CHAPTER 8
a world turned black

I woke up in a bed hooked up too a bunch of machines with pain coursing through my body.
To my left was the brown blob I noticed earlier.
OCTAVIA!
I fell out of the bed pulling many machines over and causing a lot of pain as I toppled over.
I let a quite loud scream of pain as everything happened which it did rather quickly.
The nurses barged in and managed to get me up and dragged me away as I screamed OCTAVIA! OCTAVIA! but they wouldn’t let me go.
Sterilize her!
Was the last thing I heard before everything went black again.
I woke up in a different room this time strapped down.
All I could think about was Octavia and thinking about her made me tear a little
A stallion walked in and introduced himself.
"Im Doctor Hooves, but feel free to just call me doctor or anything you'd like because here our top priority is satisfaction.
"How bout doctor jerk face" I quietly snickered
He chuckled to my surprise
I couldn’t just tear anymore I started full out crying like a two year old and managed to choke out "Is she okay?"
"Who? Oh the other one, well she’s hanging in there she’s rather strong for such a small mare."
"Hey she’s not just a little mare she’s the most beautiful smart and strong mare I know!" I could barely yell now because of the pain
"Are you two together, I mean in a relationship?"
I nodded and said, "proposed last night."
"Oh im so sorry..."
"For what?"
"She may be here a few months if you want her to survive, her wound needs extreme care an-"
He was cut off by the sound of tears.
"Mam?"
I couldn’t hold them in anymore I was crying a lot not a little like before but a lot.
"Im sorry, ill leave you alone now."
Weeks passed and I was finally released.
I just took our bags they had brought from the hotel and i left back to ponyville.
Getting back was worse all our friends were just waiting for us and when they only saw me come out they all raced forward to comfort me but i wouldn’t talk.
"Oh dear what happened to your coat and mane?" Rarity asked
I did start noticing that ever since i got the news my coat was getting grayer and grayer.
I gave them a quick story and ran away in tears.
I was lying in bed crying for three whole days
my tears would only halt for a little when they would try to comfort me and brought me food and water.
I wouldn’t eat or drink after all why would I if I was trying to end my own life?
Days passed by like centuries and nothing ever changed, months later I was lying above our sheets when they ALL tried to visit i could only manage a few words i hadn't ate in a few weeks.
The only words I got out were "WHY CANT I JUST DIE ALREADY?!"
The room grew silent.
I think we all heard the sounds of hoof steps getting closer.

When i got off at the train station i was surprised no pony was there to greet me
the only pony who talked to me was a pony i think who’s name was Bon Bon?
She said "Bless Celestia your alive you got to get home Vinyl has been trying to starve herself since she got back!"
She didn't have to tell me twice.
I ran there as fast as i could ignore the pain.
Once i got in there I heard one voice Vinyl screaming WHY CANT I JUST DIE ALREADY?! And it grew quiet.
I could hear them breathing as i got closer and closer.
When I got there I noticed how crowded it was.
I pushed with all my might through it and saw Vinyl there on the ground extremely skinny and grey.
I screamed VINYL! And ran and gave her the biggest hug and kiss combo anyone had ever seen.
