The Begining of the End

"Unicron answer me!" Sombra said in a demanding voice. "See these! The Elements of Harmony, I now posses that which you most fear"

The dark unicorn king had been revived since his defeat at the Crystal empire by this being named Unicorn to retrieve the elements see he could destroy them. but Sombra realized that if he had the elements then he might gain control over this planet eating monster.

But all he was met with was a roar.

"You will do my bidding, or taste my wrath!" Sombra tried to use his magic to activate the trinkets, but his dark power could never replace the virtues those elements represented.

"You underestimate me Sombra" Unicron said

The parts on the surface of Unicron began to move in a strange way, some ground rose while others sank, two limes erupted  from his sides, joints came from his undercarriage and purple  glowing lines appeared.

Sombra stood in fear and awe as the event began to come to a close, finally a menacing head rose from where the hole had been, the right had became a big spiked club while the left became a long curved sword.

Sombra had just witnessed this planet turn into a giant metal monster!

The entire northern hemisphere of Arion had also witnessed this, Ponies Dragons, zebra, and griffons stood in shock at the pure terror of this beast.

The the thing that scared them the most was the first words it spoke:

"For a time, I considered sparing your wretched little planet Arion, but now you shall wittiness, its Dismemberment!"

"Nooo!"

Unicron drew closer to the planet raised his right hand.

And brought it down, and in less than a second, the country of Saddle Arabia was destroyed.

Ponies where screaming and running in all directions, the quakes had shattered buildings and many ponies had died from the impact, Shining Armor and the residents of ponyville where not spared.

Celestia stood at her balcony, the end was truly here, and their was nothing she could do.

Except for one thing.

Celestia wandered her way through the ruins of Canterlot making her way to Twilight's room, the door was broken down!

"Twilight! Spike! can you here me?!" Celestia shouted

"Princess over here!" Twilight's voice responded

The Princess turned to see her faithful student and her dragon in a corner.

They ran to each other and embraced their grasp.

"Is this the end princess?"

Celestia lowered her head.

"Its would seem so, this monster planet has come here to finish the job it started"

Twilight held Spike in her arms.

"Well at least well all go together"

"No Twilight"

The unicorn looked up. "What do you mean?"

"I have a spell for a situation like this" The princess manifested a book that Twilight had never seen before.

"Their is a spell in this book that can jettison you into space in special force field, it will also put you in a deep sleep that will keep you alive for as long as this field is intact"

Twilight was astonished. "This spell can do that?"

"Indeed"

"Well what are we waiting for lets use it on everpony we can!"

"Twilight" Celestia began. "The spell can only be used once, and it can only hold two"

Now Twilight was more worried than ever.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that you and Spike must use this spell to leave this world and find a new home among the stars"

"But what about you?"

"Even if i wanted to. I have already exhausted my magic to keep this city from crumbling, It is you and Spike who must carry on the legacy of this world"

This was to much for Twilight.

"No Iwant leave you! I stay here and die with my fellow ponies"

"Twilight please listen to me!" the princess had just used the royal Canterlot voice, no pony had heard that in a 1,000 years.

"I have lived a long life, seen many things, many wonders, including you, my lifespan was already nearing its end"

"You were dying?"

"But you Twilight you and Spike still have much life to live, if you won't do it for yourself do it for me"

Twilight couldn't believe what Celestia was asking her to do, she and Spike would be the last of their kind if they did this.

"Twilight" Spike said "We must do what she says"

Twilight thought hard, this was the last test her mentor was giving her, leave and live to see another day, or die with the rest of her kind.

Finally Twilight made her decision.

"I do it"

Celestia smiled "A wise choice"

The Spell was done carefully and quickly, a pink powerful force field was erected around Twilight and Spike, in a few moments they would be sent into space.

Twilight looked at Celestia on last time.

"Goodbye" Twilight said

Celestia put her hooves on the sphere

"Goodbye Twilight, you will always be my most faithful student"

Tears we running on all three sets of eyes, finally the sphere shot itself into the sky, trough the atmosphere and into space.

Twilight looked around and saw the monster planet began to devour her home world, her heart ached with each bite the planet took, it was 10 more second before it had consumed the world.

Twilight could only imagine the screams of the innocent beings as they met their demise.

Twilight could not look anymore, she held Spike, her only friend in her arms as they fell into a deep sleep.

That is how long the sphere drifted troughout space, it could have been pulled into a planets orbit and fallen to its surface, a star might have evaporated the thing incinerating its cargo, a black hole could have pulled it into its gravity defying grip.

But the sphere continued to float through space, ever still, ever safe.

A lot passed since it came into existence, civilizations rose and fell, stars burned out and new ones took their place great beings where born and destroyers ravaged worlds, and eventually after eons of conflict, the great Chaos bringer was defeated.

The sphere continued to float through space its passengers still alive having not aged a second since they rented it, the glow of the stars was its only energy source, it seemed that the two beings fate was to drift aimlessly throughout space forever.

But fate took a different course the sphere reached the edge of the galaxy where it came into a small solar system which was comprised of eight planets and many dwarf planets, the fragile sphere was caught in the gravity of a blue planet teaming with life, the worlds gravity pulled it in and the sphere descended.

It could have landed in a bustling city for all the world to see, it could have landed in a land where their where those who would use its secrets for evil, but fate guided it to one of the planets deserts where the impact could only be detected by the very few.

The sphere having served its purpose, dissipated releasing its cargo and allowing them to breath air for the first time in millions of years.

They slept their for a while, but then a green portal opened and out stepped a atonomus robotic organism who was also not of this world, carefully he examined the carter and what was inside it.

And he didn't expect to see a young female purple Unicorn and a green baby dragon sleeping.

The figure motion them to wake up, the unicorn being the first to wake was startled at this strange being not knowing it he was friend or foe.

Then the next thing the being said was a confirmation
