Cosmatic woke up, unaware of his surroundings. Feeling a comfortable blanket and bed felt amazing, and he felt like he needed the sleep. Even after all his adventures, he rarely put time aside for his own sleep. It made his performance deteriorate, sure, but after Blackreach he started sleeping normally. Blackreach is definitely not a good place to explore without any sleep what-so-ever, and he nearly died several times from archers, Dwemer Automatons, and a swipe to the back from a Falmer.

He spent a week in bed just healing from the wounds he had, and the burns were terrible, making that week a living hell for him, in terms of pain. He felt a jabbing poke on his back. "Give me time to sleep, you stupid vampire...." He turned around in his bed, only to be poked in the face. "Stop it..." Cosmatic Beat continued, still trying to get his sleep. After being poked in a place he never was supposed to be poked in, he opened his eyes.

A bright pink pony was in the corner near him, with a wooden stick, ready to poke him again if need be. Her whole body was frozen up except her arm and her face. A eerie green glow emanated from the paralyzed limbs, and, if its related, the pink ponies hair was completely down. It made her look so depressed to some, and overtly to him. "Uh...hello? Its going to b-" It was then when it struck him completely, as if a slap in his face. This was the pink horse thing that he accidentally cast a spell on. It wasn't supposed to last this long, however. One limb and head were free. There should have been a whole body free. "...Uh, are you okay? I'm sorry that this lasted this long, I didn't expect it to, if that's any indication."

Cosmatic Beat definitely got a reply. He got the heavy glare of the pony and a reply. "You made me miss the chance of making seventeen parties, one of which was a welcome party, another for Canterlot, and the chance of getting you welcomed here." She said, in a depressed voice. Cosmatic Beat sighed.

"Look, I'm sorry for anything that I may have caused you, but I don't belong here. Do you have any shrines or gods I can talk to?" The pink party pony looked at Cosmatic Beat, having an incredibly confused look on her face as if she didn't even know what he meant. "Do you have a shrine...? Or 'gods' I can talk to?" After no reply, he sighed, and tried to move his blanket around to make a cocoon, to at least keep the warmth in better.

After noticing that he obviously wasn't getting any close to a cocoon due to the fact he still wasn't used to being a pony, he huffed, and pulled the blanket off of him. Cosmatic Beat always hated when he couldn't find the right position when he tries to sleep. He moved his hooves a few times, attempting to get his legs to wake up. One hoof had a problem, so he simply slammed his hoof down, causing some amount of pain but waking it up completely. That always works, even though it hurts sometimes. He walked over to the pink pony, and touched his horn to the ground.

He felt the magic build up in him, and tried to hold back on bringing his magic to his hands, which is now consequently his hooves. Cosmatic Beat brought up a small amount of magic and only ended up casting a fizzle of light. Great, his attempt at Magelight failed. And that may mean that his magical reserves that were in Skyrim actually aren't as potent in this realm.

Double great. He only summoned up a small amount of his magic though. He touched his horn to the party ponies chest, and put half of his magical reserves into it. He never really cast this spell as much as he should have. Paralyzing guards in the Whiterun Hold was simply fun.

He went a little crazy sometimes, especially with the fact that almost in every hold in Skyrim they always had the "I used to be an adventurer like you" and "Lemme guess, someone stole your sweet roll" lines to annoy every citizen in that very hold. He remarked that he saw a guard turn into a sweet roll once after that one line. And that other time, where the guard got an arrow to both his knees and face. He didn't know how those events had even happened, but he was almost completely sure that the sweetroll comment incident had been caused by Sheogorath.

He went off on a small tangent, great. Cosmatic Beat focused on his magic, ignoring his environment at the exception of the bright pink pony. He could feel his own Paralyze spell unweave itself, giving the pink pony more control over her body. Slowly, but surely, he was unweaving his own magic.

But then, right as the pink pony was given full control, he felt a barrier. It felt like an insane amount of magic, like all of the magic in Skyrim combined. It felt like the Eye Of Magus, which unfortunately was the only thing he could compare to this vast overflow of magic. As if it was instinct, he tapped into the magic, causing whomever was controlling it to back off, but Cosmatic's magic was still locked on, so it was going along with the vast overflow of magic. Then, it happened.

