His mother is a Pegasus, his father has a horn. Though the type of pony doesn't matter for reproduction, this makes a certain unicorn named Sunburst being able to walk on clouds.
His parents send him to school at Cloudsdale, where he's the only non-Pegasus, and every school needs a laughing stock. He thinks his life will suck forever, until he meets two very special Pegasi.
