//-------------------------------------------------------// Untold story -by Infernal71- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dash of Black //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dash of Black The Comic Story Twilight was coming home from the market after visiting her friends Aj, Pinkie pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. As she was coming home she looked up to see the weather team still at work. From what she’s seen there is not a single mare in the team. As she approached her tree she started to think of what she should read when she got home. Maybe read Dawn, or maybe The amazing spider-stallion. So much to choose or maybe she will read something new who know. "Spike!" She called as she entered the tree library she has now come to call home. "I'm home." She walked over to the table and set down her saddlebags and spotting a note most likely left by Spike. "Let's see 'Twilight I will be right back I have to deliver a book to Lyra and I'll be home soon. Sincerely, Spike.'" Twilight read the note allowed. "Ok, then I'll just find a book myself." She said looking at the bookshelf. She spotted a book called Lord of the Hooves and immediately tried to get it down with her magic but in the end she pulled several books with it. "Ack" she said as they fell on her. "Ugh where did that book go?" she said as she looked through the scattered books. Moving aside some books she finds it. "Ah-ha. Wait, what's that?" she said as she levitated up the book but then spotting a book with a little dust on it. She blows the dust off revealing the title. "A Dash of Black? I wonder what it's about." She says as she trots to her desk laying it down preparing to read. She turn to the first page only to be greeted by pictures of black and white. " Oh its a comic!" she says in surprise. On the first page was what seemed to be at a start of a few filly Pegasus race. It seemed to be in the sky. "Ok, next page. Wait, why are the pages burnt?" She says realizing that the book only had one page and the rest were burnt and singed. She looked at the back cover and read "To read the story it requires a magical mind." "Um, maybe it means to use magic?" She says as she enveloped the book in a purple magical aura. Suddenly the page seemed to come alive as the shapes of the fillies started to move. Four ponies went to the starting line. 3 stallions and 1 mare. The three stallions seemed to be laughing at the mare and prepped to start as did the mare. Then another filly from the crowd came down with a starting flag and sat on a cloud in front of the starting line. She waved the flag and the 4 ponies were off and the page seemed to follow the ponies. The 3 stallions followed the mare but the mare seemed to be able to stay ahead. One of the stallions loses control and ends up in the middle of a cloud pillar leaving him in dead last. Another stallion later tumbles out of the race after trying to hit the mare. Leaving just two ponies in the race. The stallion seemed to be passing the mare but she did not want to lose. The two ponies went in for a nose dive to reach the next ring. As the nose dive extended a mach cone seemed to form around the mare as she almost reached the ring the page went white. "What. What happened." Twilight said gawking not realizing that she had ended up face first in the book. Suddenly an older version of the filly appeared and seemed to wink at Twilight. "What?" Twilight said. From the book a hoof extended seeming to touch Twilight. Twilight looked to the mare and she was smiling so Twilight grabbed the hoof and was pulled in. And then everything went white. Twilight opened her eyes to see the mare mouthing something but she couldn't understand then she realized that she was in the page with her. Twilight tried to scream but no sound came from her lips. The mare just continued to smile at her maybe trying to calm twilight. Twilight started to calm down but she just couldn't believe that she was inside a book. The mare pointed at a blue square and Twilight watched as she trotted over to it going on to the other side. The mare was then colorized, no longer a white and black but now a blue with a rainbow mane. Twilight was amazed of what was happening she couldn't believe it but it was really happening. The mare continued to smile at Twilight, maybe she hasn't had a friend before. They just stared at each other through the blue square waiting for each other to do something. "Twilight I'm home." Spike called as he came through the front door. He didn't hear her reply so he thought maybe she was reading and it was a good book. He started to walk to the kitchen when he saw all the books on the floor. "Aww Twilight come on pick up after yourself some." He said as he picked up all the books off the floor. Looking over at the table he saw the groceries. "Ugh, come on seriously." he went and grabbed the groceries and seeing a book was open . "Oh, maybe Twilight chose a book for me to read. I'll read it right after I put these up." After putting up the groceries Spike came back in and looked at the book and seeing there was only one page but the page seemed to be moving. He saw a mare half inside a blue square, and half not. And he saw Twilight! "Twilight why are you in there? ... She must not be able to hear me." Spike said concerned. He then watched as the next actions took place. Suddenly behind twilight the three stallions from before in the story showed up looking like they were laughing. Twilight quickly back away from them and the mare just put on a very grumpy face. The head stallion mouthed something and then the mare gasped in surprise. She looked at twilight and mouthed the only thing Twilight understood 'run'. Immediately Twilight broke off into a sprint away from the stallions with the mare flying right behind her. Twilight thought they were going to kill her and she looked at the mare who had a determined face on. They ran and soon came to a wall what Twilight had to say was the end of the book. The stallions were still right behind and were still laughing. The mare glared at them and Twilight looked to the mare who then turned to twilight and smiled. Twilight somehow knew she was thanking her for being with her and suddenly a black square appeared next to Twilight. She thought it over and then walked through the portal to leave behind the glaring mare and the three giggling stallions. Twilight appeared on the ground in her house in full color and she looked around, searching for the book. "Twilight." Spike said before getting pushed out of the way Twilight watched as the mare went from upright to upside down dead. And then the mare disappeared. Twilight then began to tear up from watching the mare die. Spike watched as Twilight cried but saw behind her the mare suddenly, statically appear. "Umm, Twilight look." He said pointing at the mare. Twilight watched as the mare forced her way into the world. She would be standing sometimes or sitting the next, all while flashing into her color that she was behind the blue square. Twilight hoped that she would get through she was an amazing pony and she didn't even know her name. Then it finally happened, she got through and she was sent sailing into Twilight as she hugged her. "Hi." She said smiling. "Hello." Twilight said mouth wide opened. "My name is Rainbow Dash." "Mi- My name is Twilight Sparkle, it’s nice to meet you” she stammered as she embraced the hug. Spike watched as Twilight became friends with a pony who almost died. And unannounced to everyone the book had gotten on more page of a huge colorful boom happening where the filly mare had gotten to at the final ring. end Author's Note Hopefully this will tie you guys over till i can get more time in.
