The next day Pinkie Pie was feeling tired due to the lack of sleep she had gotten last night. "Good Morning Pinkie Pie! Sleep well?" said Twilight Sparkle in a cheerful voice. "No I didn't, I kept waking up because of my dream" said Pinkie. "Oh really? Tell me!" said Twilight in curiosity. So Pinkie explained her dream to Twilight down to the very last detail. "Oh that's terrible!" Twilight said. Then the ponies got ready for the day and went to the market. Twilight Sparkle was looking through all of the food that was for sale and Pinkie Pie was sitting at a table taking a nap. An hour passed by and Pinkie Pie woke up with a spring in her step. She was fully awake. "Ah! That's better!" said Pinkie Pie happily. As the two ponies were back to Twilight's house, the mayor ran past them yelling "Evacuate now everpony!" Twilight looked back to see what has happened and she had seen a giant herd of ponies but something was weird about them. Pinkie looked at the herd and said in under her breath " Oh no, we got to get out of here." A chilling scream was sent out from the herd "PINKIE!!!" in a demented tone. Pinkie Pie quickly grabbed Twilight by the hoof and ran yelling "We got to get out of here! It's not safe!" The two ponies ran back to the house with their mane standing on end. "What was that!?" said Twilight in fear while slamming the door behind her. "The zombie ponies...they have come for me!" said Pinkie exhausted and out of breath. Twilight knew it not safe outside so they decide to stay in the house until nightfall. "If we are going to get out of here safely, we should go to Zecora's. She should have an answer to finish this chaos." exclaimed Twilight. She checked to see if the room was quiet and pulled the wooden horse head bust in the center of the house. Underneath revealed a tunnel that was dark and poorly lit by torches. The opening of the tunnel sent a rush of bats out of it. "This tunnel should lead us to Zecora. Are you ready to go?" asked Twilight. "Let's go before these zombies eliminate the rest of Ponyville" said Pinkie. As they built up their courage, the two ponies ventured into the tunnel. The journey would be dangerous but they continued onward to reach the Everfree Forest.
Chapter 4-The Harsh Conclusion
The tunnel was long, wet and dark. Twilight Sparkle was carrying a torch that she had grabbed from the beginning of the tunnel. In the distance, there was the sound of water dripping from the ceiling. The two ponies continued walking through the tunnel and they came across a long ropebridge. It seemed as if it was not very safe to walk across. "Come on Pinkie Pie we need to cross this bridge, after this it should not be too far till Zecora's" said Twilight. "I don't know it does not seem too safe" said Pinkie Pie fearfully. "Don't worry it will be fine! If you want I'll go first" said Twilight bravely. Twilight Sparkle started walking across the bridge slowly. "Don't look down!" yelled Pinkie. This caused Twilight to look down at the gigantic black gorge that was beneath the bridge. She quickly took a gulp and pressed onward across the bridge. Twilight managed to get to the other side of the bridge safely. Now it was Pinkie Pie's turn to cross. "You need to walk across slowly!" yelled Twilight from across the bridge. So Pinkie Pie walked across the bridge carefully and as slow as she could. Halfway across, a plank made a creak on Pinkie saw the rope starting to break. "Hurry Pinkie! Run!!!" screamed Twilight in fear. She ran as fast as she could across the bridge, looking behind her she only saw the bridge coming down behind her. "Come on you can make it!" screamed Twilight. Close to the end of the bridge, it fully collapsed and Pinkie Pie dove into the air and grabbed onto Twilight Sparkle's hoof. "At least you are safe now" said Twilight in relief. "Thank you for catching me, if you were not there I would have fallen down with the bridge" said Pinkie. The two ponies then ran onward through the rest of the tunnel dodging stalagmites. Eventually the two ponies found a solid rock wall with a lever beside it. They pulled the lever and and the wall of rock magically opened. Stepping out, they saw they were in the Everfree forest just as expected. Twilight and Pinkie Pie ran to Zecora's hut not too far away from the exit of the tunnel. The door slammed open with a thud knocking some bottles off of the shelves. "Lovely night, isn't it Pinkie Pie and Twilight?" said Zecora happily. "Zecora, we need something to get rid of zombies" exclaimed Twilight loudly. The zebra looked at them in confusion. "Why do you ask of me to get rid of these zombies?" said Zecora. "Somehow zombie ponies have risen from the dead and they are after Pinkie Pie!" said Twilight. Zecora was shocked but gave an answer. "If you wish to get rid of something full of dread, you must become one of the dead" said Zecora. "Become one of the dead? What does that mean?" questioned Twilight Sparkle nervously. "You must die for Pinkie pie" said Zecora while still rhyming. "This book contains a spell that will send the zombies back to hell" said Zecora. "I have to.....DIE?" said Twilight in a full state of panic now. Then Zecora explained to Twilight that in order to get rid of the zombies, she would need to use Black Magic and sacrifice herself to save her friend. It took a while for twilight to accept her fate but she stood up and threw her hood forward. "I will sacrifice myself to save Pinkie Pie from the zombies" said Twilight in an aggresive voice. Then Twilight took some time to study the spell for she could not practice it because the instant she would use it she would die. Zecora tried to calm down the two ponies and Pinkie Pie gave her friend Twilight a giant hug saying "I can't believe you are doing this for me." The two ponies then stepped out the door and headed back to town. As they arrived in back in Ponyville, the herd of zombie ponies confronted them face to face. These were not just any ordinary zombies though, they were their friends. Then a sickish blue colored pony came in front of the rest of the herd. Pinkie Pie stared at the pony and said in a petrified voice "RAINBOW DASH!?" The pony was none other then Rainbow dash but she was covered in stitchs everywhere Pinkie made a cut into her. She had no wings, and her cutie marks were gone and she had no eyes, just empty sockets but still being to recognize where she was. "Hi Pinkie Pie, it's been a while" said Rainbow dash in a demented voice. Pinkie was too petrified to even say a word back seeing what she had done to all of her friends. "Nothing to say then Pinkie?" said Rainbow Dash. "Then ponies!!! Finish her off!!!" screamed Rainbow dash in her demented voice once more. Twilight then knew this was her time to go. Pinkie looked her with a tear in her eye. Twilight waved her horn into the air and started casting the spell she had learned from Zecora. A bright purple aura started glowing from her horn. The aura grew 10 times the size then Twilight Sparkle looked back at Pinkie and said "I'm so glad for meeting you. You truely were a great friend." said Twilight starting to cry. "NO DON'T GO!" screamed Pinkie. Twilights horn then sent out a blast that slowly turned every zombie to dust. "I will get you back for this Pinkie!" said rainbow dash. She then vanished into the sky. After the spell was done, Twilight fell on the floor and Pinkie tried felling her pulse,....she was dead. Pinkie then sent out a large shrieking scream at the sky. After grieving for her friend she walked back to her store. Every single building was in flames and the town was baron with no sign of life. Pinkie was the last survivor in Ponyville. And to think that Cupcakes could bring such chaos, to cause one Final Rest.
