(This is a grimdark version of my Wings for a Pony series. Connections to Cupcakes, and some inspiration from the Silent Hill series were added to the story. It is recommended that you read Wings for a Pony first to understand the characters and the plot better. Also note that this story is not canon to Wings for a Pony or Cupcakes.)

For 10 years Clay was locked away in the Canterlot dungeons for the murder of Pinkamina Diane Pie. And yet even though that he has gotten his revenge and drove a knife through that crazed killer, he feels that his work is not done. While being transported back to Canterlot, a freak lightning storm gives Clay a chance to escape. But as the saying goes, out of the frying pan and into the fire,as Clay escapes one prison only to be trapped in a nightmare version of Ponyville. Clay will have to face monsters that represent his darkest fears, and uncover the truth of the nightmare that is plaguing Ponyville if he wishes to escape with his life. But that may prove easier said than done, when he is constantly haunted by his past, and Pinkamina herself.
