The Day Before/A Night to Forget

It was a sunny spring morning that most ponies had been enjoying with the exception of two royal ponies.Whom were in a dark stary room, adorn in navy and black with a crescent moon in on the middle of the floor, the room it self about the size of a small house.

"Luna your cheap, you know that." The much younger royal said.

"Silver, i'd shut your mouth your winning!" Luna said. Being the younger of the celestial sisters had given her a much more competitive side that silver shared, and admired.

"Silver!" Celestia cried sternly and yet still calm from down a long ordinate hall, "Silver!"

"What mom, I just beat aunt Luna in a game of haylo, do you know how hard that is; now I'm probably Gonna lose my mojo! " Silver wined annoyed.

"How come there are five mares in your bed?" Ignoring her sons complaints.

"Um...we were studying magic" Silver said scared of his mother's wrath.

"Your a Pegasus, you cant study magic."

"Can to!" The Pegasus wined "it's called Pegasus magic." He smiled, thinking he outsmarted his mother for once.

"It's passive magic, you can't study passive magic; now go apologize to those mares."

"Why do I need to apologize?"

"Because, you didn't show them the common courtesy of waiting for them to get up before you left and went straight to your aunt room to play video games, letting them get traumatized by one of there leaders bringing in your mail."

"Ok, well Luna came and got me up to play I didn't want to go I was really tired." he said trying to get a way out before thinking of anything better to say."Wait, how did they get traumatized by you bring in my mail."

"Luna doesn't know better she has only been here a few years; and the mailmare had given me your mail again and I got your playcolt."

"We need a new mailpony, the grey one sucks." As he grabed his mail  "Ew! mom why is it wet?" silver screamed as his mother teleported "I hate it when she dose that." He then decided that he should go to his room to check on the mares he slept with. "Hello, are you girls still in here." looking into his room larger than most apartments, draped in silver and black with a large bed with a large crown embedded in the floor."Girls, were are you?" Silver asked confused.

"Heya Silver, what's up!" A white unicorn with a crazy blue mane said as she sent silver flying into the air making him hit his head on the ceiling causing him fall on top of her.

"Shit Vinyl! You know how much I hate it when people sneak up on me!" Silver said as he got back up.

"Hey man, i just stop by to say I'm having another party tonight not to be killed by a flying hockey jersey!"

"Very funny." Silver said sarcasticly "But I don't know, my mom is already pissed at me."

"Pretty please?" Vinyl asked rubbing her flank along his body "There will be a lot of mares, I know how much you love us." Vinyl said in sultry tone trying to convince her friend.

"Fine, but if I get in trouble it's your falt! And what happened to the mares in here?"

"I had a little fun with them then sent to my place."

"So you had sex in my bed with a bunch of random mares?"

"Yep!" She said with a smile.

"Reminded me to burn the sheets."

"Why, you have sex in this bed too don't you?"

"No, you of all people should know my bedroom rules."

"Right, no sex on the bed." She sighed, "You know, most mares would prefer the bed over your floor."

"Well the floor doesn't cost four grand to replace!" Silver screamed, before sitting down in a large purple chair an attempt to calm down."you know what, let's get outta here; my mom is still pissed at you for your surprise birthday present to her from last month."

"It was just too awesome for her, I can understand."

"She was in the middle of her court when you gave a surprise lap dance to a remix of your sex noises; I think it was a little more than being too awesome."

"Hey, you were laughing your ass off when it happened!"

"I never said it wasn't funny, I would have been fine if it was me." He chuckled a bit before getting serious again."Now really, we should get out of here."

Silver has know Vinyl most of his life. Princess Celestia would often go negotiate treaties in other countries, leaving Silver to be watch by his older sister. One day while his mother was overseeing a peace negotiations between the Griffin Empire and Neighgeria, silver was scared this was the longest his been away from his mother. Cadance saw this and thought that if he had some friends he would be a lot calmer; so she set up a date so he could meet he two favorite foals to sit for, Twilight a very shy but intelligent foal and Vinyl Scratch a loud but creative filly.The three had trouble interacting at first mainly because Twilight and Silver wouldn't stop hiding from Vinyl, forcing Cadance to levitate her brother and the fillies in front of each other to interact, and when they did it was magic.

The three were inseparable; Silver had then told his mom about them, Twilight's love for magic and Vinyls for music. Celestia then sent letters inviting them to the school for gifted unicorns, not knowing about how truly powerful skills were.

"Hey silver, what you thinking about, you've been quite for awhile."

"Huh, oh just thinking about how we met."

"You mean coming up from behind you and sending you flying under the couch, and making Twilight cry." Vinyl said laughing

"Not funny!"

"Oh, but it's fun to scare you two."

"It's fine when you do it to me, but not Twi!" He said with more emotion than he realized.

"Hey why are you screaming at me. Twilight is one my best friends, I'd never do anything to harm her!"

"I know sorry; it's just I miss having her around, I know she's been gone for four years, but It's still hard to passing buy her old room; It sill feels like it was yesterday."

"You care for her that much, huh."

"yeah, well you two are my best friends, I care for both of you a lot."

"Aw! That is really cute; Now let's get going I don't like being late to a gig." Vinyl said

They finally got to Vinyl's house witch was a bit of an understatement as the house was a third of the size of the castle, and was pretty much a sea level penthouse.

"Great, we're late!" The mare said searching for her goggles in her saddlebag, while trying to stay out of site of the massive line that had formed outside her house.