Epilogue-The Final Letter
Dear Princess Celestia,
It is me your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. This is my last letter to you for I have passed on. Looking back at the first day you told me to meet friends, I thought it would be a waste of time making friends but seeing all of the great memories I have had with my friends, I don't regret any of it. Now I see Pinkie Pie all by herself, I cannot help but shed a tear for her and wish to come back to her to comfort her in her time of need. But if there was anything I learned from my years being in Ponyville would be Friendship is the most powerful force in Equestria and sometimes you need to sacrifice yourself for the people you love. So when it was my last moment there in Equestria, I knew it was all worthwhile just to see the smiles on my friends faces. So this is my last lesson of friendship I could share with you and it is my time to go onto the great beyond. Farewell Princess Celestia, I wish you the best.

It was a normal day in Ponyville. Everypony was going about their everyday lives but something was going on in Pinkie Pies basement. Pinkie Pie was at it again slowly killing another pony for her secret ingredient. This pony had some fight in them. "Please stay still, it's only going to hurt you more if you struggle" said Pinkie Pie. With a huge thrash, the pony managed to kick Pinkie Pie back into a wall before cutting into her. A large cauldron of candy fell from one of the shelves onto her head. "Uhhhggg....what happened?" said Pinkie Pie with a large bruise on her head. She seemed to snap right out of her insanity. She slowly looked around at the grim decorations around the room. She was scared of what happened to her then she saw the pony still strapped to the table and Pinkie said in a muffled voice "What have I done?" She ran out of the basement with her eyes fully watering.
The first place she thought of going to was her friend Twilight Sparkle house because she found out she has killed every other of her pony friends. She barged in "Hi Pinkie!" said Twilight Sparkle happily. "I did something terrible Twilight" said Pinkie in a scared voice. "What happened? You look like you saw a ghost!" said Twilight giggling.
"No it's much worse Twilight" said Pinkie Pie. "What could it possibly be making you so upset?" said Twilight Sparkle. "I think it would easier to show you" said Pinkie. Then the two ponies walked to Sugarcube corner and went into Mr. And Mrs. Cake's shop. From there they went into the basement. As the ponies were walking downstairs, a foul stench reeked through the door. It smelled of rotting flesh. As Pinkie opened the door Twilight could not believe what she had saw. "What happened in here?" said Twilight in a scared voice. "I believe I caused this" said Pinkie. Twilight looked around the room with fear looking at the now deflated organ balloons and the painted skulls everywhere. "How could you?" said Twilight in a sad but angry voice. "I was not myself" said Pinkie looking at the floor. "Just please get me away from this place, I don't want to look at what I have done anymore!" said Pinkie in a loud shout. Even though Twilight had doubt in her decision, she allowed her friend to stay at her house for the night to calm her down. When the two get to her house, Spike asked" Pinkie why are you crying?". "I can't explain it to you Spike, you are too young to hear this" said Twilight. The ponies and got ready for bed and were laying down to go to sleep. "Pinkie, just try to act normally for now ok?" said Twilight in concern. "Ok Twilight, I will try to" said Pinkie. After their small talk, they laid their heads down and fell fast asleep. During the night, Pinkie Pie was tossing and turning nervously from her dream. Deep in her sleep she could her a faint voice. "You will pay for what you have done to us". Pinkie imagined herself in a graveyard on a foggy night with little lighting from the nearby torches on the black steel fences. The ground was crackling with hoofs coming out. Pinkie was slowly walking away from the graves as the dead were rising once again. One of the zombie ponies came from the fog and resembled a pony that she knew. "Rainbow Dash?" said Pinkie in a petrified voice. The zombie quickly grabbed Pinkie by her leg and was starting to drag her back to the grave. "NO! NO! NO!" cried the helpless pink pony. She grabbed a torch nearby and started to stab the zombie in it's hoof to make her let go. This did not help, it only made the zombie more angry. She was now being pulled faster. As she neared the grave, she could no longer she the head of the zombie pony but only see herself being sucked into the cold ditch. "No please! Help Twilight!" yelled Pinkie. The pink pony was quickly sucked into the grave and Pinkie Pie woke up with a jolt of fear from her bed. "They are coming for me" Pinkie said under her voice.