He felt himself in another being, another sentient one like him. But this time, he was actually in her memory banks. As soon as he got her name, it reflected off his mouth like nothing whatsoever. "Twilight." He accidentally whispered out, but then he realized he was in her mind. He instantly broke the connection and when he did, he collapsed. He wheezed, barely able to open his eyes. This was incredibly taxing on him, and he didn't even know it. Then, as soon as the moment came, it was gone, as with his lack of energy.

He felt it pouring into him, and it came from the same person from his memory. Or rather, hers. He only got family names. A 'Twilight Sparkle', 'Spike', and 'Shining Armor'. Unfortunately, he couldn't get anything else. Cosmatic Beat breathed normally, and he opened his eyes. A worried expression was on the purple ponies face. Cosmatic Beat jumped back, slamming against the wall.

What had he done?! He accidentally invaded another person ("Pony?") like him, and nearly learned all about them, but he invaded. He felt like a monster, he felt his heartbeat going up. Twilight approached him, a little wary, but sat right by him. The pink party pony was not seen. He promptly wondered where she was, but dropped the subject. "I-I..." He could barely speak. He didn't know why, but he felt as if his memory was probed as well. A massive invasion of privacy went over his mind. "I...I'm sorry." Cosmatic Beat said to her, and she responded in kind. "I am sorry as well. I...was assuming you were hurting my friend." Twilight replied, with a sullen tone to her voice. "I didn't know you had endured so much..."

A look of shock went across Cosmatic's face. "You...you..." She really did probe his mind! She knew everything. Every little embarrassing moment ("By the gods!") or battle. "You read my mind! You probed it! You-" He was forcibly interrupted by the mare. "I know...and I'm sorry. I never meant to." She replied, looking down at the wood of the home instead of looking at the very pony she read.

"What did you mean to do then? Kill me?" Cosmatic said, with a accusing tone. Twilight's depressed look quickly changed to one of horror. "I was meaning to stop the flow of your horn! I wasn't going to hurt you or kill you!" She said, obviously unaware of the fact that, if on cue, a few books were going to fall. The books from the bookcase behind her hit her head every time. After the onslaught of the books, she rubbed her head and shook her head. "You were the one that initiated it." She explained, again unaware that Cosmatic had no idea what she was talking about.

"What did I initiate?" Cosmatic Beat asked, worried that there may be even more after effects of what his instincts actually did. "You don't know what spell you casted on me?" Twilight asked, curiosity driving her words. "Um, no. I don't know what I did. I just felt...an overflow of magic and by instinct...I latched on?" He said, more of a question to himself then an answer to her. Twilight got up and slowly began putting the books back in the bookcase, using her magic. "I didn't even know you were capable of that kind of magic. In fact, it was rather overwhelming. Overtly so, apparently." Cosmatic explained, and when Twilight finished organizing the books and successfully putting them back, she looked at Cosmatic. "You came from another world." That sentence put everything into dead silence until it was resolutely broken.

"I like you already." Twilight said, smiling. This could be a chance to do a few projects, and if so, possibly visit this other world. She had to, first off, tell Princess Celestia about it. "What." Cosmatic said, a look of absolute confusion on his face. "Spike, take a letter." She walked downstairs, leaving Cosmatic ultimately confused. Cosmatic gathered his mind together and walked under his bed. As if it was meant to be there, a nice winter coat was there, able to cover his body enough so that he can stay warm. But why was it here? He looked out the window, and seen that it was bright as day, but snow was covering most of the landscape.

He got the winter coat on and walked down the stairs, ready for an onslaught of snow as always. However, he was stopped by the look of Twilight, her almost excited look fascinated him. Nearly a few minutes ago he was in the fight for his life. "Uh, if its possible, can I go with you?" Even though the girl had practically read his mind and may have nearly killed him, she was polite. "Even though you were a 'human' once, I'm pretty sure that nobody will go crazy when you are in this form. In fact, you'll blend right in. You look just like a..." She trailed off. "Lets get moving, huh?" Cosmatic said, and opened the door only to be welcomed to a buck to the face.