"We wouldn't be if you had let me fly you here, we would have been here on time."

"Hey, I hate heights ok!"

"Unicorns."Silver mumbled.

"What was that?"

"nothing, you ready?"

"Yeah, lets rock."

Vinyl went into house, Silver follow how ever got stopped by a bouncer immediately.

"Password." The large Earth pony asked in an emotionless voice.

"Oh come on; I come here all the time, I've never needed a password before!" Silver shouted getting annoyedt.

"You got have a password, new rule."

"Dam it Vinyl! You would get a password and not tell me." He said complaining to nopony inparticular "Listen how much do I have to pay you get in."

"16,000." Still in an emotionless voice.

"Ok; 16,000 bits." He said  happily as he wrote a cheek and gave it to the bouncer. Wait, did I just write a cheek for sixteen grand; Eh, I let mom deal  with it later.

The house was vinyls personal night club filled with blue neon and with purple detail. Vinyl was perched high above the crowd on a balcony conected to her room.

Silver made his way over to the bar, spotting a very attractive cream colored mare with a red mane and a rose cutie mark. "Hey, Black Spice." He said to a rum colored unicorn mare.

"Hey Silver; want the usual?"

"Nah, I'll just have some whiskey; hey what's the story on the mare with the rose cutie mark?"

"Ah that's Roseluck; she's from ponyville shes normally here with her friend carrot top but she doesn't appear to here tonight. From what I can tell their in a relationship."

"She looks pretty sad, like she just lost something pretty important to her, I'm gonna go see if she's ok."

"Silver, since when have cared about a pony's feelings?"

"I don't know; sometimes its good to care about your subjects, even if they don't know who you are." Getting sad. most ponies didn't know who he was, he'd have to explain everpony that he was a prince show them he was a Prince because mostly because he was still only 24 and the blood relative closest to him a age was his sister and she was about 120 years older, but the other was  because of his mother his mother wouldnt let him do any thing, why he didn't know, he always taught it was because she hated him. He had no idea how wrong he was.

"Hello; you look really sad are you ok?"

"No! Now can you leave me alone I don't feel like talking about it."

"Hey, I'm just trying to help."

"Well don't, so just leave before I kick your mussel in!"

"Hey do you even know who your talking to?!" silver said angrily towards the mare.

"Yeah, some cocky ass Pegasus trying to get into bed with me ."

"No, listen I'm  a prince, I just wanted to..."before he could finish the mare had anuff; kicking silver in the ribs breaking two of them, then proceded to break his right forehoof, the Rose then threw a large left hook, knocking Silver out.

"That ones for you Carrot Top!"

Vinyl manage to see the whole fight and her closest friend get KOed. Something she might have had fun with, but this time it was different she felt concerned, almost scared; not able to think Vinyl screamed "everypony out!"

She ran down the her unconscious friend. "We got to get him to hospital. Black Spice  can you help me get him on my back, I need to save all my magic to teleport us there.

"Cadance, can you get your brother for me; dinners ready? "looking out a window to raise the sun."

"He's not here. I saw him leaving the castle with Vinyl."

Celestia's face turned red with anger, silver had snuck out of castle against her direct orders; and worst of all he snuck out with one of the worst influences her son could have.

"Cadance, tell Luna I'm gonna late; I need to find my son."

Vinyl was waiting in a small lifeless room were the only colors were her mane and silver.

"Is he gonna be ok doc?" Vinyl asked, pacing around the room knowing that she'll killed if Celestia found out.

"Yes mama he'll be fine, he just has a few broken bones and a moderate concussion. But he should be considered Lucky I've seen broken ribs kill before."

"Oh thank Celestia." Vinyl said relived

"Thank me for what, not killing you when I had the chance." Celestia said viciously,"I don't want year anywhere near my son, whenever your around him something bad happens, he's the only son I've ever had and I'm not losing him!" her motherly rage taking over causing  Vinyl to burst into tears.

"But...but, I love him!" Vinyl cried.

"If you truly did than this wouldnt have happened."

"It wasn't my falt!" Vinyl screamed as she ran out in tears.

"What's going on; Why was Vinyl crying, what did you say to her!?" Silver screamed at his mom.

"She is not allowed to see you anymore, she is the reason your like this."

"It's not her falt its mine, I tried to help somepony who didn't want it."

"Well that something im sure You'll learn in Ponyville; now excuse me doctor I need to heal my son." Celestia then cast what probably is the best healing magic in Equstria making Silver's injuries disappear.

"Mom did you just saying I'm going to ponyville?" His emerald green eyes lighting up; this would be the first time Silver had physically seen Twilight since the weeding two years ago.

"Not going to, moving to ponyville; and you'll be living with Twilight." Celestia said causing her sons mouth to water.

"Why?" Silver said waking form his daze and remembering what just happened to Vinyl and that this could be part of his moms plans "Just because I get see one of best friends, doesn't mean can just keep my other one away from me."

"Listen, Silver it's not just Vinyl It's the parties, coming home drunk, getting in to fights because your too emotional, the countless mares I have to use anti pregnancy spells on in their sleep; Your the only son I've ever and I'm not going to lose you cause you've did some stupid and you need to be a real prince your twenty-four now its time I can't watch over you forever and ponyville is the best place to learn how." Celestia said sadly. She hated  to do this too her son but it's what's best for him. "Now go write Twilight and tell her your coming, and hey  you may even get your cutie mark over there." She said trying to cheer him. Silver was however left speechless as they left for the castle.
