Dick Grayson has lost everything. His home, his parents, and all to a greedy criminal. Recognizing the dire state Equestria is in, he transforms himself into Nightwing in order to protect the one thing left that he can call home. But to people looking on from the outside, it almost looks like a Nightmare Moon-esque transformation, and Nightwing soon finds himself on the wrong side of the law, with even the Elements of Harmony siding against him.
