go to Equestria."
"But she's dead?" Derpy says sounding confused.
"Excatly." Big Mac says smiling. "So I need to find a pony who can raise the dead."
"A Necromancer? Is there one here?" Derpy asks excited.
Big Mac nods. "Flam."

Discord's Experiment

Vinyl Scratch stares at Flam.
"Give me that book." She says angrily.
Flam laughs. "You want it? Take it."
Vinyl narrows her eyes and stands up on her back feet raising her front hooves to fight. Flam jumps on her and they roll around Flam ending on top.
"That certainly was a short fight." Flam says smugly.
Vinyl kicks him in the chest and then rolls him over pressing him down with her hooves. Flam laughs and then stares into her eyes.
Vinyl looks away. "This is a little awkward..."
Flam reaches up and kisses Vinyl.
Vinyl jumps off of Flam with disgust. "What the hell was that?"
Flam shrugs. "Sorry Vinyl it was in the moment."
"How do you even know my name?" She asks while trying to spit the Flam out of her mouth.
Flam smiles. "I've seen you play before. DJ P0N-3 you're quite good."
"I have to go. Give me that book." Vinyl walks toward the hole opening.
"Only if you come see me tomorrow." Flam says while grabbing the book and pulling it in close.
Vinyl stares at him confused. "What? Why?"
Flam stares at her. "Isn't it obvious?"
Vinyl gags. "Eww you're crushing on me? I have to go this is just to freaky."
Flam nods. "See you tomorrow."
Vinyl climbs out of the hole and runs back to Luna, Spitfire, and Soarin.
"Hey guys. I'm gonna go to bed now. Good night." Vinyl says quickly before laying down and shutting her eyes.
Spitfire stares at her for a moment. "Uhhh. What?"
Soarin shrugs and whispers something to Spitfire.

Vinyl Scratch wakes up and stretches. She looks down to see a note carved into the ground.
Vinyl stares down at it. "Dear Vinyl, we couldn't wait for you to wake up so we left without you. Don't worry about being left behind though because we decided this would be our camp while we search for Flam."
Vinyl smiles and walks down to the brook and washes her face.
"Since my friends left me alone I can go see Flam. Not that I would want to, but..."
Vinyl walks over to the hole and jumps inside to be greeted with a hoof slamming into her face.
Flam lets out a shocked cry. "Vinyl? Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to!"
Vinyl glares at him. "What do you want?"
Flam leans in to kiss her and Vinyl pushes him away.
"Are you seriously trying to make a move on me?" Vinyl stares at him angrily.
Flam sighs. "Sorry. I forgot."
Flam lights some torches which allows Vinyl to see the rest of the hole including a table beautifully set for dinner.
Vinyl facehoofs. "Is this supposed to impress me?"
Flam looks down at his hooves sadly. "I guess you're right. We could never be together."
Vinyl takes a step closer. "Give me the book and maybe we can be."
Flam sits down and shakes his head sadly. "Take the book and leave. I don't care anymore."
Discord's mouth appears on the ground and gasps. "Why are you giving her the book?"
Vinyl jumps and turns to Discord's mouth.
"Well you sure do have a way of sneaking up on ponies." She growled.
Discord's hand appears and shoves Vinyl aside. "If you give her the book I want something in return."
Flam smiles. "What, my lord?"
Discord's mouth smiles. "Vinyl, will go get me some water. I'm a bit parched."
Vinyl stares at him shocked. "That's it? Fine. I'll be back in a few."
Vinyl climbs out of the hole and walks over to the brook.
"I forgot to bring a glass." She says sounding annoyed.
When she turns back toward the hole three bright green PonyCraft Creepers come towards her hissing.
Vinyl jumps back. "What are these things?"
She shoots one with a blast of magic and the Creeper explodes nocking vinyl onto her back. She closes her eyes in fear and starts to shake. When she opens her eyes again both of the Creepers are gone and Flam is standing there shaking his head.
Vinyl stares at him astonished. "Y-You saved me?"
Flam nods. "Yeah. But you need to be more careful. How could you fall for Discord's trap?"
Vinyl smiles at him and stands up. "You saved my life. So I guess I owe you dinner."
Flam laughs. "Yes. Yes you do. Oh thank you, Discord!"
"Maybe I was thinking about him wrong. Just because he follows Discord doesn't mean he's evil." She whispers to herself.
Vinyl follows him back to the and they jump inside to see Big Mac standing there laughing.
Vinyl gasps. "Big Mac?!?!"
Big Mac nods as a BodySnatcher flies down and slithers into Vinyl's mouth.
"No!" Flam screams as Vinyl collapses onto the floor for a moment before being possessed.
Big Mac bucks Flam into the wall nocking him out.
Big Mac smiles. "Now that we have Flam we can revive Celestia and then we will be able to enter Equestria."
Vinyl Scratch smiles and picks up the book.
